The room was beautiful and quite large with a seating area and a separate closet and entry space. It had a gorgeous marble bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Despite being central, this was on a quiet and safe street and very close to a tube station.

We arrived in the afternoon after check-in time and departed before check-out. We did not make any requests or utilize any services. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. We were still asked to pay a service fee at check-out. When we inquired what it was for, we were told that it was for employee tips. Personally, I think hotels should be paying employees proper wages and not be asking guests to supplement their income. We are happy to tip employees for services or pay a hotel's mandatory fees that are disclosed ahead of time but not this. The fee was removed by the front desk agent without argument.

Excellent location, very close to restaurants and cafés. Less than a minute walk to Bayswater Station and around five minutes to another station. It’s also close to many popular stations. The staff were great, especially the receptionist Jehad—she spoke Arabic fluently and was very helpful. There’s a bidet spray in the bathroom, but not in all rooms, so make sure to request it when booking.

The breakfast lacks variety—only a few sweet options, tea and coffee are available, but no eggs, limited cheese selection, and very little fruits and vegetables. Also, the layout of the hotel is a bit odd. There are stairs in unexpected places, like right after opening a door. So, if you have a stroller or mobility concerns, make sure to request a room with easy access and no stairs in advance.

The room was large and lovely. Very clean. Great, quiet location near two tube stops covering 3 lines. Breakfast was nothing special, but adequate. I was surprised to see no iron/ironing board in the room. On my last night at about 11pm...the very last time I needed to enter the room, the card did not work. The front desk clerk reprogrammed it, but no luck. He finally had to get a key and let me in. As the card is needed for the lights, I was left in the dark. He thought he knew the issue and said to give him a few minutes, but I never heard from him again. I had to be up very early (still dark out) and had to shower, etc. by the light from my phone. I would stay here again, but this was a bit of disappointing end to my stay in London.

The property is in a lovely building, conveniently located fir Hyde Park/ Kensington Gardens, 2 underground stations and lots of eateries. Our room was very clean. The shower was great. The staff there are really professional, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We had a small room but it was plenty big enough for a one or two night stay.

Our room was cold with the air con but soon ok when the staff turned it off centrally. We did know in advance , but we weren’t so keen on our petite double room being in the basement.

Good price for such a good location

We were asked if we wanted to pay a discretionary service charge of £8.35 when we checked out. We did, but only because it took us by surprise. We didn't have breakfast and (unless I'm mistaken) there wasn't a bar or at least we didn't use or see one so, having already paid for the room, I'm not really sure what justifies this service charge?

Amazing location and super comfortable bed! The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was nice but needed a paint job and some general fixes to bring it to a true four star hotel. Additionally, the common spaces and bathrooms need a deep clean. If you do not want to stay in the basement, even if you opt for a larger room it will be tiny! We paid for a Superior Double Room and were told that because we requested not to stay in the basement that we would need to stay in a smaller room. If you are staying for no more than three nights or by yourself it is doable but both my partner and I were ready to leave after three nights.

Hotel is literally just on the Underground Circle line station so it had very good connection to everywhere. It is very close to Hyde park. It is also just some 15 minutes walk to the Paddington train and underground station. Hotel was really very nice, rooms were cool. Hotel was always very clean. Breakfest room is a bit small, but also so nice. I liked breakfests, but missed a bit traditional ham and eggs in "menu". Hotel staff was excelently great, very kind, helpfull and very kind again. Thank you guys.

* It was a bit colder during our stay, because the balcony doors were these of nice old wooden style, but with no sealing. * Another little thing was that it was not possible to open them to get to terrasse/balcony or to just get inside some fresh air in the morning. * you have to always wait quite a long time for warm water to flow out in the bathroom/shower.

Great location, very close to the train/metro, fantastic restaurant options and convenience store/pharmacy right around the corner. The staff were very friendly and accommodated our early check in request.

Our room was in the basement - it was marked as LG, but clearly it wasn’t - no window view, it was blurred out. I think this should have been clearly indicated, if we were to spend more time in the room, it would have been an issue. The breakfast experience wasn’t pleasant, the area was packed with guests and the food variety wasn’t great. Because of the number of people at such a short window frame, it didn’t feel clean enough either. We requested for a kid meal to be warmed up (microwaved) around 8pm and we were told this wasn’t possible. We thought this was strange for a 4 star facility.

Lovely room, fantastic shower and bathroom. Good coffee/tea facilities etc. The location is brilliant - 30 secs from Bayswater tube, 3/4mins from Queensway. Lots of good coffee/food places/bars and local shops nearby. 5mins from Hyde park. It was very clean and the staff were nice.

This was my fault - I booked last minute and in a rush so didn't realise that this isn't a hotel its like a B & B - so no bar or other communal spaces. There's a lovely terrace but it isn't really used except by people smoking. The breakfast room is too small and so is quite cramped. The breakfast is OK but could be better quality for the price.
