Perfect location when visiting London as it’s just next to Kings Cross. The hotel is located in a quiet street, full of other hotels and safe to walk at night. The room was small but had everything you need when you spend all day outside exploring the city. Its perfect to rest and sleep. If you are staying more than one night, they offer to do the cleaning each day. You should let them down every day. The staff was kind and offered to keep our luggage when we did the check out. Unfortunately we had already booked a place to leave them. But will keep this in mind for the next time.

If you are a light sleeper, you might want to take some earplugs as you can hear people walking on the upper floors, going up and down the stairs, etc. However, you don’t get any of the outside noises which is great. If you are a large person, you might want to consider staying here due to the small bathroom and shower but it worked fine for us. Good water pressure and quantity. The bedscarf had stains so we removed immediately. The bedsheets could be changed as we’ve found some marks on them. But these were the only two negative points. Overall, it’s a very good place quality/price hotel and I would stay here next time I visit London.

We have been to several hotels in this part of London in the past 10+ years, and this was not the cheapest, but the best one so far Overall in good state Clean, good daily room maintenance (inluding fresh water and tea) Quiet room although in the centre of London Good bathroom ventilation We would come here again

No breakfast option We are used to tight space in London, but someone with limited mobility might have problems using the bathroom - especially using the toilet reminds on a “3D-tetris“ Only a detail: Invoice is not sent as a file but via link to a website – i.e., extra conversion necessary plus risk of external link

The location of the hotel which is close to the central part of London is a big plus for somebody who wants to visit London offering good metro and bus connections to all parts of the city. The price offered for this hotel is unbeatable for someone that just wants to visit the city and crash in the bed at the end of the day.

For me there are no negatives since we were not a couple that need huge space accommodations in order to visit a city but for other people the Georgian style of the rooms, meaning small, might be a huge negative but that depends on what type of tourist that you are.

Very good location, near King's Cross/St Pancras Station. Despite being conveniently close to train, bus and tube links, the hotel is surprisingly quiet, and we slept well. Our clean and comfortable room overlooked a small park which was delightful. Reception staff were polite and helpful, and they have a room for luggage storage which they accept before and after your stay. All in all, as good as you'll get in London for the price. We'd be happy to stay there again.

The room was very small. This is to be expected in central London - frequently a small bedroom has a chunk taken out for a tiny bathroom. If you want space, you must pay more or go further out!

The location

The staffs are great only one person who work night shift on the 10th of July. I totally understand not everyone is friendly and happy. But I went down to ask for water. I did said excuse me may I have a water please. She looked at me like I beg her money or something. Rolled her eyes and she can’t even stand up and walk to the fridge. She still sit on the chair and rolled that chair to the fridge. The reaction was ridiculous. No smile is ok but I did not deserved that reaction at all. And my apologies if I disturbed her work.

The location was excellent, and the room was small- but very clean and designed well. The staff was also helpful. The reviews were a bit negative and a few mentioned the small size of the room. But for a solo traveller or a couple I thought it was more than adequate. And a 10 min walk to the Eurostar train was a dream.

Don't leave water bottles in the room to drink and then say you'll charge £10 each for them if we do, it's petty and makes you look like you dont care about the guests. Either offer cheaper plastic bottles or don't leave them at all.

The room and ensuite was clean, everything you need is there, even lovely hot power shower! The bed was comfortable and suited us for the 2-day stay. The hotel is only about 5 walk to Kings Cross/St Pancreas, even managed the walk to Shaftsbury Avenue (about 40 mins, and why we were there in the first place). We requested adjoining rooms for ease, the hotel accommodated this request which was great.

The room available was small and compact and so was the ensuite, but this is not a complaint, it's what you expect for the price you pay and London is expensive. In one of the rooms, there is an outdoor light which is permanently on, they will need to ensure the room has adequate blackout blinds. The extractor fan did stay on longer than expected, but did eventually turn off (these concerns were raised to reception). I think there is a lift (but not certain), the stairwells are a bit tight, if you have large luggage it's a bit difficult to navigate.

Location is perfect, about 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross, 10 from Euston stations meaning all of London is easily accessible via Underground. Bed is very cozy and comfortable, shower had hot water and strong pressure and rooms made up/towels refreshed daily. Polite and friendly staff.

Some practical considerations just need to be taken into account. The rooms can be very small, and it can be quite easy to hear walking and talking from adjacent rooms. As a larger built person, the room I had was sometimes awkward to navigate especially as bathrooms can also be very small. So, space can get tight. Also in the public spaces as well. Room storage is adequate. However, the main thing is this is an affordable, convenient and most importantly, clean, hotel that should serve most people’s needs.

Have stayed at Angus a few times over the years. It is a simple, budget-friendly place if you need to be near St. Pancras or King's Cross stations and don't mind a place with fairly tight space. Recently stayed here for a few nights, all went as well, similar to my past experiences at Angus Hotel. Room reservation was made through booking.com, received confirmation through email immediately. Was nicely received upon arrival, there is luggage storage space available and a nice reception staff. Check-in was pretty quick. Room is small and basic but gets the important things right. Bed takes up a large portion of the room space. Mattress is comfortable so easy to sleep well. There is good room lighting, flatscreen TV mounted on the wall. Wifi works very well. Fan, hair dryer, safe, kettle all fitted nicely. Small desk and chair as well as space to hang a few clothing items. Good space under the bed to store larger luggage and bags.

Bathroom is tiny, just enough space for toilet, sink and shower, little room for movement. Something to think about for those with mobility issues. Otherwise, beyond the tight space, everything worked just fine.

The location to King's Cross is fantastic, just across the road basically. So connections to the underground were perfect for our trip. The building is quite charming and based in a square with a park in the middle which gave a nice view from the window. Although the room was compact it was perfect size for me and my 8 year old child. Bed and pillows are really comfortable. Stayed for two nights and had fresh water, towels and tea /coffee supplied both days. There was a lovely little Italians at the end of the street ( opposite train station ).

The room was sooooo warm! Although a fan is supplied its soo noisy to try and sleep with, but even with the window opened we needed the fan. I feel this also made the water warm which is kindly supplied - I would put the bottles on the balcony to keep cool. Staff were very professional but no personal approach from them which I think would of added to our London experience.
