The Maldron is such a great hotel. The location is perfect as you're close to everything. We were impressed with the beautiful view from our window and it was also very quiet despite being located next to the lifts - we didn't hear a soul! It was our first time staying here and we would definitely stay here again.

We'd heard from some other vegan travellers that the breakfast was very vegan friendly which was one of the main reasons we booked The Maldron. We'd have to say that while the breakfast was good, it wasn't as amazing as others have possibly had. We did ask for some vegan sausages and were told that they were waiting for a delivery and we understand that but we didn't feel that the price tag was worth what we got and in the end we went out and about in Glasgow for some better priced vegan breakfasts that were huge. We would still stay here again but just wouldn't order the breakfast. A quick mention that we loved that the breakfast items were all clearly labelled with ingredients though - well done!

The location was very central and within easy walking of the many pubs, cafes and restaurants within Glasgow City Centre. My brother and I were on a football weekend and visiting Scottish friends and they travelled in to Queens Street Station which was a short walk away from the Hotel. We were running at a local Parkrun on Saturday morning so asked for a quiet top floor room and this request was provided. The staff were friendly and although we did not request breakfast the meals provided within the restaurant in the Evening were excellent.

There was nothing to dislike about this hotel and I have stayed in quite a few over the years!

The location is very good for arriving at Buchanan bus station....only about 7 to 10 minutes walk. All the reception staff we dealt with were brilliant. Same goes for breakfast waiting staff. The buffet breakfasts themselves had a great range of food for all diets and preferences.....indeed the best of our stay in Scotland and well worth the additional price paid.

We asked for a higher floor end room if possble and that's what we were given..... a room on the 9th floor of 11 floors. Giddingly high but our choice. If there is a next visit to Glasgow we would choose this hotel but a lower floor

This is my go-to hotel I recommend to friends and family visiting the city. I also staycation here sometimes because it’s got a fantastic location and is super clean and comfortable. I’ve never once been disappointed by this hotel! :) Also, in a time when so many other hotel rooms are climate controlled with no actual AC, it’s always great to have controllable AC.

The only thing I don’t like is that the shower has a glass partition that goes halfway instead of a full door, so sometimes the floor gets wet, but it’s a minor gripe compared to how much I like the rest of it.

Location was brilliant for city centre venues and in particular theatre venues. Our room was spotlessly clean and in particular the bathroom was excellent and showers wonderful.

The bar area was nice but when we arrived back for a drink after our theatre show some of the tables were needing tidied and there was a bit of food on the carpeted floor from earlier diners. Having said that there was some cleaning up done shortly thereafter so maybe there had been a shift change causing a short delay. Prosecco was listed on the drinks menu by the glass but not available at the bar by the glass, and the 200 cl bottle we could have was somewhat overpriced in comparison. These are very small points.

Our stay was brilliant, the hotel was lovely and so was our room, lovely layout and bed was super comfortable. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The hotel is also in a great location, stone through away from cinema and only a few minute walk down to town. Lots of food places and pubs surrounding the hotel which was very convenient for us. Overall we loved our stay and will definitely be using again.

I would say the only thing that wasn't great for us was the tv only had about 6 tv channels and about 3 radio. So when having a little lazy morning there wasn't much choice in tv watching.

Mostly friendly staff 5. Lovely touch with the heart-shaped balloon in our room for our anniversary celebration - really appreciate it! Overall, very pleased with our 6d5n stay here. Would definitely stay here again if we revisit Glasgow. :)

Supervisor was a tad stiff and not very approachable. Gave wrong advice with regards to booking Rabbie's tours, but even then, she came across as being generally professional nonetheless.

Central location, practically next door to the theatre we were going to. Staff were friendly and helpful, nice hot shower. Breakfast buffet was really good, even though we were one of the last ones in at 9.30am there was plenty of fresh food available, great selection and everything tasted fresh.

Lost a star for 2 points 1 We could not get the room warm enough. Every time we upped the heating it would quickly reduce the temperature again. In the end we ended up putting socks and jumpers on and used the extra towels as bedding through the night. 2 I’m not sure what it was but the room felt like there was a lot of allergens, almost immediately we both felt our throats and sinuses tighten up. The room was clean from what we could tell, definitely cleaner that some hotels we’ve stayed in but there was something in the air. We heard the hotel is new so maybe some dust of something lingering.

Very handy location in city centre all staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was great size very comfortable and also aswell as tea coffee biscuits also had bottles of water. Lovely comfortable beds and great bathroom with wet room and seat for disabled. Will definitely be recommending you and staying again when we can. Price was excellent and also included breakfast. Love the fact you also have gluten free options and breakfast was self service and as much as you like refill on all drinks

I would have hoped to have had square sausage and also porridge at breakfast. Am sure visitors to Scotland would have loved it

Location to where I needed to be. Staff were pleasant And most very helpful. Manager Z Raif was most helpful To correct room not being cleaned x2 after 3 day stay And no coffee, tea, milk or tissue’s or toilet paper Necessities! Had it corrected in quick manner, he also remembered name and on shift always made a point to Come in to lounge to check on satisfaction every occasion he saw me, very professional. I did stay checked in and left for two nights to travel to Aberdeen and stayed at the Malmaison on these two nights and after experiencing their hotel executive Suite and menu at a much lesser cost and talking to front house manager with our experience at Maldron I would consider staying next trip at their Glasgow location in same area as Maldron my first stay here and booked to be near friends meeting up with for holiday.

My only concern was housekeeping was very poor and asked. Rain if rooms were not checked by a supervisor As I had never encountered this before at any hotel Ever. It put a real damper on beginning of holiday abc I had to ask to see Manager not one person suggested calling on Senior staff member and then to have it happen x2 again was very disappointing and a bar sandwich complimented does not begin to compensate They work up I in countered especially after being away two nights and still paying for my room to return to no supplies again!i
