The property was very cosy and clean, with lovely furnishings. The breakfast provided was high-quality products and great variety. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was perfect for exploring the riverside attractions in Brisbane and the city.

The room was bright and gorgeously decorated, I just would have liked a larger window and view outside. A very minor thing. I am looking forward to returning next visit to brisbane

Breakfast was great. It was lovely to be able to meet the other guests. It felt more like travelling than just staying.

We were visiting for the British Lions Rugby tour but didn’t want to be in the city centre. Philip, the owner, has been running his BnB for 10 years and has nailed it! New Farm ticked all the boxes. The room and facilities were great. The location is perfect for exploring the area, close to the ferries and local amenities, which are incredible! Supermarkets, restaurants, bars, markets outdoor spaces… the place to be.

A great location for cafes and the ferry. Our host Phillip was there to answer any questions and give us tips as well as breaky to start the day. We felt very welcome and my sister and I would recommend staying here. Also we were staying in the cold snap of June '25 and the room was super cosy with the split system too

Smallish rooms but we could use the kitchen lounge area if needed, but great for a base and so handy.

I stayed in the #9 apartment room for one night. It was up a staircase but beautifully furnished and very well appointed with everything to be self sufficient. The bed was super comfy and the self check in process went smoothly. Shower was nice and hot and great water pressure. The parking was free

Although free, the street parking wasn't ideal, but I eventually found a park within walking distance.

We loved the relaxed atmosphere in this gorgeous property. It was very clean and well maintained. Our room had a lovely balcony which we used a lot and was an unexpected extra that we appreciated. The bathroom had a fantastic mirror and great lighting for getting ready. The water pressure in the shower was perfect and it was nice and hot. WiFi was quick and easy to connect to and the air con worked perfectly. Ideal location if you are going to something at The Powerhouse like we were. From what we could see, all the rooms looked very pretty. We couldn't fault it!

The location was excellent for the Comedy Festival events we were attending at the Power House, and it was also handy for the city. The room was lovely, comfortable bed, good shower, well equipped. Nice continental breakfast, which also allowed us to meet and chat with the other guests.

The plumbing is a bit noisy, but it is an old house. Not a major issue by any means though.

The location was excellent for us as we could walk to The Powerhouse for a night out of entertainment. It was clean and tidy. Great communication. Such a pretty place to stay and it included a continental breakfast. Very happy. Would stay here again.

Wasn't able to close the windows completely being an older Queenslander style. There were shutters which we could close, which was good.

A perfect place to allow us to recover from our 24 hour journey from the UK. Edward Lodge was very comfortable and offered the simple services we needed. Phil and Colleagues were super friendly and helpful. The location in New Farm acted as a perfect place to bookend our wonderful visit to Australia. Thank you Edward Lodge.
