The staff at the reception are great and were very helpful. I need an extension because of the Grampian's fire and was able to get it. The hotel itself is good for the money and there is plenty of personal space. The pool being indoor was also great for our girls, they liked the privacy. Lot of space for our pet dog too and it was easy to just walk him outside so he can do his business.

The motel could use some up keep here and there but not a deal breaker. Our room was not cleaned during our stay even with the sign on. Overall, things were mostly positive.

They allowed pets in certain room for a small fee. The room and carpet was clean - no animal fur or smells, clean bathroom as well. They provided a small kitchenet which was just enough for us to get by. The room was spacious. We were late to checkin, but they were so kind to contact us, followed up with a message and the keys were in the room waiting for us. Easy check in, easy check out.

The smallest of complaint... The place looked like it was stuck in the 70s. This place could look like a million bucks with a small facelift, but having said that, it didn't ruin our experience. Also, doors need better locks.

The staff were lovely. From the reception team to the wait staff in the accompanying restaurant. Even the cleaning staff were lovely. Across the board. Felt looked after. Great location. Easy to find. Facilities were kept very clean (Astetic dated, but again kept very clean). Big grassy area outdoor (shared) We only booked last minute, and I have zero regrets. Joy at reception was super accommodating. We brought our dog with us (The venue has about 3 pet friendly rooms) very spacious. The food in the restaurant was affordable and absolutely delicious. Refreshing to experience a great waitress who knows the menu well and went above and beyond. Thanks for having us. We would definitely stay again & for longer.

That we only stayed one night and couldn't eat more from the menu.

It was all that we needed, (warm, clean comfortable), in a short stay and was able to accommodate the 4 of us.

It would have been nice if the heating had been turned on before we arrived as it did take some time for it to heat up, as it was exceptionally cold. I had booked that day online, so it seemed like they weren't aware of my booking until I arrived, which may have been why the room wasn't warm on arrival (?).

Great spacious room, perfect for our family. It was freezing outside, but the electric blanket and heat pump were fantastic. The indoor pool was ideal for a rainy day. The location is excellent, with Lazy Moe’s right next door. It’s too bad we missed out on trying Fat Chef; we'll have to stay again and definitely check out the restaurant next time.

Rain but that out of the venues control

The Manager was very welcoming and went above and beyond with help as we arrived early and he checked us in so we could get ready for our function. Later when we got back we needed help in our room and he was there within 5 mins and asked if there was anything else he could do he was kind and looked after his customers. He has only been there for 6 months please keep up the good work. Thank you or making our stay more comfortable

Nothing that I can think of.

Rooms are a little dated but very clean, and the beds were very comfy. Pool towels supplied is such a win. The pool and BBQ area are great, too. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

A cupboard door wouldn't shut properly and the bathroom door needed a tweak so it would stay shut without having to slam it.

Staff are very helpful and friendly, rooms are huge, lots of storage space and handy little kitchenette type area, bathroom's are nice and some rooms with a bath/spa! Heater works well in room. The indoor heated pool and spa is amazing!! I'm yet to try the attached restaurant but I've heard nothing but good things about it! Seriously wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else in Ballarat anymore 10/10 !!

The following mentioned things arent complaints TV'S are basic plasmas, shower heads aren't the greatest nor the worst, pressures good to but a removable shower head would make it perfect 👌

Nice and clean loved the shower water so soft.

The fridge/freezer door would shut so had to get down on my knees and get a knife and chisel all built up ice away so that the fridge door would shut properly. It would be good if cleaning staff could check this sort of thing when cleaning each room. Meal was delivered to room in a box and only was given a steak knife and no fork, walked over to get a fork but was given a wooden fork to eat our steak with and had to complain to management to give a proper fork to eat with. The meal was lovely but by the time the Dian sauce sunk into the cardboard we felt like we were eating porterhouse steak and cardboard for tea.

Entry door mat needed cleaning. Ashtray outside door left full of cigarette butts. Garden areas need an upgrade - leaves swept up, weeds removed etc.
