Great location, clean and quiet. Very comfy bed!

The directions to the apartment. Too general, not specific enough in the maze of old town alleyways. Felt like being on Amazing Race. Had to get help from La strata hotel guide to actually find it after several attempts at calling failed to reach the attendant. Though someone did send a WhatsApp test message over 2 hours after we reached out in frustration. We were about 3 blocks away, give better instructions and be specific with landmarks. It is so easy to do, reduces frustration.

Perfect location right in the heart of old town. Check in process couldn’t have been easier. Clean room nicely decorated. Great experience would stay here again!

We stayed at the property for 5 nights and were given no clean towels.

The location was just perfect and the communication went very well. I really missed tea kettle but I asked for it and got it. Such small things like being able to make a cup of tea and iron clothes makes a great difference, especially if you are there for work and all the cafés are closed early in the morning so it was important to make your own cup of tea. I think if Dot Rooms could offer these small things their ratings would be much higher!

All was good, but as I wrote above it could be good with an iron and tea kettle, but fortunatelly I got mine when I asked for it, so all was fine.

We were really impressed with DOT rooms. The decor was simple but lovely and everything was functional. I have never stayed in a 2 star hotel and thought I would miss coffee facilities but the location is so fantastic, that you are surrounded by cafes for the morning and gorgeous pinxtos bars for the rest of the day. We were able to walk everywhere from DOT rooms: it is so ideally located in the town. Finally, I corresponded with Adrian through WhatsApp and he was very helpful with checking in instructions and prompt with replies. There re more expensive hotels in San Sebastián but DOT Rooms had everything we needed and I would definitely stay here again for a short stay.

The location was AMAZING! Literally in the middle of Old Town and every restaurant was less than a five minute walk away. The check in was super easy and the host, was super efficient at responding via what’s app to any questions we had. He even booked us a taxi to the airport when we checked out. The TV was smart meaning we spent a lot of time relaxing with Netflix or the olympics which was honestly a highlight after we’ve been travelling for 6 weeks. We would step outside our apartment get a gelato literally next door than walk to the stairs less than 2 minutes away for a dip in the ocean. We loved it! The bed and pillows was 10/10 and one of the comfiest we’ve had in Europe. We would book again.

The room is very small and the bathroom was even smaller. We did have a balcony so we could stretch outside when we needed space. When we stayed there it was unusually warm and humid weather, 30 plus degrees Celsius everyday with 80% plus humidity. The room does not have air conditioning, however there is a fan. For the first two out of three nights this was adequate as we could sleep with the doors open because there was open shutters to provide airflow. It’s probably important to note for anyone whose body runs warm, on the third night it was super hot and my partner and I didn’t get any sleep as a result. We knew there wasn’t any air conditioning so it was expected. But just something to think about if you are a hot and sweaty person like us.

The location is absolutely incredible, right in the Old Town, can hear the bells from the Basilica. This does mean it can be a little bit loud when the doors are open, but worth it for the location. Room was very clean, very comfortable and nicely furnished. A great stay.

Only thing is to bring ear plugs! It was quite warm that weekend so we had to sleep with the doors open. Also, we didn't realise that it wasn't a hotel with reception, just a key code you're given on arrival.

Great location right in La Parte Vieja. Very responsive staff, easy checkin and in-out access. Clean, plenty of room, good heat and hot water. Great value for pricey San Sebastián.

It is a pensión, after all, so furnishings while adequate are minimal. No glassware, coffeemaker, bottled water, or extra toiletries beyond toilet paper and soap. No housekeeping. Two small towels. But we didn’t mind. It was well worth it, and plenty of shops close by to grab anything you need.

It was in a fantastic location in the old town, very clean and although It was a shared bathroom, It was very clean and never in use when I needed It.

The walls were paper thin. You could hear absolutely everything from a sneeze to a conversation and unfortunately I was on the 1st floor so the 2nd floor above me was so noisy. I understand it’s an old building but not getting sleep made for a hard stay.

The location; close to everything to see and do in San Sebastián.

The key lock for the front door gave me anxiety; difficult to open. Although I understand the motion sensitive lighting in the hallways is a savings in electricity, the lights do not stay on very long when one is in front of a door trying to open it: room door and floor door- floor 2.

Great location in old town but in a quiet corner, didn't have issues with any noise from the area. Room is very spacious and the bed is really comfortable!

The walls are thin so you'll hear your immediate neighbours entering their hotel rooms. There isn't staff on site so you can't leave your bags with them or ask for small things like hot water.
