Really good location, close to the train station and to the duomo and designer stores. There is a nice coffee shop and great restaurant just around the corner. Property is nice and clean. We had a triple room, so a bit more space than the normal doubles. Decor was nice and beds were comfortable. They have a cooler with water in the room which is nice and a coffee machine in the hallway which was also a big plus for me. Staff were friendly and helpful. Self check in was really handy, especially as we arrived in the evening after the normal check in hours.

Bathroom was a bit tired and door was too close to the single bed which was a pull down and just about ok for a grown teen. Our particular room was a little dark as it looked onto a small internal space but other rooms, I noticed are bright and sunny, so it just depends on what you get. Overall, really good.

I loved everything! Large, comfortable room. Amenities include espresso machine and water dispenser. Staff were very helpful, especially Arturo. Great location. I can't say enough good things.

My only caveat is that there are 4 steps up to the elevator, which makes it difficult for people with mobility issues. However, this seems to be common in Italy so it's not really fair to hold it against this one place. Just wanted to mention it so others can plan accordingly.

The location was in the center of Florence, staff was super friendly and communicated all the instructions clearly in advance and was always there and helpful with everything. The room was super clean, nothing was missing. We stayed for 2 nights, and the 2nd day sheets were changed, bed was made and room was in order. Perfect stay when visiting Florence :)

There's nothing we didn't like at all.

Location was so perfect. Close to the train station and several plazas and things we had planned to do. Just loved the location. Safe Clean Air conditioning worked well

Didn’t get codes to enter until an hour before we were scheduled to arrive (apparently after it is staffed). Had to request it a couple of times. Shower leaks terribly. Fortunately there is a drain in the bathroom floor. Room was very very small. Challenging for two adults and two suitcases. Could benefit from far more hooks in bathroom and even wall hooks in main room to hang more clothes/towels. Appreciated the hanging shelf in the bathroom as it has a typical for Europe pedestal sink - not much room for toiletries. Appreciated the small fridge, safe, and hair dryer very much. Tiny elevator is a hoot! So glad it was there and works great!

Absolutely fantastic location with the best bar ever (Giacosa) just up the road. The room was small but beautifully appointed, very clean and we enjoyed daily room service which was a welcome bonus! Also absolutely lovely staff.

We weren't told that our parking costs would have to be paid in cash on the spot when our car was delivered back to us so we were very embarassed to have to run to the atm. The parking guy was very rude to us.

Excellent location close to the train and the Piazza della Repubblica. The room and bathroom were very clean and I particularly appreciated the large shower, especially after coming from staying in other nice hotels with tiny showers. The host was super nice and even left us water in the fridge (in a reusable glass bottle).

The room could use blackout curtains, as even at night the light from the streets would enter the room. It was somewhat noisy as well but not too annoying. Tiny elevator with limited capacity; we ended up going up and down all 3 floors (63 stairs if I remember correctly) with a bunch of bags, and the stairway was pretty dark - could use better illumination.

The staffs were really helpful. The first day of arrival , our ac started to leak, and they fixed it within an hour. They were very kind and helpful in terms of helping us to book taxi. Also, the staffs are super duper friendly. Love the doggy at the hotel😊 The bed is really comfortable and the shower space is wide and comfortable! The aircond is cold too! The free flow of coffee is convenient and smart! Enjoyed our stay here!

I didn’t realize the at when I booked the room that it was a 1 star and that there was really no front desk. I had to let them know when I was arriving so that someone could give me that key and a code to get in the building.

For the price, the room had all the amenities we needed, and the level of hospitality and behavior we were treated with was heartwarming. Everything was clean and usable, with a surprising amount of toiletries provided. The location was very, very central. Situated within the shopping district and only a 10-15 minutes walk from the station. You can use this place as a base for all your day trips from Florence. And Chuck the dog was very polite, and we wish we got to see more of him.

The staircase/elevator are both narrow, but that is to be expected when an older Italian building is retrofitted with elevators. If you have really large luggage, it might be a bit of chore maneuvering them. Once you get to the hotel floor itself, the space is much wider.

This place is amazing! One of our favorites while touring Italy. Staff were excellent in every way possible, facilities were so clean, and they are in a perfect location in Florence! Residenza Florentina even provides free drinking water for its residents, coffee and the option to store luggage after check out! Across the street was a really good Mexican restaurant and laundry mat. We would go back & stay longer.
