The room we had was a flat on the ground floor. Everything from the service to the menu and options and taste of the food exceeded my expectations! The location is perfect c t for having a beautiful view and being out of the crowded areas but just a very short bus ride away from everything! This was by FAR my favorite place we stayed during our two wwek vacation in Austria and Germany. I will definitely plan a return trip to this beautiful sanctuary in the future!

You cannot change the language on the television, but that is everywhere and is controlled by the service provider. The nice thing here is that they have a smart TV where you are able to log into your apps and watch your shows in your native language! 🥰 Just another little perk that sets this place apart from all the others!

As soon as you enter this family hotel, it is clear to you that every detail, every guest, is taken care of. Everything is clean, beautiful, comfortable, fragrant, and cozy. It is obvious that the hosts take this job seriously, which is more than just a job for them. Guests here feel like they have come to visit relatives. Every morning, in addition to the various foods already on the buffet, we could choose whether we wanted an omelet or something else to be prepared - just for us. Our room was spacious, bright, with a beautiful terrace, from which there was a view of the beautiful surroundings. The dining room and common rooms are decorated in a traditional style combined with modern details. One of these details is the elevator, which is valuable when you are carrying a lot of luggage. The parking lot where guests can leave their cars while exploring the surroundings or, for example, taking the bus to Salzburg, is very useful. The weather was not kind to us, so we were unable to use the pool (it was rainy and chilly), but I'm sure those who did have nothing but praise for it. I hope I will have the opportunity to be a guest of the wonderful Bloberger Hof again. Until then, I wish you much success in your future work, and thank you for giving me a wonderful stay in Salzburg.

We loved our stay from start to an end. The place is wonderful with amazing surroundings. Everything is suer clean, modern and really relaxing. By public transport you are easily in the city center in less than 20 minutes. The breakfasts were to die for…local food and drinks, everything fresh and delicious. It’s a family run small hotel with wonderful atmosphere and every little detail though of. We will definitely return the next time we are in Salzburg.

We loved everything! Just wish we were told right away about the bus, Salzburg card and other details. It was just a minor thing and we were told everything once we asked…but perhaps it would be good, if during the check in the staff could share this info.

The hotel is in a quiet location, near the end of a long straight road, about 5km from the centre of Salzburg. The rooms are huge and well appointed with a kitchenet area and a large dining table. The hotel has an excellent bar and dining area serving great local dishes, as well as an outside terrace with a natural pool - bit chilly in late spring though. There is also a large parking area

The pillows, as in many of the Austrian hotels we visited had very flimsy pillows that were hard to make comfortable The restaurant menu could be a bit more varied, however the food was excellent

Gorgeous location, the room was well equipped and large. Breakfast was also amazing! We found the staff to be helpful and very welcome - you can buy tickets into Strasbourg at reception which is ideal. The view from the room felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but the bus in to the centre of the town takes less than 15 minutes, so you really get the best of both worlds.

There's a real lack of air conditioning - not a problem for most of the year I imagine, but we happened to stay in the midst of very hot weather at the start of September. However, I acknowledge it was probably hotter than it normally ever is (35°) when we stayed, and being in an attic room beneath wooden beams is perhaps one of the main reasons we were quite uncomfortable. But not a qualm persay, we still loved our stay!

It’s a family run hotel and everyone was incredibly hospitable. We don’t speak much German but that wasn’t a problem as the staff all had superb English - and other languages! There is a freshwater swimming pool which was wonderful in the hot weather. Room was comfortable and the bed was fantastically luxurious. Location peaceful and only ten to fifteen minutes outside Salzburg but it felt rural. Perfectly located for the bus into the city. We ate in the restaurant twice. Limited menu but beautiful food.

We arrived very late by car, just before midnight but it was so logical and easy to make self-check in. Everything is clean and spotless, cozy and warm, not to mention beautiful. Breakfast is served in such a style that you do not even need many items! We loved this place so much and highly recommend for couples for romantic holiday in Salzburg. People are very friendly and notice things - we came from dinner from a local place and had desserts with us - in hotel reception we were given spoons without even asking :-) This is the level every hotel should reach for.

I had a feeling that there had been a smoker in this room earlier, so I had to keep windows open all the time. For the second night it was better already. I had to clean a towel dryer myself because it was very dusty but I was happy that they had one :-D

Well, everything. Starting from the great location, which is easily reached by bus from Salzburg centre, yet borders open fields and the nearby and spectacular Untersberg mountain. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and comfort in this hotel is extraordinary. I've stayed in many 'high end' hotels through work travel, but none has matched the feeling we had staying at Bloberger Hof. Very convenient for bus transport into Salzburg and out to Untersberg cable car, then to Hellbronn Palace. And, of course, the family themselves... excellent hosts. Each interaction was warm and welcoming. Thank you so much for a very lovely time in Salzburg, and I really hope we can manage a return trip in the future! Ian & Amy

Nothing. It was a perfect stay for us.

Staff very friendly and although they are more than happy to speak English, they are also willing to let you try out your German language skills if you wish. Room was lovely and had all the facilities that wou would need. Food - both breakfast and evening meals - were excellent. Very easy to get into Salzburg by bus - the bus stop is just around the corner from the hotel and the buses run about every 20 minutes; plus you can buy the tickets from the hotel Reception. Wouldn't hesitate to recomennend the Bloberger Hof and would certainly stay here if we visited Salzburg again.

Breakfast was delicious with a large choice of cereals, meats cheeses. The friendly staff made sure that the food was kept well stocked. We loved the varied small dining areas, the terrace is very pretty for fine weather dining. We enjoyed our dinners, home cooked food at very reasonable prices.

All I can think of is the breakfast serviettes were a bit thin.
