Loved that I had my own room but also shared spaces to meet new people. All shared roomes (kitchen, outside, bathrooms) were super clean! Room as well but I made my own mess haha. Room got cleaned halfway during my stay. Bed was comfortable. For 2 larger people a bit cozy but the airconditioning made it sleep able. Kitchen had everything!! Even a blender, was very excited about that. Location is also perfect, close to a large supermarket, 10 minutes to the center of Faro. The price was also very reasonable!

It’s self check in, personally I love chatting face to face when checking in and asking for recommendations. However check in was still very smooth, and I think if I wanted recommendation I could’ve send a message.. Host was also very friendly and regularly checked up if my stay was oke.

Very clean. I had an en suite but the other washrooms looked very clean and the kitchen, should you choose to use it, very well equipped. Close to the centre and also near an Auchan -turn left out of building and right at the top of the street, then a short walk. Lots of interesting produce there to buy loose - nuts, spices, dried fruits. Bus terminal 10 minutes walk. Number 16 to airport €2.50 one way. Check out bus times online. Train station short distance from bus. There was a train strike while I was there so I took the bus to Lagos - I would not recommend to go to Lagos by bus - it took nearly 3 hours each way in low season. Loulé OK on bus. Went to Tavira on train. Tavira most worth visiting of the three additional places I went to, the train goes past Rua Formosa and flamingos were visible (only there Nov-March). The Inn at Faro is in a great location. Near lots of good restaurants and the main city centre. I would return. I requested a hairdryer in advance and it was in the room. BBC Entertainment a chanel on the TV too which was a nice to have. There was nothing that could be improved on.

We enjoyed the clean shared kitchen, super cozy common guest area with a terrace and, of course, our room! The bed mattress and pillows were very comfy. In general, it was quiet in the room. But we kept the windows closed since it was a bit cold outside during the nights, so no idea about the noise level when the windows are open. The host was very responsive and kind, and answered our requests very fast.

The only thing we disliked was the light in the bathroom: it switched on when someone moved. And sometimes it happened that one was taking a shower, and after some time the light went off. So one had to wave with hands to make the light on again. The best option would be to have a switcher for the bathroom light.

We liked the location, it was was five minutes walk into the square where all the restaurants were, but if you wanted to cook there was a fabulous kitchen which was spotlessly clean with every thing you needed. I cannot fault this wonderful guest house it was spotlessly clean in all areas, and Joal gave us a text to welcome us and to see if we were satisfied with our room, which was absolutely perfect. We would definitely recommend to others and we would certainly return. The guest house is truly a little gem.

There was nothing not to like.

Very nice quiet cozy place. It was a low season and I completely enjoyed the stay, sometimes I thought I was alone :) Everything is clear, there is a fully equipped kitchen (probably better than my own at home 😉) and a very nice common area. I really like the self check in and check out. Everything was explained very clearly so it was easy to check even after midnight with the late flight. Thank you so much!

I had an great stay at this guest house! The location was superb — right in the center, just a 10-minute walk to the marina and only 4 minutes to the nearest supermarket. All the main attractions were within walking distance, which made exploring the city so easy and enjoyable. The room was spotless and well-prepared, and communication with the host was outstanding. Joel was super helpful and very accommodating — I arrived earlier than check-in time, but they kindly let me store my luggage in the guest house. The room was cleaned quickly, and I received a prompt message as soon as it was ready. The kitchen was huge and fully equipped, perfect for preparing meals or storing food in the fridge and drawers. I especially loved the little terrace, which you could access right from the kitchen — a lovely spot to relax. Overall, this guest house combined convenience and warm hospitality. It is great for solo traveller!

The only two downsides for me were the single bed — comfortable enough, but it really makes the place better suited for a solo traveller — and the very small shower cabin. I’m quite slim and tall, so I managed fine, but anyone broader might find it difficult to fit comfortably.

Location was good. Walkable to the center, also close to a supermarket. We loved the rooftop terrace, a big shared kitchen and also the living room. Our room was nice, pretty big, there was air conditioning which is a big plus. Definitely coming again, as it was my second time. The staff was very nice and always responding to questions. The whole property was very clean.

Our room was next to the shared kitchen. Sometimes it was noisy in the morning. But thats all what we would point out here.

Joel (your contact, the owner or manager) responded quickly to my queries, and he is polite, kind, and helpful, just like the cleaners. The double room I booked (with an external shared toilet and shower) was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfy. It was calm and quiet despite being the corner room on the ground floor (with another room attached from each side of my room and my windows opening to the street). I couldn't hear much noise from other guests or the street. Shared toilets and showers are clean and fresh. I did not use the communal kitchen much (only to fill my water bottles), but it is spacious. A small courtyard sitting/smoking terrace is next to the kitchen, and there is a roof terrace if you want to chill inside the premises.

Everything was as expected. On the last night of my stay, I could not find the light switch for the kitchen, so we used the space in darkness. Two other guests were looking for the switch, too. However, this is not a negative or any issue; I am just curious about where it was. :)

The central location and the room were were great! The whole guest house was clean and very well designed. There are a lot of common spaces, including a terrace, a cozy living room, and a kitchen with everything you may need (coffee makers, stove, dishes and pans, toaster..) The room has enough storage space, a table and a window with proper light-blocking curtains

The showers and bathrooms are shared, but are perfectly clean, always available and are right by the room. Would also be lovely to have two blankets in the double room available, as we only had one.

Easy to get in, the room was very clean, the kitchen is well-equipped with 3 fridges, an oven, a stovepot, microwave, even a mixer can be used there. To every room belongs a wooden box in yhe kitchen where you can store dry food. The showers are clean - there could be some more shelves or hangs to put clothes on, but overall super, it can be locked. There are 2 showers in one block, there are 2 blocks that can be used.

The walls are paperthin, I could hear others blowing their nose or someone arrive at the middle of the night.
