From the outside it might not look like much but the actual rooms are spacious, with a separate bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Both kitchen and bathroom seem recently refurbished and are clean and modern. The bedroom is nice with a high ceiling to the roof and comfy beds. A dedicated car spot is right in front of The room, freeing you from the headache of finding a location to park your car. The motel is literally at the beachfront. Just cross the road and walk towards the beach and sea. All shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

There is honestly nothing we would complaint about. It is a really nice motel.

My partner and I stayed at Beachfront Motel for the second year in a row. The location is perfect, right across from the beach and super close to the shops without being loud or busy. The room is cosy with great lighting and a large tv with streaming platforms. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped, though a tea towel may be helpful to bring. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, quickly sorting out any minor issues.

We liked being right across the road from the ocean. We also liked having a small space that had a sink, small table, microwave, refrigerator, silverware and dishes to eat on in it. The bathroom was a nice space.

We had to call someone to get access to our room when checking in and had to deal with using an international phone number and rates for the call even though we arrived during most motels normal business hours. Not a huge deal but an inconvenience.

Booked a 2 night stay and was pleasantly surprised by the space and layout of the room. Beds on separate sides of the room. Well resourced kitchen with table and chairs as well as comfortable chairs in the main room. Bathroom was new and well laid out with a terrific rainfall shower. The owners were pleasant and helpful. It was a very short walk to the shops, cafes and restaurants and across the road from the beach.

This is a perfect location for a 2 or 3-night stay in Apollo Bay if you are exploring the Great Ocean Road. Very close to the street with the restaurants and shops and also directly to the beach. The room is basic but spacy with an ensuite bathroom and a small separate kitchen. Everything was very clean. Check-in and check-out were short and smooth.

Nothing. The Motel is exactly what it advertises and what it looks like in the pictures.

since our group was arriving at the property late and we left to explore the otways very early on both mornings that we were there, we were able to arrange for a late check in without meeting the staff all throughout the stay. it was fuss-free and painless. the property is also new and everything was spick and span, parking was more than adequate per room and it is located just a stone's throw away from the tourist information centre, a petrol kiosk and tons of eateries.

The location is on the beach front and only 100 metres to cafes shops hotels. We love that you can walk everywhere . The rooms have recently been painted, the beds are comfy and you have free parking at your door

The exhaust fan in the bathroom and kitchen were very dirty. Also the fly screens on the bathroom and kitchen windows were dusty and dirty. Inside the kettle the bottom was slimy and I don’t think it had ever been cleaned

Great handy location with supermarket just around the corner. Directly across the road from the sea. Liked the 1970s style unit which is light and spacious. Clean bathroom and nice fresh bed linen. Loved having the wide shelf to place luggage.

The decor was pleasant but could be improved - for example more colourful bedcovers.

I loved the proximity to the township of Apollo Bay... we could walk to the end of the driveway and see the whole main street. The location was quite central to alot of things we have planned... the Otways Treetop walk, 12 Apostles visit, the many Lighthouses and even just the walk along the beach and foreshore - unfortunately through no fault of the hotel the weather that weekend was not playing around and we weren't able to do the bigger things we had planned but the sun came out enough times that we got to explore Apollo Bay and we have decided we'll just have to return to knock those other outings of our list. Josh was friendly and accommodating, answered questioned and you could see him & team working hard when other tenants vacated. I was very grateful for the sturdy carport as we had one day where it hailed quite a few times and our vehicle was more than protected. A little welcome folder with eating establishments, walking tracks and other activities further from Apollo Bay was a handy for us who haven't travelled there before even though I had done some research before our travels. Oh, I've written quite a bit haven't I lolz... all in all we'll be back to visit again :))

A small gripe according to my partner was the slow refilling of toiletries ie: toilet paper & tissues... he has allergies so I figured it would be more convenient for us to supply our own.

The unit was spacious and well laid out. The bathroom appeared newly renovated. There was a well appointed kitchenette with a dining table and chairs. It was spotlessly clean. There was a long bench for suitcases. The bed was comfortable. The location was great - easy walking distance to town, beach, restaurants and shops. The manager, Josh, was very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Minor issues: no-one at reception which made it tricky to access the key to the room, as we did not have the ability to make calls on our phones. The parking was tight. The blind was broken and we could not get the hand sanitiser dispenser to work.
