Comfortable bed in spacious room with good view over the Albert Dock. Good pillows and bed linen. Conference facilities were very good and the catering was excellent. Great location. Good choice of food at breakfast

Charging £2.00 for a can of water in the room was mean- the room wasn’t cheap. Both TV and hairdryer were not functioning- these should have been checked before arrival. Bath towels were worn and thin. No freshly ground decaffeinated coffee at breakfast- really? No excuse for this. Taxi ordering service machine in the foyer enabled pay in advance Uber booking- all fine and convenient, until a fee of £4.50 was added right at the end before payment. This was 50% of the ride cost- I felt ripped off. I didn’t see any warning of this on the machine. All of these small things matter and spoil what could have been an excellent stay.

It’s a Hilton. It has all you expect from the chain, including the sense of familiarity from having a standard setting all over the world. The bedding was -very- comfortable, as were the pillows, the room was quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was supremely convenient.

Small details: - I don’t care much that there was no fridge, but at least don’t leave the cupboard as if it had been removed 10 minutes earlier; - If there’s a shoe shine machine near the lifts, make sure it works. - No free shower cap?! I’ve been in places all over the world, and I’ve always received one. Even in Kazakhstan, Southern Thailand or Rwanda. - The reason I didn’t rate higher than 8: it’s an improvement to have added a device that allows for induction charging near the bed, with a USB-A and a USB-C port. But guess what? It’s not enough in this day and age. At least add another one on the other bedside table.

The hotel is perfectly located, and having been to university in the city, I always longed to come back and stay at this hotel. I met my expectations, had a great time, and honestly, I don't have many complaints. While there is room for improvement, I truly enjoyed my stay and would return here again, as it is right in the centre of the city, close to everything, and the facilities are excellent.

Two things that can be improved upon: - The Air con leaves a lot to be desired. Both nights we stayed here, the room got pretty warm at night, basically waking up all covered in sweat. I felt like we had a poor performing fan in the room rather than an AC. - The bedding had a few questionable stains. We understand that keeping white bedding white for a long time can be hard, so we just didn't use the two pillows that had some stains.

Lovely, spacious & clean room Ice machine near room. Good choice at breakfast ice water available during the day in reception.

Didn’t like form given on check to complete details of the second person in the room who Was classed as my quest. My guest was my husband of 49 years & I was asked what relationship he was to me. Who ever my guest was what does it matter what the relationship is? Car keys taken without explanation. This made me feel uncomfortable. I understand names being taken, but relationship isn’t relevant as many people live together without getting married.

Breakfast was excellent so much choice, our room was lovely (although I did think I was getting a bathrobe and slippers but was told that was an executive room but we had all the other amenities for an executive so not sure re that) also one down point was their was tiles broken in our bathroom and the door hinge was broken which we reported on our next day but although they said was going to fix they didn't but the rooms were lovely and roomy and the large long windows was a lovely treat when we walked in at night and see everything lit up. The beds were the best I had ever slept in the comfiness was exception and the pillows I would have liked to have taken home. The bar had live entertainment which was great Saturday night so we stayed in the bar., The location is the best we were on top of everything everything in walking distance and it looks impressive when you look at the hotel.

There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel and would definitely love to come back

The staff were ALL really approachable and helpful, especially Jamie on Reception and a very friendly older Liverpool lady in the bar/restaurant. Breakfast was a very attractive spread but please see next note. The food in the restaurant/bar was excellent, tasty and piping hot. The bathroom was spotless on arrival.

The 'hot' food at breakfast was luke-warm to cold, even though we arrived before 8 a.m. This is probably due to the heating or 'warmers' being inefficient. Carpets and walls in the corridors and rooms are looking dowdy and used. The prices in the bar and restaurant did not encourage us to spend more time there.

Our whole experience was just perfect ! Our rooms were spacious , spotless and bright. The bed was sumptuous , the bedding of the highest quality and we all had a perfect night's sleep. The bathroom was gorgeous with lovely products and towels. There was nothing we could fault. The location was excellent , handy for shops , restaurants and the Albert Docks , all within walking distance. There are no words to describe the breakfast ! We were all blown away by the quality , choice , service and while experience .

The only criticism we had was the bar prices , where a round of 5 drinks cost £61 !! We would have loved to stay in the beautiful bar area for longer , but chose to go elsewhere for drinks .

Excellent central location, buses, trains, attractions, restaurants all within walking distance. All staff very friendly and courteous. Airport link bus right outside door.

Room very good but with some maintenance issues, broken desk lamp, safe locking mechanism detached from safe, only one chair and that felt liable to collapse at any time. The view from the room impressive so a table to sit around in the evening would be a nice addition. Information regarding parking poor, ended up booking parking through Q-Park. Rang the hotel (I think) to enquire but the operator was quite dismissive saying they did not handle parking. On arriving at the hotel I was informed the hotel do in fact subsidise parking charges which would have reduced my parking costs considerably. The hotel website does not CLEARLY outline steps required for the parking discount, if it does it is overly complicated.

I have stayed at the Hilton several times, primarily due to its central location and easy parking at nearby Liverpool One. Was pleasantly surprised by the staff at reception who gave me a free upgrade to a corner room. This was very welcome, although sadly it came with problems mentioned below. All in all another decent stay.

Corner suite heating wasn't working on one of the coldest nights of the year. Brrrrr. A blind was missing from the bathroom which means that John Lewis staff can see you on the loo or getting in/out of the shower! By the way, if you're thinking about having a conference or event here, go elsewhere. The C&E staff here, with the exception of a couple of very junior staff, are not interested in your business and you will get better customer service at other venues.

No hot chocolate in the room for my 11yr old I did ask as he doesn’t drink tea or coffee 🙄 when I replied to the message asking how my room was I didn’t getting a response, ask for still water as there were just sparkling water in the room… no response (via text) However when asked for anything staff were attentive!!
