Location was great, with Dominos diagonally across the road and a short walk into the city square. Motel.has soundproofing so road noise wasn't an issue. 2-bedroom family unit was great, having two fold-out couches in the lounge meant everyone had plenty of room. Nice to have milk provided. In-bathroom spa was a lovely way to end the day. Towels were thick and plentiful. Reception friendly and helpful. Other guests were nice people.

No small sharp knife in the kitchen - perhaps bring your own if planning on cooking. Shower boise is quite loud in the bedrooms.

We have stayed there is the past and will do again. It's a really pleasant place to stay and cloe to everything. The staff are great :)

The staff wouldn't have known and when we found out that the spa bath leaked quite a bit, we couldn't let the staff know until the next day. We didn't want to disturb them as it was well into the evening that it happened. When I told the owner, he immediately came and had a look. The floor was very wet overnight so possible a little dangerous.

Great location. My room has got a recliner chair and a spa bath. Great heating!

The doors and toilet sink were short of height. Have to lean down or squat to open the door. As of the toilet sink , for a short person like me, I still have to stoop down so the water doesn’t splash everywhere. Otherwise, the toilet has really good heating. You won’t feel cold after shower! :)

How nice and clean it was! The lounge and dining room is very spacious good for family. Property location was perfect close to city centre. We didn’t have to travel far it was a few minutes down the road. The rooms were clean and tidy. Kitchen area was awesome more than i expected!! There was sky tv which was so good we got to watch abit of the rugby world cup games. Overall we had a pleasant stay and we will definitely recommend this to our family and come back again next time.

I don’t think there wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Maybe just the wifi signal didn’t reach one of the rooms and lagged abit. Which had coming back into the lounge area to get full signal. But it didn’t ruin our stay we just had to adjust to that.

We enjoyed our stay, very clean and tidy and quite spacious (triple room, 1 double and 1 single). checkin was smooth and no hassle. Very affordable too. We will definitely stay here again for future trips.

not that it’s a biggie or issue but it would be handy if there was a rubbish bin in the bathroom, ie for tissues etc.

Very spacious and the beds were really comfortable! Great value for money and handy to the city centre, the spa was nice addition, would definitely recommend.

Shower head was a little smaller than would like and thus waterpressure wasn't the best and also the kids would have liked a tv in the bedroom but thats being picky.

The location is great and easy to go to the supermarkets as well as the central area, and the room is comfortable with my family and has all the necessary needs in the motel. The owners are friendly and help us on first time arriving in Palmerston North. Recommended.

Nice and Roomy, clean and had lots of space.

The neighbors next door on the other side of the fence in the flats, we're having loud arguments during most of the time we were there.. other then that it was a good stay there at Shadzz Motel.

The room was extremely clean and tidy. The bedroom was large, as was the bathroom and spa bath. As a family, it was excellent for us having a large living area (with a bed) as well as a seperate bedroom. We asked for a cot, which was provided. The location is also great.

The motel itself is dated but it’s so well maintained and clean so this did not matter.
