Yes I trvelled to Lisbon to run the half marathon and had used booking.com to find a place to stay initially .. when I arrived at this venue I was most disappointed by its location cleanliness and facilities . I had seen your hotel earlier and thought it looked very nice . So I returned to yours and asked for a room at the last minute I was dealt with by a lovely female assistant I think her name was aura or something similar she was extremely polite and helpful and she found me a room . I had a fabulaous room and ordered room service to which the waiter was very helpful and polite . The spag boll was off the chart it was so tasty I had a lovely breakfast this morning and alllowed to leave my stuff to run the marathon I returned and was also allowed to shower which I am most grateful All in all 10/10 and thank you

We stayed one night before leaving the country, and the room was small as expected but very clean with fresh linens and towels. The shared bathroom was also very clean. It's in an older part of Lisbon with tons of little shops and walking distance from many sites, including the Rio Tejo, the Praça de Comerçio, all kinds of shops a d countless restaurants ans cafés. We would stay again but for a longer stay would upgrade to an in-room bath (personal preference).

I booked online for a main floor room but didn't get one. I don't know if this was a website issue or missed by the Pensâo.

The property is old, small and a little tired but the greeting was friendly and the staff were helpful. We booked the largest room/suite and though still small, did appreciate having a lounge to sit on. A continental breakfast was included. On first arriving at the property by Uber, we could not see it and the street did not look like it housed a hotel. There is a single door at street level to access the property, which is half-way up a hill. The location is close to restaurants and has old-fashioned trams running along it.

Stairs are fine for us but be aware that there is no lift and everything is upstairs. The chap who handled breakfasts was a rather glum and non-communicative fellow, but he was efficient.

The pension was simple and basic. Very central and easy access to metros and restaurants. The price was very good and reflected the facilities in the pension. My expectations were not high for the price but it was adequate, staff helpful and met the need.

My room was four floors up. It was very noisy at night. Fine if you are planning on being out and joining the party scene but not good for us oldies that want some comfort and quiet. It says what it us on the tin and for the price who can't grumble. Basic, good location and great value for money. Receptionist helpful and booked a taxi for me.

Amazing location, the neighbourhood is actually full of emigrants who work in different shops (food, souvenirs) and all the people there were nice. I felt safe in this neighbourhood and don’t understand a lot of comments that say otherwise.

There are 6 rooms per elevation and only 2 bathrooms, so you may have to wait in line sometimes, but it wasn’t a huge problem for me. The rooms were nice and relatively clean, just a little bit dusty.

I had booked 2 stays at each end of a weekend in Portugal. The fist time I had upgraded to a better room (with shower), and room was OK - a little basic with no chair to sit at so used the bed. The shower had recently been upgraded and had a good showerhead. My worry was the bare wires still protruding from the old one. Although not the properties fault, there was building work going on in an adjacent property from 8am to 6pm which spoiled the quiet nature of the room. My second visit I decided not to do the upgrade and was appointed a front of building room, no toilet or shower, but there was washbasin and bidet. My concern with this room was the bed was right under the window, and I did come home with a cold, which may or not be attributable to this room. The floors of both rooms and the stairs were wooden which looked lovely. However you heard EVERY step of someone coming up and down the stairs. The property was very centrally located and only 2 minutes from a main Metro station. However you get what you pay for and it is a good place if you are using it as a base for your visit.

Soundproofing and some kind of floor-covering for the stairs would have improved the stay

For the price I paid, this hotel was perfect for what I required to stay a few nights. The privacy of my own room was great! The 4th floor shower (on the left) was nice! It had great pressure and got warm/hot if needed! Being walking distance to all the action downtown was fantastic. The room was very clean, the towels and bed sheet smelt and looked clean and the bed wasn't too bad for comfort. I was very happy there was a fan provided in the room as is got pretty warm on the top floor! I slept through breakfast both days I was there, so I have no comment on it. I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for good first experience in Lisbon!

Wifi was spotty on the 4th floor. That was honestly about it. Other than that, I had no complaints.

Slightly down market but this was reflected in the price. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom facilities were very good. I paid €6 for breakfast and this was good value for money getting a pot of coffee and a good selection of pastries with no limit on what you ate.

On a very busy main road so traffic throughout the night. The windows were good so they kept out most of the noise.

Hello, I have stayed at Pensao Residencial at few times. I stop here to catch a quick break before going onto my house. It is very pleasant, I like the atmosphere of the place, It's both peaceful and busy at the same time. The narrow street outside even has the 28 Tram going past.
