Overall, a pleasant stay. Great location and I believe it pays off value for money. It's very close to a lot of the emblematic places, staff always very kind when contacting them by phone mainly and the room was comfortable generally.

Initially, I felt a bit uneasy in the area, though everything turned out fine. A bit noisy when cars were passing through the area but not a big problem. Keep in mind that accessing higher floors with a baby trolley might be challenging as there's no lift.

* Good location: around 15 - 20 mins walk from the central station, plenty of good eateries nearby * Considering that the hotel scene in the city can be expensive, I do think that this hotel provides an excellent value * Easy check in procedure with access codes even when reception isn’t available (only available during business hours). During checkout, the guy at the reception was really pleasant - letting me store my bags for a couple hours after checkout

* Not an issue for me, but some may find the lack of elevators an issue (climb up a set of narrow stairs) * I was able to hear stair climbing and sounds from the other room during my stay, which luckily didn’t happen late at night - nothing too major but still highlighting that the room isn’t that soundproof (and also since the rooms as a whole on the smaller end)

We had a lovely stay with everything we needed. It was warm enough, exceptionally clean and there was a coffee machine. I couldn’t have asked for more. The host kept checking in on us every day by chat to make sure we didn’t need anything! The location is also great but I feel like this is a point not worth mentioning since the location can be seen while booking, so everyone can decide if it’s suitable for their needs. Also, the whole place smelled like very clean and I appreciate that.

One thing I didn’t find convenient was the fact that we didn’t have soap in the toilet. We were in a room with a separate bath and sink with soap. There is a sink in the toilet but no place for soap. This is easily fixable though, just something that might make the stay more convenient.

This was my third or fourth stay in the hotel, and is certainly not the last. Staff is very friendly and always helpful either giving you tips about the area or simply making sure that everything works in the hotel. Rooms are spacious and light. The Saint Catherine are is lovely, with offers for all tastes. From Asian food, to Brazilian grill restaurant, to typical Belgian food. There’s also a range of options for breakfast or brunch in the square, where you will also find the metro station.

The location is perfect, especially for people travelling without a car. All landmarks are near the hotel At the end of the street, there are cafes, restaurants and kids parks so at any time you can go there. Also, 10 minutes walk, it is the Grand Palace and many shops and restaurants. I recommended the hotel ..some points for the hotel are: clean, polite people and cute decorations. There is no elevator, but it is not bad for us because my son is 7.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Les Ecrins in Brussels, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the experience was superb. The hotel boasts a fantastic location, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The room facilities were top-notch—spotlessly clean, modern, and exceptionally comfortable. Every detail seemed thoughtfully considered, contributing to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that all our needs were met with a smile. Overall, Hotel Les Ecrins exceeded our expectations in every way. For a memorable stay in Brussels, this hotel is truly a gem. I would give it full marks without hesitation and look forward to returning on our next visit.

The location was great and easy to access. It was quiet, and I appreciated the flexible check-in as I arrived rather late. I was provided with access codes which made entry simple and convenient. For a short stay, everything necessary was provided.

The room I stayed in looked very different from the photos. The shower cabin was placed in the corner, and it isn’t cozy or luxurious as is shown on thr photos. The cleanliness could be improved, and the bed linen and towels seem very worn and should be replaced.

Stayed here on a "city break". We spent 2 nights and just wished we could have stayed for a couple more. The hotel is extremely central with all the best of Brussels at a couple of minutes walk distance. There's a metro station about 1 min walk from the hotel and as soon as you walk out of the door, whatever route you take to the centre is worth it. Plenty to see, loads of decent restaurants and really lively. The room is way bigger than it appears on the photos set out in a well kept vintage building. The check-in is all done online and you get given codes to access the building and rooms. The bed is really comfy and the addition of a coffee machine and little fridge is very handy. Definitely would stay again!

Nothing to dislike

Bath was amazing. Location was perfect Was a romantic style hotel - great for couples Staff were great, in the process of sending something back to my home as we left it behind when we popped back in to pick it up. Main double bed was comfy

Could hear people loudly having sex underneath us. Awkward with the kids in the room also listening. "Open plan" bathroom bit awkward with a teen in the room with us. Really seemed perfect for couples. The kids beds were a bit of an after thought - in that they were solid, felt like backs off a bench seat.
