Had a great sized double room with a good sized bathroom, both of which were clean and had facilities such as desk, tea & coffee making to suit my needs. The staff are always friendly and happy to assist with any requests. I have stayed here now on many occasions and feel safe in the area, which offers great tube access and handy restaurants/take aways. It was a warm week in London and my room had 3 windows I could open to add ventilation.

Extremely cheap for its location, great hotel staff. Perfect place to stay as solo traveller or working weekends, beds are comfortable with heated flooring in the bathroom. The TV didn’t have any channels which was a shame (GO4), plenty of bars near by and lots of lovely places to eat. The hotel is a stone throw away from the Oval cricket stadium, not that anyone actually likes or watches cricket.

This hotel has suited my needs on several stays for both location and cleanliness. The staff welcome me back each time and are extremely polite and helpful. I have stayed in a large sized double room with great bathroom for a London hotel. Location has good travel links, local cafes for reasonable priced breakfast and meals. The room is serviced daily, clean linen, tea and coffee making facility in the room at a great price. Highly recommend for a no frills hotel. I always feel safe here.

The staff was very friendly and we were offered help with our luggage since the lift was out of order. The bathroom was very nice with plenty of towel space and a very good shower. The bed was comfortable and we had a fan provided as the room did not have air conditioning.

The windows kept the sound out fairly well, but they were very hard to open. The rules for room service are unclear with conflicting messages in the room and at reception.

Everything except checking in!

Checking in; it wasn't initially put to me that all guests must provide ID. Now given that there is no formal standard photographic ID document in the UK I have difficulty providing Ian alternative form. I don't own a car anymore so haven't renewed my expired drivers licences and unfortunately my passport was stolen (a rather expensive form of ID to have stolen in a mediocre place (supermarket) and not at border control. Its an expensive risk carrying it around just to prove my age! Anyway the receptionist did accept a photograph of my expired drivers license in the end but I wish this rule of providing ID was highlighted more on booking confirmation etc...

The property is very well located, literally just a 5-minute walk from Oval underground station, which makes getting around London super convenient. The room itself was clean and tidy, with everything you need for a short stay – including a compact bathroom with a toilet and shower, and a small TV. Perfect for travelers looking for a simple and functional base in a great area.

it felt quite small for two people. The space is more suited for a solo traveler, as moving around with two suitcases or sharing the compact bathroom can feel a bit tight. Still, for a short stay and great location, it does the job.

I often travel to different regions for business, so I stay at hotels frequently. One thing I really liked about this hotel was that, as soon as I walked in, a staff member in a suit greeted me. You might not believe it, but at many hotels in the city, the receptionists dress very casually-or even in work clothes-as if they’re just friends of the owner. It’s honestly quite surprising. This hotel is close to the Tube, and my first impression upon arrival was very positive. The gentleman at reception kindly let me use the microwave when I asked, and also provided extra towels. Soft beds usually ruin my back, but here, the mattress was firm and supportive-just the way I like it. While the facilities are somewhat old, you can see that they work hard to maintain cleanliness throughout.

Strangely, there wasn’t a power outlet next to the bed, so I couldn’t charge my phone conveniently, which was a bit inconvenient. The hotel is right next to a main road, so it was quite noisy because of the traffic. Also, since there’s no restaurant in the hotel, there weren’t any plates available to use

1- Most important aspect was the location. Although it was not in the center but the oval station was at a walking distance, in addition to several bus stations all around, which makes it a lot easy to navigate and go wherever you needed. 2- The staff was amazing, everyone is so nice and helpful and respectful. 3- Breakfast (paid) was basic for what one could need to start their day. Of course it will not be fancy because this is what you are paying for. 4- The room was not that spacious but it fit us two and was enough. it even had a desk, a kettle with coffee and tea, a tv, a safe, a closet to hang your clothes, a hairdryer and shower gel in the bathroom. 5- Room service was free and daily which is very convenient. Towels are changed every time 6- Heating system was turned on automatically by the hotel so the room was always warm 7- The water pressure in the shower was great

Nothing really except for some broken window handles. we really enjoyed our stay and i would come back again the next time i visit London

Fantastic family room. very good value for money for four adults. beds were very comfortable. Fan provided as the day was very warm. Windows also opened, which helped with a breeze. coffee, tea and mugs provided aswell as water glasses. Room was very clean, hairdryer, ironing board provided. Bathroom was very spacious. Shower was great, very warm water which was great. staff very friendly and helpful.

Only issue we had was the lift was out of order. We were on the top floor so we had to walk to the third flight of stairs. that was the only issue at all.
