The cleanliness and welcoming staff were exceptional and the surprise was the quality of the restaurant food which were were not planning to use but were so please we did , as the quality of the food and drinks were well beyond what we expected and is the positive lasting memory of our stay. The hoists / manager was also warm and engaging and she made us feel engaged and really welcome . The roomed and facilities were clean and functional but a bit dated .

Decor and overall look was clean and functional but dated. The food quality aand menu if all dishes are as good as we experienced in the restaurant are far better than the decor and feeling of the aged facilities.

The scenery and backyard was absolutely beautiful!! We were allowed to check in early which was great for us being out of town. The room was warm as on arrival. The location was perfect!! Its always awesome to see maori staff too!!!!!! This was one of our best stays, well definitely be back!!!! Thank you 😁

The heat pump, i find it very dehydrating. The shower, makes too much water mess. The self locking door, i didn't realise i needed to take my key with me, lucky someone was with me lol.. the couches didn't have pillows. The bigger couch was broken. The toilet could do with a rail to help get up due to its extremely close proximity to the shower

The room had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. There was a comfortable sofa in the living area which was great in the evenings. There is a laundry (pay)and a washing line for guests, a great help when you are travelling. We loved the hot tub after a busy day out! The motel is situated slightly out of town, but easily drivable. There is an on site restaurant which looked to be very popular. Walking distance to the Skyline with gondolas, luge, wine tasting and more. Above all, the staff were lovely, and very helpful when we needed some advice.

The complex has existed for some time and is well maintained. The room had plenty of space, was clean and bed was comfortable. The bonus was a good size covered verandah with a large Jacuzzi, which my wife used daily. The verandah also looked over some majestic gardens with a fresh creek flowing through. Very relaxing. Breakfast was delivered to your unit on the morning and had a excellent range of choices both hot and cold. But the surprise was the Restaurant that was part of the establishment. It had a relaxed casual feel and a really great range of meals and drinks to choose from. The chef and waiter are to be congratulated on the quality dining delivered. The staff in the office also were welcoming and very helpful whenever we had an enquiry. We would definately stay here again. Thank you

The location and the property were excellent. We had no car, but were able to walk to the Gondola and Luge, the 3D Art Museum and the Mitai Maori Village. There was a bus stop very close by for everything else. The stream on the property is beautiful. We played ping pong and a round of golf each evening. And even though we visited during Spring Break, it was very quiet.

We paid extra to have a room with a hot tub, but the hot tubs were not working while we were there for 5 nights, so never got to enjoy a soak. We were told the plumber was trying to fix them, but we were never offered a refund for the extra we had paid.

Everything was absolutely lovely and the front desk staff was an 11 out of 10. Terrific, friendly and helpful!

Two small hiccups. 1) The walk to the Mitai was a bit farther than described, and didn’t have a safe pedestrian crosswalk over the main road, and the Mitai driveway is really not intended for pedestrians, especially after dark. Would recommend folks hire a ride. 2) the front desk very helpfully booked our XL taxi (early morning) back to town for our 8:15 AM bus. However, the taxi service needed to change the arrangements at 7:15 AM, but couldn’t reach us. Would have been better to book ourselves and leave the service our number to call in case of change.

Wife and I visited for a special anniversary. We arrived with a respiratory illness beginning, so ended up stuck in the room for 3 of the 4 days. The cooking facilities were basic, but good enough to self cater - very important given the circumstances prevented us from eating out. The outdoor hot tub was a huge blessing, allowing some relaxation in beautiful surroundings, while we were restricted in not being able to go out due to sickness. To top things off, the staff (incl restaurant) were a great help during our stay and even gave us a special surprise gift for our anniversary.

The only recommendation I'd make would be to supply a saucepan and portable electric hot plate to allow basic stovetop cooking (eg. boiling eggs or veges). The electric cooker supplied in the room was ok, but too big to do something as simple as boiling an egg.

It is a big apartment, with a comfortable living room. You could easily fit a family of four with some supplementary beds. The hot tub is nice! Kitchen is well equipped, and we could prepare breakfast for ourselves one day. It has nice holiday vibes, but we were there in autumn so couldn't really get the full experience :)

The bedroom isn’t very spacious, so we left our luggage in the living room. The hot tub is located in a backyard area, where you can hear others enjoying their tubs nearby.

The location was great for attending the dinner and cultural show at Mitai Maori. The staff was outstanding and our communication with them was great. We had to call them after hours because we could not shut off the hot tub jets and they were able to tell us what to do. Loved having the private hot tub and the bed was very comfortable.

Loved having the hot tub, but be aware that you have to fill it, which took awhile. We ordered breakfast and had it delivered p, which is a nice service, but it was not our favorite.
