As normal, Park Plaza has provided another super hotel in the centre of London, on the south bank of the Thames. 10 mins from Vauxhall Tube station which provides access to the Victoria line. lovely location on the Thames, just a short walk from the Southbank and walkable within 30 mins to the centre of London. We always enjoy a good breakfast in Park Plaza hotels, and this one didn't disappoint. We had a blocked sink which we didn't realise until we returned to the hotel at 12.30am, following a busy day in London. It was left that way before we took the room, but we hadn't realised. However a call to the concierge was followed by a maintenance visit to the room and all sorted within 20 mins! this is great service, so thank you. Its little things like this that make the difference.

The twin room we had was a little short on space, and in fact the beds where pretty much joined together. As a twin room, they should at least be separated by a couple of feet. Also only one pillow provided per bed... great for back posture but not so good for a decent night's sleep!

The hotel is walking distance to all sightseeing place. Restaurants are nearby and breakfast in the hotel is very good. The staff are friendly and accommodating

The hotel likes to use heavy perfume on the first floor to which it becomes uncomfortable to stay to talk to the staffer. I have allergies to the perfume. There are many people that are suffering from allergies that I believe the management should consider to at least reduced the scent. As I entered the hotel, I started coughing un uncontrollable that I have to wear a mask whenever I am on the first floor of the hotel.

Really good location a short walk from Waterloo and Vauxhaul. Great breakfast. Comfy bed. Reception and restaurant staff exceptionally professional and polite.

We loved our stay here and I would recommend it to anyone. Small details just would have made it perfect. Things like the hotel being a bit warm for our liking (we’re Brits, used to the cold) and the AC being quite weak. Couple of hairs in the bath tub, not having a spare loo roll in the bathroom and one of the mattresses didn’t have a cover on it (we only found when we stripped the bed sheet prior to leaving). But all in all fantastic value for money in a beautiful hotel in a prime location in London. People making the rooms up just need to pay attention to detail and it would be 10/10.

Really nice and modern hotel with all emenities that you may need. We stayed just for one night but it certainly exceeded our expectations. For this price range centrally located hotel in London, was superb! Breakfast is above other places in similar price range. Selection of food was outstanding, more than any person could need for breakfast! Hotel also located on river bank, and if you are lucky to get room to Westminster direction, evening views must be really nice/.

The only down side is closest metro stop, probably 10-15 min walking distance.

The extra facilities were good - swimming pool/sauna and spa were brilliant and loved by all the family. Great location for central London Lovely view from our room on the 16th floor overlooking the river

Reception staff were friendly but a promise of brownies and mulled wine never appeared despite telling us that they would be available in the lobby throughout the day (much to my kids and husbands disappointment) We ran out of milk and teabags and we called housekeeping twice to request but they never appeared - finally I had to go down into the lobby to request these - milk came but never any teabags. The room had a lovely view but was tired - door to the shower did not close properly and there was drawing on the wall besides the bed - both easy to remedy but looked shabby. Floor was not as clean as should have been - dust and hair evident.

- Bedroom perfect size and with both bathtube and shower - 20-25 minutes walk to BigBen, definitely an ideal location without being right in the middle of the crowd - Tasty breakfast - The online check in and check out ! I wish every hotels had that, it's so convenient. And I had the room key on my phone - Very modern set up (controls to open and close the blinds, different lights settings etc) - The gym and the pool !

- Breakfast was 25 euro each day. I opted out from cleaning my room to get a 10 euro discount that i wanted to use on the breakfast but unfortunately this discount doesn't work on breakfasts. I wish I donated this money instead. - Very noisy outside until late at night, even though i was on the 10th floor (no proper noise insulation)

Have stayed here a few times when I can get a deal. Love the mini pool, sauna and steam. Small but nice: worth checking times. Great staff- thanks to Eleanor on the desk after I arrived a bit hot and bothered. She let me use the showers in the spa whole room finalised. Thanks! Big staff and big operation. Love the riverside rooms if you can get one.

Just minor touches but quite important ones. I needed to work in my room - desk and WiFi all fine. However kettle was broken - took a while to bring one up to my room in Exec area. also shower pressure was a bit low and water not very warm. A lovely room and good stay overall- these little touches would make it superb one.

usual 4 star in London good, but predictable

Our room was not ready upon check in but we were informed that wе will get an upgraded room as an apology. We got an 2 room apartment with bathtub and panorama view over the Thames. Prior check in we also received drink coupons and free access to the rooftop lounge area. The staff is super friendly and we even got recommendations from the concierge about a tiny bistro named "The Queen's Head" where we got traditional English breakfast. The hotel is close walking distance to Big Ben, London Eye and overall city center if you enjoy long distance walks.

Only thing my wife reacted to was the seiling and floor in the bathroom, especially in the shower which needed some upgrade.

Great location for Cricket at The Oval. An easy and safe walk. Pubs and restaurants all within walking distance. Brilliant convenience store in the next block. Our suite was great with a bedroom and living room. The view from the living room of the Thames was sensational. Good air conditioning and toiletries. The on site restaurant chino Latino is great. It served very tasty fusion food.

Beware the extra charge for an omelette of £10.50. This is in addition to the £25 (£19 if prebooked) breakfast cost! The Breakfast is average at best and is not produced by Chino Latino. The cleaning of the room is hit and miss. We have stayed in this hotel many times over the past 20 years. It's showing its age.
