Daniel the receptionist made our stay trutly exceptional he turned a standard hotel weekend break into a wonderful holiday, because of this we ended up upgrading to a suite and extended our stay for another two nights.

No separate way to get to your room for residents. You have to walk through the restaurant/bistro

Daniel was absolutely second to none, nothing was any trouble at all and I really felt I was as I had any 7 month old and pram in tow that needed carried up the stairs. Daniel really made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my stay and have already booked another night in Beechlawn. thank you so much Daniel!!

This hotel was very nice . Daniel, Barbara and all the staff were excellent. They really took good care of us. The Bell Family appreciates All of you. Definitely will stay here again when we go back. The owner also was very nice and made sure we were taking care of. We love all of you. ❤️

We liked everything about this hotel.

The staff were all very friendly particularly the gentleman on reception. A homely hotel in its design quiet and yet busy with customers. The food was fantastic deserves higher than 3 star hotel rating for this! only a short spin into city centre and good caroark at hotel.

There isn’t a pool or spa but the relaxed atmosphere in this hotel you won’t miss this aspect!!

Breakfast was lovely..room was very comfortable, domestic staff were always their to help with anything that we needed for the room..very friendly staff and took interest what we were doing that day..a credit to the Hotel.

The only thing I found a struggle with was the large portions at dinner time..over the years people of our age group find are appetites reduce sum what, did notice customers were given take away trays to take what they didn’t eat, not sum thing we could do being residence.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly, Hotel was spotlessly clean, food was very good, Breakfast was ok Rooms were spacious and cleaned every day with fresh towels, the hotel has its own pub which was great for a Guinness after a day playing or watching golf Ten minutes out of Belfast city center but getting a cab wasn’t an issue I would definitely recommend the Beachlawn Hotel , an hidden gem and very reasonably priced very good value for money

The Breakfast

The hotel is very central to Belfast. The staff are friendly, very welcoming, and attentive. The room was decorated beautifully. I loved the shower room decoration too, very modern and spotless. The bed was very comfortable. There was tea/coffee available in our room. We booked dinner for the evening and I'm so glad we did as this is a very popular hotel restaurant. There was a lovely menu with tempting dishes. We chose the joint of the day, Turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, veg and roast potato. The food was delicious it was a large portion I couldn't finish it. I'm sad I didn't have room for dessert as they all looked delicious too. Breakfast was also delicious and freshly cooked. I had porridge, which was cooked when I requested it. I ordered boiled eggs and again they were cooked when I ordered them. My mum had a small fry, which was 2 sausages, 2 rashers, and 2 fried eggs with toast, all freshly cooked to order. The waiting staff at both dinner and breakfast were lovely. Before we left, we met one of the housekeeping staff who enquired if we needed any assistance with our baggage. So thoughtful and kind. I would highly recommend this beautiful gem of a hotel in Dunmurry Belfast. Hope to stay again myself

The breakfast was very good, and the girls who served it were very friendly, helpful, and kind. The bedroom was spotless, warm and comfortable. All the staff were very helpful and kind. The hotel had a lovely homely friendly feel. I loved staying there, and I'd be very happy to stay there again.

Friday night was very busy in the dining room, and the bar was packed and very noisy, which is fine, but there was nowhere else to sit, except in the bedroom. Might be a good idea to add a few more chairs, or a comfortable couch, at the reception area. That would solve that problem. That was the only downside for me!

Dinner was great, food was really good washed down with a pint of Guinness. Breakfast was good, nice and hot and freshly prepared. surroundings were really good. I had an early flight across from England and the hotel let me check in early without charging which I thought was very good & much appreciated. The room was fine, it was nice and big with a good sized bathroom

room backed onto the kitchen extractor which meant you couldn't open the window whilst dinner/breakfast service was ongoing due to the hum of the extractor but I just shut the window and the bathroom door and didn't affect my stay.

The breakfast was good but not amazing. Both my son and I like to eat fruit in the morning and this was very poor. Other than that, good choice of cereals and cooked breakfast available on request. The hotel had a restaurant attached. We eat there a few of times. Comfortable beds and very clean. The ensuite was very good. The hotel has free car park which was ideal as I had a rental car. The reception staff were helpful. On the whole this is a good hotel.

The restaurant's menu had very limited choices. After eating there a few times we were repeating our food choices. It was also very busy and noisy as it offered hired spaces for events. It did impact on parking on one occasion. The room doesn't have any sockets by the beds.
