Good price, location. Free limo service to downtown area. Pleasant driver. Casino free-play coupons for slots, $15 per person per day. Decent breakfast available until 10 am. Free coffee, tea and water available, also apples and cookies.

Pool was ice-cold. 5 ft. In small area in center only. Otherwise shallow. Whirlpool was better! Single elevator stopped working several times. Would suggest requesting room on second floor as lobby, reception and breakfast area, pool and workout room are on that level.

This quaint, modernized, updated Inn, located on 131 was very nice. All of the employees were very friendly. We had some questions about the local area that even the maintenance man answered. They all work as a team. Cleaning was constantly going on in the halls, painting, updating. There were no cobwebs in corners at this Inn. We stayed in a corner balcony room and had an excellent view of the water. Hot breakfast every morning, gym room, hot tub, inside pool, comfortable room with coffee pot and small refrigerator. This Inn had everything we needed. Drinking coffee on the outside balcony in the morning was an added bonus. I chose this Inn from browsing on the web but after experiencing our stay, we would definitely stay here again. Showers need updating but management is working on that. Centrally located to shopping, restaurants, and waterfront park it was easy to get around. The complimentary limo is available during evening hours if you prefer not to walk or drive yourself. We were there in September so there was parking near the park. In the summertime, parking might be hard to find. McDonald's is just a couple of blocks away and convenient. Odawa Casino is within a couple of miles from the Inn. A few miles to the south are Boyne Mountain and the SkyBridge. It's not a high end luxury inn but for people looking for a centrally located, comfortable stay, the Apple Tree Inn is great. .

Showers need to be modernized but the management is working on that ugprade.

Front desk was super helpful. We got in a little early and we swung by to see what time check in was. The lady at the front desk told me and then suggested a place to spend some time. Within an hour, I was suprised and delighted to get a call from her letting me know our room was ready. That was going above and beyond. Good Job!! Breakfast was really good. I appreciated the room we were given, first floor close to the back door and laundry. Again, we did not request this but I have a feeling that because they knew we were taveling via Van, with pets they put us in this convenient room. We found that every once in a while we need to get out of the van we are traveling in and stay at a hotel. I would absolutely stay here again.

The front desk staff was AMAZING!! Booking never sent my reservation to the hotel so the front desk staff was super patient while I tried to get a solution with Booking. Finally, there was no solution and the front desk staff helped me and got me hooked up with a room.

The property is fantastic. My problem was Booking screwed up my reservation and I spent too much time on 2 different calls to Booking help line. They still didn’t get it right even though they said it was taken care of. It was clear the Booking agents didn’t know what they were doing. I’m deleting the Booking app after this.

This was a very nice hotel, the counter staff was very friendly and helpful! We arrived early and couldn't check in (we were there at 1:00 and check-in was 3:00) and Renee helped us find a great place for lunch. Came back after 3:00 and checked in, asked for a dinner recommendation at that time - Renee hit her second homerun - the place she recommended for dinner was out of the world yummy (Lunch was Julienne Tomatoes, Supper was City Park Grill) - great suggestions. Room was super cute, very clean, bed was comfortable. Front desk was always helpful. Breakfast the next morning was typical hotel breakfast (waffles (my favorite), eggs, biscuits & gravy, bacon, yogurt, bagels). Coffee was decent. Hotel was very clean and staff of was out of this world friendly. I would stay here again if in this area of the world.

We booked at the last minute and it was surprisingly affordable. The desk clerk was quick, kind and very helpful. Our room was super comfortable and we enjoyed some time on our balcony looking at Little Traverse Bay. The whole place is very clean and the breakfast was delicious!!! The only downside for me was the sound of traffic from the highway but it wouldn’t be a deal breaker. We admired that there was a free limo service but we didn’t take advantage of it. Cynthia Lutz

The staff was very friendly. The environment was quaint and the breakfast selection was good. Our room was large enough that my family of 4 (with 2 teen boys felt comfortable. We loved taking the complimentary limo to dinner in downtown Petoskey!

The shower was not in the best condition. It was difficult to adjust the water temperature and the water pressure was not good. The heating unit right next to one of the beds blew directly in our faces all night. My son woke with a bloody nose both mornings because of it.

Apple Tree Inn was very conveniently located for the activities we had planned during our visit. The hotel was an updated version of the hotel style we remember from our travels early in our marriage with a cozy feeling we appreciated. Having the sink separate from the shower/toilet area was a nice feature of the room. The bed was quite comfortable and we enjoyed the included breakfast after a good night's sleep.

Very clean property! Comfortable beds and super accommodating on finding us a crib! Loved the patio and lake view from our room. Very friendly staff! My family loved the hot tub and pool . Free Waters cookies and apples in the lobby were a nice bonus

The pool was a little too cold and the breakfast could have had a few more options. Also no way to turn off the patio light so it was slightly shining into our room all night . Not too much to keep us up though

Room was very clean and nice view from the balcony. The pool and spa were really nice after a day of walking. The free limo service is a great perk, keep that going.

The breakfast could have been better. Also the elevator stopped working and we were on the 4th floor so it made navigating the hotel a little tricky. Cable TV could be updated.
