We booked a Deluxe Twin room for our 3 might stay. The room had a kettle with the shortest electrical cord I've ever seen but was usable for making the instant coffee and tea that was provided. The room was clean and modern. The beds comfortable and the room quiet for the most part. The location of the hotel was great, within walking distance to most sights. St. Patrick's Cathedral was a 3 minute walk away. Plenty of pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Staff was helpful and quick to respond to any inquiries we had.

I found the room cramped with no place to put an open suitcase. There were some hangers to put some clothes on and some hooks on the wall to hang coats. Our view out our window was of the entrance to the parking garage.

Good location, walking distance to Temple bar about 15-20 mins, very quiet surroundings so was perfect back from night out as was not a loud area compared to the hot spots. Lovely clean, even though we had a stain on the carpet but by the door so didnt bother us. Lovely bed made every day, 24/7 reception.

Didn't try the breakfast as 17 euro on the day seemed bit steep.

The Maldron Kevin Street is located within walking distance of all of the major tourist attractions. There are a number of great restaurants and pubs nearby (one is literally right across the street has live music most every night). The hotel offers breakfast (we didn't partake, but if the fullness of the dining room was any indication, I'd imagine it was decent), a full bar, and lunch/dinner menus, as well as late night pizza (but leave that for the very drunk, it's not for individuals with discerning tastes). The front desk staff are all friendly, knowledgeable, & efficient, and many are multi-lingual. The rooms are spacious and in addition to the bed & closet, they include a small table with two chairs, electric kettle, hair dryer, and TV. Some have bathtubs, others have regular or accessible showers only (be sure to make your preference known when booking). I also appreciated the larger, multi-use, environment-friendly bottles of conditioning shampoo & body wash in the shower (unfortunately, the room my friend was in did not have these). All Maldron Hotels have been accredited by Green Tourism, a certification program that provides a framework for achieving sustainable practices in the tourism industry.

1.) I found the mattress and pillows to be too firm. 2.) The margin for temperature control on the in-room thermostat is too narrow. I couldn't get it warm enough while awake & couldn't set it low enough to sleep comfortably cool. 3.) Room cleaning was inconsistent. I realized that post-COVID there have been significant changes to how this is done. I'm OK with reusing my towels for a couple of days (I leave them hung when they don't need to be changed) & I can make up my own bed. Strangely, staff entered my room every day; they emptied the trash bins, but only took away/replaced the dirty mugs & bar glass once. I never got water after the initial day & they only restocked the coffee/tea once (my friend said her supplies were replaced and restocked every day).

Nice place. Good breakfast. 10 minute walk to main tourist areas. New Airport Express route right beside the hotel which was super. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

Bathroom needed some attention. Grout in shower and on floor bad. Toilet roll coming off wall. Room good otherwise.

Good location, good breakfast selection, variety of drinks available at the bar. The map of the city provided by the hotel was a nice touch and easy to follow. Having a luggage store was helpful for later flights.

Room temperature hard to control, very warm over night, when requesting a fan, staff would rather play around with the air con dispite requesting a fan twice due to the room being very warm overnight resulting in disturbed Sleep. Holes in bedding pulse marks on duvet and pillow. Bottom sheet for the bedding continually coming off. When requesting for room to be ‘freshened up’ it just consisted of the bins being emptied and nothing else, such as clean towels or the bed being remade. Bar in the hotel was quite expensive.

The room and bathroom were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was ideal for a one night stay and the price which included a good breakfast was reasonable for a city centre hotel. An added bonus was secure parking on site although 25 euros for 24 hours was quite expensive.

I was rather annoyed that at 9.53 am about 5 or 6 young staff went to the breakfast buffet to help themselves and piled their plates with food before customers had finished serving themselves. Breakfast service was due to finish at 10 am! I had to wait because I could not get to the hot food, they also took all the croissant and pastries and I had to ask for more croissant and one more was brought but I had to insist that it was for me before one of them took it! They should have waited until service closed at 10 am for guests. Not impressed by this behaviour!

Great bathroom, furniture, lighting & cleaness.

Bathroom can use improvement. Sink doesn’t drain as it should and shower was a bit dirty and water still out the shower

- Excellent customer service. We travelled with a family member who has limited mobility. All the staff were incredibly proactive and treated us with kindness throughout our stay. - We had a unique challenge / difficulty with a family member not being able to easily and safely sit on the bed, due to a taller than normal mattress and divan base. The hotel manger Felipe was fast thinking and came up with a brilliant and SAFE method to overcome the issue - by creating a makeshift step to the bed. It worked perfectly. We are so grateful for your help. Worth nothing that the beds were very comfortable. - Wonderful location, about 10-15min walk from Temple Bar and other attractions. Also great selection of cafes nearby if you decided no to get breakfast at the hotel. - Also worth mentioning that the Airport Bus stops directly outside hotel, we couldn’t believe our luck!

- It provided everything we needed for a weekend away. No issues.

The Dublin Express stop was outside the hotel which was amazing. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Lots of options. Hotel room lovely, clean and comfortable. Complimentary water and coffee etc that was a god send.

Very minor but we had booked ourselves in for breakfast the night before but they didn’t have our name on the list come the morning. We were then being asked to pay the visitor fee of €17 each by the waiting staff. After expressing that I don’t think that’s acceptable as it wasn’t our fauit AND we were staying at the hotel we wouldn’t do that. A member of the reception staff then bypassed it and said it was fine for us to be accepted.
