Stayed 5 days. Excellent service except housekeeping, great breakfast n rooms. Excellent n simple controls for bathtub. Horse carriage pick up from station.

Housekeeping was poor. I left room at 1pm, asked for room cleaning b4 2pm. I came back at 230pm n nothing was done! I had to call again n endure more than 30m of cleaning. Disrupted my afternoon plans. Also, had to ask for turndown service a few times after 7pm. Also bar top up was not done a few times.

Good location in the centre of the town. Fabulous sauna, spa & pool centre. Helpful concierge service. Good restaurants.. Some rooms have views of the Matterhorn..

Temparure controls for the water in showers and bath were fiddly. Exhaust fans in bathrooms are a bit noisy, are on timers and took too long to turn off. Just a little too far to walk to Sunegga ski lift with ski gear so usually have to use taxis to get to lifts.

We enjoyed the daily breakfast and appreciated the vast selection to choose from! The staff was always polite and responded immediately to our requests. They were wonderful!

There were two shortcomings. The first was that it would have been nice to have air conditioning. Since there wasn't any air conditioning, we opened the door and window. This led to two unpleasantries. A spider found its way into our room which I found on top of our bed the next morning. Pretty sure that I was bitten by the spider. The second concern happened both nights -- with the door and window open (to cool the room), we could hear everything late at night. In fact, there were two men in the alley adjacent to us that were talking extremely loud from about 1a until 3a, both nights/mornings. Unfortunately, this made sleeping difficult.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mont Cervin Palace, and while everything about the hotel was top-notch, what truly made my experience unforgettable was the exceptional care from the concierge team, especially Pietro.

All the staff from concierge to reception to restaurant to housekeeping are very polite, helpful and positive. Their dedicated attitude is focused on the perfect guest experience. The hotel has a wonderful spa, which is just what you need after a long day of skiing or snowboarding. Furthermore the ski room facilities are second to none with ventilated lockers for each room, and helpfully a ski shop is attached within the same building, so equipment rental can be charged to your room with one click. no need to leave the hotel to rent equipment or buy the latest gear. Located right in the village, so quite far from the ski lifts if walking in ski gear BUT the facilities, service & positive vibes outweigh this, and worth the daily taxi ride at 12 CHF each way to the ski lifts. However, being in the village means that you are right smack in the middle to shop in all the big brand watch & clothing stores, and have all the restaurants right on your door step. The lively part of town therefore is at your fingertips. The restaurants within the hotel are wonderful though, so you don’t necessarily have to venture out to dine. The rooms are perfectly clean, homely, well equipped and the suites are very spacious. Modern touch button showers and baths with rainfall showers, soft fluffy towels and also wonderfully heated when you come back after a day out in the snow. Comfy, homely with a Swiss touch of magic and the view of the Matterhorn or surrounding mountains. I keep returning every year, and truly highly recommend this wonderful hotel with all its fabulously helpful staff, which I cannot praise enough. I have stayed in all of Zermatt 5 star hotels, but the Mont Cervin Palace is the winner for me every time. Thank you to all the staff for making each stay more than memorable for all the right reasons.

What a wonderful hotel in the heart of Zermatt. The service from arrival to departure exceptional and all the staff was helpful and friendly - one of our best ever hotel experiences. We continuously felt that they went above and beyond. The hotel itself was great with a slightly dated interior but this added to the ambiance and provided a bit more of a traditional Swiss experience. The hotel breakfast was great and although we did not dine at the hotel they seem to have two nice restaurants.

The location is the best in Zermatt, the staff was very helpful spicaly Mr. Faisal, he was very kind and well knowledged. The concierge guys have answers for all my questions. And I am very sorry to forget the breakfast buffet manger because he were the best guy ever and has the most positive energy while serving people on the morning.

I am fread that there is one thing that is missing in Mont Cervin Palace since it is a 5 stars hotel which is not providing an iron.

The staff and attention to detail! We travelled with our 2 month old and they made our first trip so special.

Friends booked the smaller hotel - petite cervin. I think the rooms should be labelled main hotel and separate hotel to avoid any confusion.

I have been many times in this hotel. And also this time, for example: The breakfast and the food in the restaurant in the evening were very good. The staff was friendly. Because of these and many other reasons I think this is an excellent hotel.
