Location is good. Exit from Lugano train station (go towards platform 4A, until the very end exit to the road, walked another 2 min will reach the hotel). Buffet bfast at CHF10 is good.

the pillow is too soft, heater is not so warm.

The staff were very friendly, the location was excellent (very close to the train station), breakfast was decent and it was very clean. When we came back after a long day of mountain biking to collect our bags the member of staff working was super friendly, gave us some snacks and got us water. There was a safe location to store our bikes.

It would be nice if there was some more shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom. There were two tiny sachets which is ok but not really enough to wash your hair and body. This is a minor complaint - we were traveling very light and didn't bring many toiletries with us.

The two men on the front desk were super friendly. They have one small step at the front door then a ramp inside. They helped us up the front step in the wheelchair but the ramp being moved may be more suitable for many. The room was very spacious and had a lovely balcony looking onto the street. Railway station is not far but it is up hill to the hotel from the station. Nearby things close especially on a Sunday so be prepared. Lovely big bathroom.

I did not like the leaving the key when you went out. I understand they do not want to loose keys but leaving the key would mean anyone could access the room. As we were a group of five only staying one night this did not cause us an issue.

The location for the train station is excellent. The pillows were very flat with no option of a second pillow. I got around that by simply folding it over. I think maybe it’s a European thing It was pretty noisy in the surrounds - this is not the fault of the hotel

The location was ideal, in close proximity to the train station, at less than 5 minutes on foot. It was also located nearby to other restaurants in the area, which are cheaper for those being budget conscious and not necessarily wishing to go to the old city centre. The receptionist was very friendly and was immediately welcoming. The room itself was a pleasant surprise, as it was large, well illuminated and spacious.

The only "negative point" is that the rooms don't appear to be soundproofed against noise in the hallways. Any footsteps, conversations or other noise could easily be heard through the door and could disturb one's sleep.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful during check in. Our rooms were comfortable. It is a short walk from the train station and the main part of Lugano and lake is a short funicular ride. We used the free transportation passes provided at checkin.

There is not much to do or places to eat by the hotel. You can not really walk to much from the hotel besides the train station.

The location was ideal for train travellers as it was a short walk from the train station. Breakfast was very good value with many options. The room was large and spacious with a balcony.

The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the railway station. Gabrielle from the front desk was extremely helpful and accommodated our requests.

The quantity of the bath gel sachets was insufficient. It would have been more efficient and environmentally friendly to provide the gel in a single soap dispenser instead of multiple plastic sachets with tiny amounts of gel.

The property is very clean and it was a short walk from the nearby city parking lot.

Breakfast is expensive and there are limited options within walking distance. Most of the cafes and other restaurants are a significant walk with hills. We opted to leave early and stop for breakfast on our drive. This was fine since we only stayed one night.

Amazing experience staying at hotel casa peron. The location is perfect, it’s just a few minutes walk to/from train station and also a bus to the centre right outside the house. Perfect location especially if you train around as accomodation right in the centre you would have to walk up a lot of stairs to the station. Breakfast was great, staff were lovely. The room was nice and quite. Biggest Bonus was getting a travel card and being able to take trains in busses around the area for free! Would highly recommend staying here and would come again.

A kettle in the room would have been nice addition but not a necessity.
