The hotel has big rooms with plenty of space, making it comfortable for guests. The kitchenette is well-equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, and induction stove, which is great for cooking. The location is quiet and safe, close to the metro and a Delhaize grocery store, making it convenient for travelers.

The dishes and cutlery were not clean, which was disappointing. There were no slippers provided, and the wastebaskets were quite small. The continental breakfast was good, with eggs, cold cuts, cheese, fruits, and pastries. But the options didn’t change much, so it became repetitive over time.

Room was very comfortable, had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Hotel had plenty of facilities, laundry and fitness areas, a mini-mart, cold water station and a nice restaurant. They also have extra personal kits available which was incredibly helpful. Overall we had a really great stay!

Only thing was the location - it was a little while away from the city centre and while normally this wouldn’t be an issue, the parts we walked through to get to the hotel were quite scary. I wouldn’t recommend staying here alone for that reason.

We realized that this was a pretty good location for walking to the downtown area-should have studied the map better! The first day we had walked in the opposite direction and caught the metro. You live and learn. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The little bar by reception was handy for an evening drink and snack and the young lady behind the bar was very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of restaurants close by too.

First impression of the area wasn't great but it proved to be fine. Had to wait for our room to be ready but it was worth it as it was clean and comfortable. No complaints.

The location is really good. There are plenty of food options just outside of the hotel especially for pizza lovers, and cozy atmosphere. There are some night shops outside of the hotel if one need something quick. Access to public transports and the neighbourhood is very attractive.

The room that was provided to me had a separate toilet and a bathroom. It is really a good option, however, good if there are hand wash available in the toilet areas too. This is only a minor suggestion, but the rest is all too good.

Nice big room and bed. Bathroom was also nice and modern. Would stay again. If you have a car download "Parkbee" app, search up "Hôtel des Monnaies" and book directly via the app for your parking. The hotel uses this private parking as well for their clients but the big difference is that the hotel will charge you 35€ per 24 hours and the app will charge you 11€ per 24 hours so drastically different. It's exactly the same parking which is situated on the street behind the hotel. It's also very confusing to get out of once you park so you're better off coming back to the garage main entrance door and then opening the door via the Parkbee app. The app is very simple to use.

Parking is 35€ per day. Download ParkBee and get the same exact parking as the hotel offers for 11€ per day.

The hotel is comfortable, very clean, quiet (we slept at the back of the hotel viewing the garden) and well located. The neighborhood offers a lot of coffee bars and restaurants, all nearby.

The policy of the hotel is that you pay a guarantee of 25 euros per night in advance. When you finished your stay you can get this amount back, on the other hand the staff can decide to keep the whole sum of money because you may have made a tiny scratch on the furniture for example, even if you didn't do it. Let is be clear: this is not a policy of Hilton but a policy of this hotel. The conclusion is: the management of this hotel does not trust her own guests which is extremely unpleasant and far from welcoming. This bizar policy is mentioned on the Booking.com website but is not included in the booking confirmation email. Both the hotel and booking.com should state this more clearly. For us it is a reason not to book this hotel again unless they change the policy.

Huge, modern room, with lots of storage - great for tidying away all our luggage, clothes and shopping and keeping the place tidy. Well appointed kitchenette in a separate room was great for preparing our own breakfast (I think they wanted €30 per person for their breakfast which we passed on).

In the evenings before going out, we like to be able to listen to some music. No music stations and the TV was not a Smart TV so we couldn't connect to our Spotify/YouTube accounts. I expect all hotel rooms to have Smart TVs now, particularly at this price range. Also, the body moisturiser dispenser was missing from our room (although I didn't report this to staff).

The room was very spacious and had all the amenities needed. I particularly appreciated the cleanliness and felt very comfortable thanks to that. The bed pillows are amazing. Breakfast is good and you have plenty of options to choose from. You can even make fresh orange juice and waffles. Very nice and helpful staff. We could also leave our luggage after check out. Overall, the room and the experience exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Some water in the room would have been nice or at least a mini bar.
