The room was superb although we got what we paid for. The breakfast was a set breakfast but the overall ambience of the place was very good.

When booking you express "a preference" for the room you want ie twin, double or accessible but despite a considerably high level room rate for the area there are no guarantees. Surprise, surprise when we got there all that was available was an accessible room (which im not a fan of), however shock horror for another amount of money we could get a higher spec room with a few nice touches in it. I wouldve preferred to just get the room that I wanted to book in the first place.

The location is excellent, right next to Victoria Station, trams and buses just a short walk. Shops, bars right on the doorstep. The room was bright clean and spacious. the staff were very friendly. The shower was huge.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that breakfast wasn't included in the price.

The moment we entered the hotel in Manchester we were greeted by a lovely staff member called Kaya. She was so lovely as I was so anxious and she made me feel completely at ease. My partner and I have never been away together in 20 years we've been together and this was our first hotel stay. It was excellent. So clean. I felt like I was living like someone that is rich as the hotel was luxurious. In the morning we had breakfast and we were served by a lovely lady called Tiffany. She was chatty and made us at ease as we were anxious. She did everything she could to look after us. My partner and I have booked to stay again in December

I don't have any complaints. I loved it all.

I honestly couldn't recommend this hotel enough. I booked this hotel for 2 nights for my boyfriend's 30th celebration. Great room on the 11th floor with exceptional views. I love that the lift only allows you to go to your floor (you have to swipe your key card in lift and enter your floor number). Adds that little bit of extra security. The door also made an alarm at me once for not shutting properly which was a great feature. The room had everything you need. Hairdryer, ironing board, kettle etc. Fantastic views and great design. Comfy bed. Not a great selection of tv chanels but that didn't bother us. Would be great if they could be upgraded to smart tvs for that option of streaming platforms to sign into. Staff were extremely helpful. I asked them to arrange some birthday balloons in our room pre arrival to suprise bf which they did for a small cost. Highly recommend having breakfast included in your stay, the buffet breakfast was top notch. Location was also perfect. Right near metro station, bus stop LITERALLY right outside the door for the city free bus which took us to and from picadilly station, near all the shops etc. Little place for ubers/taxis to pull up outside aswell. A great central location. All in all, for someone who is very used to shoddy budget hotels, this was a lovely treat and will most definitely be returning if we come up to Manchester again!

All i would change is the TV's. Not enough channels, kept cutting out, not smart feature ie access to log into streaming platforms. Would suggest upgrading them!

Hotel Indigo is right in the middle of a lot going on, first off its steps from the Victoria train station. There are numerous buses and trams available from the doorstep. The building itself is completely wonderful with all modern updates (blackout curtains, heat/aircon, and options for in room service. The hotel itself it also attached to a breakfast/lunch cafe (Todd Street Cafe) and a full service restaurant/bar (The Mamucium).

My only complaint was the restaurant attached (Mamucium) gave incorrect info about the ingredients in the food they served and then botched my order. Their food was mediocre at best, i’d suggest one of the numerous places close by for dinner instead.

Great location, lovely staff Helpful check-in Beds are so comfy Great windows Right amount of light in bathroom at night.

As with all hospitality...could do with more staff. Couldn't get enough pressure or warmth in shower but wonder if that was a temporary problem. Booked 2 flexible bookings with Booking.com as , though this was more money I knew family circumstances might mean we had to change things around nearer the time. This proved to be a lot less flexible than Booking.com implies. I managed to change 1, both changes well within the time allowed, but couldn't change the other as they kept saying " no rooms available for your change ". Not happy about that What is the point on paying extra for flexible Booking in that case. Hotel couldn't help because I'd booked through Booking.com

The room was very spacious, we were on the 4th floor and we did not feel disturbed by the tram or the trains at all. though the Hotel is directly next to the station. Everything was easily reached by foot, the staff was very helpful in answering questions about locations and shops, we felt being welcome from the first to the last day. Storing luggage before and after our stay for a couple of hours was no problem. Booking a time slot for breakfast did not disturb us like other guests mentioned here, good variety on breakfast buffet and also the a la carte breakfast. It did not make any difference whether we had breakfast during the week or the weekend, the staff was quick and friendly, the food was hot, what more can you ask for?!We liked the choice about having fresh towels and room cleaning not every day, thinking green gets our thumbs up any time! Getting fresh towels in between was no problem at all. The water in the shower was holding the temperature the whole time which was fantastic, no changing from hot to cold during the shower and the walk in shower is great. We did not hear anything from the guests next to us or from the corridor, it was very quiet. In total we had a very pleasant stay and can only recommend the Indigo Manchester. We would book it again, should we visit Manchester another time.

The beds were a little on the soft side, but that is our personal preference. What we did not like was that there is no chance in using the stairs to get up and down, one is forced to use the lift. We don`t like lifts at all and prefer using the stairs, the little extra exercise would have been welcomed by us. The ac was a little on the noisy side and the windows didn't open (due to them being french windows we presumed), but we didn't notice that after night 2. The room was clean but a little dusty in places. One minus was that one evening 2 out of the vegan/veggie meals were out, so there was no great choice. But what we got was tasty and served quickly with plenty excuses from the staff.

Centrally located next to Victoria train station and the AO Arena. Staff were friendly, check in was a bit slow but I believe there was a new computer system that may have delayed the process. I had a standard twin bedroom which was a very good size. The bathroom was lovely with a large walk in shower. There was a safe, fridge, iron/ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, a desk, armchair and a large wall mounted tv. I could not find a hairdryer though. The room was air conditioned. I didn’t hear any noise from outside and slept well. In the morning I had breakfast which had a good hot and cold buffet or there were some items that you could order from a menu. Everywhere looked clean.

Nothing.

Love the location of this hotel as it's on the doorstep of the AO ARENA. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The bar and restaurant area are beautiful. The room was very clean with complimentary shampoo/conditioner/soap/cream Room service was excellent. We was unsure as to whether we should order as we didn't know portion sizes of the meals, however, we ordered and was pleasantly surprised and happy with it. I think that maybe the size of the portions should be stated on the menu. For example pizza size, quantity of chicken wings etc so that you can order sufficiently.

The television in the room 313 kept losing connection and switching itself on and off every 10 minutes which wasn't great. We were watching the rugby league challenge cup final that we deliberately stayed in the room to watch so that was very disappointing (and so was the result).

The hotel was clean. Staff very welcoming and friendly. However we were told we had been given an upgraded room when we checked in but we had booked a king room so apart from being on floor 11 we couldn’t see what the upgrade was. Have added a picture to show the view from our room but we were told it wasn’t a city view room we’d been given.

Cold plates used to serve hot food for our fish and chips dinner which isn’t our preference and fish was over cooked. Breakfast on Sunday was luke-warm scrambled eggs but looked lovely. Not enough mugs available for coffee and some were dirty and cracked badly. We were in the restaurant and bar when people not staying at the hotel came into the bar to drink and they were loud and swearing a lot. Some guests came to breakfast after using the gym in their gym clothes and looked a bit sweaty!
