Breakfast was absolutely superb. An incredible amount of food to choose from: cakes and pastries, yogurts and fruit, cereal, meats and cheeses, juices, hot drinks, and of course a breakfast menu of hot dishes. Location was excellent, right in the centre so close by to everything but on a quiet street so not kept up by loud sounds outside. Super close to the train station too. Staff were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much that we paid for an extra night, and the staff were kind enough to let us stay in the same room. Hotel is exceptional. Way fancier than I ever imagined. Beautiful artwork in the room as well as around the hotel. Each room is named after a famous Italian, which I thought was a really nice touch. Great amenities, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, hairdryer, bath robe, shower cal, tweezers, nail file, as well as cotton buds and pads! Rooms are incredibly spacious. High ceilings and beautiful furniture. The bathroom is wonderful, modern, with warm water and heated towel rack. As we went in January, it was a little nippy at night. Heating wasn't super great as it's a large room, however big fluffy blankets are kept in the wardrobe which were very cosy and kept us warm at night.

Heating in the room could be better excellent blankets are provided in every room which was more than enough to keep us warm at night! (Went in January otherwise I imagine Florence is very warm!)

Location is AMAZING. Staff is eloquent and friendly, helpful- perfect combination of what a tourist might need. U honestly cannot beat this location for the price point! And the added breakfast is a charming value add, my daughter really enjoyed it:)

To be honest, i think at the price point they exceeded my expectations and considering the location and their great staff, i would def choose to stay here again when i visit florence. And i have been to atleast 4 other hotels and this one def is the best so far, thank you for the safe and pleasant stay!

The personnel were all friendly and professional. The front desk staff made excellent recommendations for lunch and dinner. Luan, in the breakfast area, was fantastic. Helped with our bags, made a terrific cappuccino and asked about our adventures every day. The room was beautiful. We had a Jr. suite and the size was perfect. Lovely seating area and a nice spa tub. Location was great, just around the corner from the big sites.

The air conditioning could have been stronger. The air was vented straight up, which means it was trapped behind the curtains. We were able to jerry-rig a “deflector” to push the AC out in to the room.

The breakfast room had a marvelous, old renaissance ceiling. There were many different varieties of specialty coffee to choose from and lots of sweets. The location was easy to get to. The free guided tour was the crown jewel of our stay.

Perfect location, central to everything. It's a very nice hotel. Mostly remodeled. Breakfast was very good, and the breakfast staff was exceptional. I liked that we could easily stop into our room at various times of the day since the location was so good.

The room could have been a bit larger. The AC worked well, but you had to turn it off at night as the adjustments made the room too cold. It's wasn't a big deal though.

The location was perfect. Off the Main Street in the tourist area, and sites, near train station, bus station. This enables taking day trips to other towns, tours.. The breakfast menu was great. Staff personable, helpful, accommodating.

All was good

The property is very centrally located: four blocks from the central train station (and a 20 minute tram to the airport for about $2.00) and 2 1/2 blocks from Il Duomo. The room was very quiet and the front desk extremely helpful. A large breakfast is served every morning, including the usual spread of meats, fruits, cereals, and pastries. In addition, there are several hot dishes and several coffees made to order. The dining room staff is equally friendly. (One thing to note: Florence charges an occupancy tax of approximately $4.00 per person per night. If you pre-pay your hotel, this charge will be collected on checkout.)

Location was easy to get to from anywhere we were in Florence. Breakfast was sumptuous…wish we could have taken advantage of it more, but needed to get to a scheduled Uffizi entry. The room, though small, was well appointed, clean, and well air conditioned (much needed this August!) Front desk service was wonderful, and very accommodating with our bags before our checkin and even after our checkout.
