I was worried about this place because of the reviews, but I was pleasantly blown away. The size of the room was quite good, especially for being in such a fantastic spot in London. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was blazing hot immediately, and could be easily controlled. I liked the adjustable showerhead, the size of the bathroom, the mix of remodeled new bathroom and traditional decor and layout in the room. There was soap, really nice quality towels, and spaces to hang and place stuff. The staff was so friendly and kind. They accomodated our request for a room with limited stairs. We did get the room by the receptionist, but there is a heavy fire door right before the room door, so I didn't notice any noise from in and outgoing hotel guests. The location is fantastic for tourists because it is just a short walk to Victoria Coach Station and the underground, so you can catch tour buses and also the bus to various airports from there. Loved the location as well.

Nothing at all

It was a great stay. I read other reviews so wasn’t expecting much. But they offer facilities you no longer get with a Travelodge: soap, shower gel and a hairdryer!! The bed was super squishy. Like sleeping on a marshmallow!!! Shower was lovely.

No lift and the building it tall and narrow so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. And up again I was in room 15. There’s no plug in the sink. Looks like it’s been removed. So let’s where the tv would naturally plug in doesn’t work but the cable reaches to the desk. There only a ceiling light so I put the bathroom light on and left the door open! None of it’s a deal breaker!

The location, the staff, very basic but comfortable ensuite room; good quality bathroom, room cleaned daily; towels changed; kettle and tea/coffee provided; permanent staff presence.

The room is a bit small for three adults to move around. However, we only slept here so even the view into the pigeon inhabited courtyard did not bother us. Some wallpapers are damaged, could be renovated. On the other hand, some guests did this, not the hotel.

The woman on the desk was so lovely to the both of us, and let us leave our bags whilst we explored (as our flight was very early). The bathroom and room was very clean and this hotel is located just a 10 min walk away from Victoria station (there is a tube stop closer but was closed when we went). Thank you for a terrific stay.

The room that we were placed in first was very small, but many thanks for the move to a bigger room. If you’re staying here, go for the upgrade, it’s so worth it!

Perfect for our location. Perfect for me Mum & Daughter to stay in the 1 bedroom, not very often you get a room for 3. VERY CLEAN and VERY comfortable, we all slept well in the beds *

We hadn’t been advised it was going to be up 4 or 5? Flights of stairs! Carrying suitcases (thankfully smallish) but Mum is 77!!!! Thankfully we got her up them & the room was great - but it should be pointed out when booking.

The personal is just great! They helped us a lot, and were always there for if you needed help/advices. The location is incredible, reasonable walking distance to the centre and just in front of the hotel there’s a bus stop. The building itself is clean, quiet and comfortable, will repeat 100% sure in our next London adventure.

Took a while for water to come on in shower 25mins.🤣 Room was tiny but ideal for our needs. Bed was a bit uncomfortable Broken glass on stair case reception refused to move even though it was dangerous. Apparently, it was a cleaners job even though a hoover was sitting right next to it.

The hotel was close to the coach station which was important to us. It was close to links into the main city area. The hotel itself looked presentable and staff were welcoming. The room was perfect for what we wanted, that being somewhere to sleep. Fan provided in the room was a great asset and the bathroom was small but functional. Beds were very comfy, tea and coffee provided and space to hang things up too.

There were unfortunately only 2 plug sockets in the whole room which we found hard when trying to charge devices. This was only an issue as we relied on the devices to use maps and such things. Although credit to the hotel they did provide maps and circled where the hotel was and where to find tube stations and things.

The beds were soft, clean and rooms were tidy.

The staff were lovely but a little lack on reception duty. Having to call someone to come and check us in, then had to call again for extra tea/coffee supplies as no one was manning the desk. The staff were friendly and helpful, this was only a slight grumble.

Let’s start with the receptionist Rania who was one of the most friendliest front of house that I’ve ever come across. Very professional, talked about the local attractions, places to visit and was very knowledgeable. First impressions matter and she’s definitely a great first impression for your hotel. She was helpful throughout and I felt very comfortable with my stay at your hotel.
