I recently had the pleasure of staying at a surprising design hotel in the heart of Florence. Part of the Ferragamo Lungarno group and just steps from the Ponte Vecchio, this hotel is a true haven for fashionistas. My room was an intimate and cozy snug, with a spacious bathroom. However, it might be a bit tight for two people. I was fortunate to be on the alley side and slept soundly throughout my four-night stay. The white room and relax lounge on the first floor were another one of those hidden treasures. Perfect tranquil havens in hectic Florence for a short break. From check-in to turndown service and departure, the staff made me feel like a VIP. They were the true stars of the hotel – professional, personable, and incredibly friendly. When my wallet was unfortunately pickpocketed, they went above and beyond to offer assistance. While the hotel's rooftop was closed for the winter, the rooftop at its sister hotel across the way was a hidden gem with amazing views. I'm already looking forward to returning soon. This is a gem in the heart of Florence.

Absolutely fantastic staff: helpful, thoughtful, friendly, gave local tips, remembered details about me and my stay, they were attentive providing items I needed right away when I asked for them (iron and board, bucket of ice). Room itself was gorgeous, stylish and the best was incredibly comfortable. Location was also great and I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to see. Even their rooftop bar was lovely: a bit crowded and, of course, spendy, but tasty drinks and bites they were better than some of the restaurants I had visited earlier. Overall, one of the better hotels I’ve visited in my travels.

This is minor relative to all the other great things about the hotel: I purchased free breakfast and its presentation was great, but selection was ordinary. I went one day, then opted to find local brunches and breakfasts instead.

Spectacular service, very attentive, polite, helpful, responsive and accommodating. Brilliant location, comfortable rooms, beautiful decor.

The breakfast spread was pretty mediocre, and add ons like eggs and porridge had to be paid for. The hotel didn’t have much by way of facilities. The spa was closed for refurbishment, and the rooftop bar was also closed. There was no other cafe or bar within the hotel.

Breakfast was in sister hotel a few steps over the road. Pleasant staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. From front desk to the cleaning service Beds and pillows and linens excellent. Could not be in a better place and even though we were on the Ponte Vecchio the rooms are quiet. I will be back!!

The Front Desk staff/ manager and bellman were the best I have experienced in Europe. They were not only friendly and helpful to a fault but they genuinely were sincere in trying to help guests feel right at home. I will go back in a heart beat.

Beautiful hotel in fantastic location, near to all the main sights in Florence. Our room was relatively small but was appointed beautifully with stylish decor and furniture. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. We visited the sister hotels located nearby for dinner/drinks and would highly recommend both. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the delights of Florence.

Nothing to dislike

One night stay before moving to an apartment so I chose a small single room. It was very small but incredibly well designed and extremely clean with the most comfy bed and black out shades. Breakfast was directly across parking area in sister hotel and very nice. oddly, I recommend the American coffee rather than espresso. Location is perfect.

Gluten free options and more fruit would be nice. Pineapple allergy kept me away from fruit salad which typically isn’t great.

It was a last minute stay due to a cancellation of my flight. The staff made me feel extremely welcome and I am very happy to have discovered the Hotel. The facilities for people who have checked out but not yet left Firenze have been well thought out and confirm the Hotel's sense of hospitality and respect for guests. I will definitely return.

the hotel is in a great location close to everything and very easy to access the staff is very friendly overall and helpful.

the beds specially the mattress. horrible. my body hurt so bad. I love a firm mattress but thus seemed like a cheap mattress that has seen it's last days years ago. they really need to fix that.

brilliant location for seeing the sights, a view of the Arno, super comfortable room and bed, excellent accessibility apart from a few steps between the foyer and elevator. delicious breakfast next door.

beware if your room looks over the river, the street stays noisy for much of the night. In wet weather, having to cross over the square to the sister hotel for breakfast could be tiresome?
