We stayed ten nights, so needed fully operational kitchen. Dishwasher out of order and not repaired. Fridge had no guardrails on lower shelves in door, so could not put bottles there. No instruction manuals for appliances, making microwave and cooktop hard to use. Oven was very difficult. Requested staff help, but she could not work it either, so could not use oven properly. Colour scheme of light grey, white and mostly dark grey was unpleasant. Dark tables, chairs cupboards and sofa were gloomy and depressing. Our apartment was near a busy, loud intersection. Buses, loud motorbikes, trucks and sirens made the noise level in the apartment on the 9th floor unpleasant. The apartment was roomy, with plenty of storage. Bed comfortable, but eyes unsupported (old), plenty of lights and power points. The situation is close to Hyde Park, shops, rail, buses and attractions.

The Oaks Suites Hyde Park is very centrally located and very well connected to bus and train routes. Hyde Park across the road is an excellent park to take a walk, exercise or just relax as it has plenty of green space, benches and shade. The suite was spacious and comfortable, and the open balcony was a bonus. The jet spa was a great way to relax at the end of the day or to kick start the day. There's a great little Cafe (Henry's) in the building next door. What more could one want?

The only slight issue is there is traffic noise during certain times of the day if you have your balcony open.

The location was perfect it was so easy to travel there on the train directly from the airport. Super close to the city I walked most places. I was there solo and felt perfectly safe. I used the pool, spa and the gym all were lovely. The gym was small. But great for a hotel gym. Would definitely stay again. I saw the suits for a larger rooms as I walked past and they looked huge. The space was more than enough for me. I felt safe and comfortable here

It was dated and in places you could see wear and tear. The kitchen could do with a basic update and that would make a huge difference to the room and the feel of it but this would not stop me staying again. The double was two singles pushed together so rhetorical lump in the middle was annoying but again. That was preference. And the shower was either boiling or freezing. No inbetween but that could have been my problem, I would still absolutely stay again. I

Great location stayed here on 2.occasions before it changed to Oaks Suites.Overpriced considering no Breakfast on site was Available.Also the flat I was allocated the windows were a disgrace large scratches total 5 and had sellotape on two of the larger scores plus outside hadn’t been washed for some time.And the view was amazing only to be spoiled by dirty and neglected windows.

The studio apartment was very clean and had a balcony with an incredible view which i didn’t expect so always a nice surprise. It had a little kitchenette so perfect to whip something quickly if needed. The hotel also has a rooftop pool, a sauna and a jacuzzi. There is a laundry room which is very handy for solo travellers and super cheap as well compared to what’s in the city. The staff is very friendly and will accommodate any requests. The hotel’s location is great, it’s literally by hyde park and a 10min walk from darling harbour and all the shops. Will be coming back!

Size of apartment was excellent, location was perfect, ease of checking in and out was excellent as well. Staff friendly and helpful. Also, did not have to pay a large damage deposit, which is definitely a plus. The view from the large windows, looking over Hyde Park, was fabulous, making the apartment seem light and airy. Short distance to Museum Train Station, so can easily go to and from airport. Would certainly stay here again. Thank you! 😊

Just one small thing - the curtains in this room need adjusting as they didn't quite meet up the top, leaving a small gap, but having said that I didn't mentioned this before I left and maybe no one else has either.

The location was excellent, very central for everything we wanted to do while in Sydney. Very close to a train station and bus stops, but we chose to walk almost everywhere we went. The bed was nice and firm (hotel beds can be very hit or miss), and the room was a good size. The room had a small balcony, which I didn't realise when booking. I really like that Oaks offer the option to have no housekeeping, as we didn't need it for this stay. The staff were willing to help with anything we needed, there was also the option to have a hamper or takeaway brought to the room for an extra cost. The hotel also had a pool, gym and laundry, we didn't use these services but appreciated that they were on offer.

The room wasn't as spotless as you'd expect, the curtains were not clean (noticeable when pulling them shut - not a huge issue). We could hear other guests in the hallway, and some particularly loud guests in their rooms. We could also hear some traffic outside, although this wasn't that bad (I thought it would be worse based on other reviews).

Very clean and comfortable view spectacular from our room, location excellent, beds very comfortable, kitchen well equipped and with a dishwasher, all the linen spotlessly clean, great supermarket 2 minutes away and lots of eateries nearby,

the microwave was partly over the stove top to accommodate the coffee machine and coffee pods which also covered the power points to use for the jug and toaster, I don't drink coffee so moved the machine etc to the top of the fridge and the microwave off the stove and had use of the power points then, other than that all good.

Great location, comfy bed. Good facilities in room. Bed was comfy and great views over the park.

Shower and bathroom was not good. Water took a long time to drain so we would be standing in dirty water. Old tap fittings and shower head. I wasn’t happy having to pay $60/night to park the car. I think those fees are extremely high. If I had been aware of the cost I would have booked a different hotel. We booked here as it was affordable and what I assumed was inclusive. I could have booked a hotel with parking and breakfast included for the same price that this total was with the parking fees.

The location is fantastic. Right next to hyde park and next to a bunch of takeaway/restaurants. There are also two supermarkets within 2 - 5 min walk from the accommodation. The aircon worked well throughout our whole stay and the room itself was clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable as well. The pool and spa were also great to use with a lovely view of Sydney below.

There were a few broken items and worn amenities. Both the bathroom and kitchen taps needed work (kitchen tap was very wobbly). The room itself needed maintenance, but a lot were minor things. The odd wobbly table on the balcony and kitchen/bathroom renovations would do the place good. Also, the room was very noisy throughout all times of the day and night. This would be fixed if they double glazed the windows.
