Great hosts Carolyn kept in contact with us during horrendous journey from Mackay. Room was light and bright with large picture windows and patio door. Great size room with well equipped kitchen, large dining table and comfortable lounge area. Bedrooms were good size and for once plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. Nice to have washer and dryer. On site parking is a bonus. Pool are is kept spotlessly clean and loved the jacuzzi which is at just nice temperature. Personal touches ie hand written notes and some sweets left on arrival and departure. Location is excellent with beach over the road and a 5 mknute stroll along the esplanade brings you into the centre. Wouldn't hesitate recommending these apartments.

Would have liked a bigger balcony area but not the end of the world.

Carolyn and Garry were so welcoming and informative, right from the get go. Garry had pointed out local eateries and attractions while Carolyn had pre-packed a welcome gift for our kids. Throughout the stay, there were extremely helpful and pleasant to chat to. Always there for anything for anything we needed We were really saddened to leave and cannot wait for our next trip to Surfer's Chalets. Thank you so much - we'll see you soon.

I had received an email from Carolyn the day before our check in date, advising we could check in early at 10am which I appreciated and I scheduled my family’s arrival time soon after. I met Carolyn at the reception desk and she personally came to the car park and brought a trolley to the car and came with us in the lift to the unit. She was so friendly and helpful and when we entered the unit, she immediately advised our teenager of the internet password that was on the fridge. This personal service made us feel very welcome and our teenager suggested we stay here next time we come to Surfers.

There were ceiling fans in the bedrooms and aircon in the living area. We were quite comfortable being autumn but in summer, aircon in the bedrooms would be better. The showers had fixed shower heads but hand held shower would be preferable.

Proximity to the beach was excellent, free parking available, care takers were super friendly and helpful. Spacious rooms, beautiful balcony with sunset views.

The spare bed was very, very hard and it couldn’t be made softer with additional blankets. There was plenty of equipment in the kitchen, however coming by plane we couldn’t use it as we had no oil, spices/herbs and condiments.

Absolutely everything. Couldn’t fault our stay here. Highlights are the managers and the cleanliness. We were greeted at the door on arrival and taken up to our room. They were amazing at communicating through messages before our stay and were happy for me to get a parcel delivered before my arrival. The room was spotless and had a microwave and the basics. Location was right on the beach so could get up for sunrise and be down at the water in less than 5 minutes. The main area was around a 10-15 minute walk which was great as it meant we weren’t far from everything but it was nice and quiet. Had a lovely pool also!

Couldn’t fault the place!

This was one of THE best places I have ever stayed anywhere in the world that I have visited. The location was fantastic! So close to everything and within walking distance. The facilities were great, the pool was so clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. The unit we stayed in had absolutely everything we needed. It was clean, well looked after and just what we needed. Carolyn and Garry the property managers, what can I say. They were like family. They absolutely made our entire trip. Nothing was too much trouble, every request no matter how big or small was met. Their kindness, friendliness and family feel was so appreciated. I cannot recommend Surfers Chalet highly enough. We will not stay anywhere else when we come to surfers from now on. We’ve definitely found our home away from home. Thank you Carolyn and Garry for showing us such incredible hospitality. Can’t wait to visit again!

Carolyn n Gary are wonderful hosts and very welcoming. Maybe me being abit bias because she from my home country NZ. King size bed was very comfy 😴 the 2 bedroom apartment is very spacious, abit dated, but didnt care, because we were out most of the time. Location is Amazing. Everythings in walking distance, if you want to go further jump on the tram. Its a safe and secure location. Thanks Carolyn and Gary

Umm, nothing to dislike

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is very nice and has a beautiful sea view. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches — all the keys were manual, each room had a mezuzah, and the fridge was meushar for Shabbat. It was also a great plus that the apartment is very close to the shul. These details made us feel right at home. Thank you!

The room was incredibly clean with a beautiful view over the ocean, however the highlight is Carolyn, I have never met a more accommodating and friendly host in my 10 years of travelling. She couldn't do enough for us, she remembered all of our names and went out of her way to make us feel at home. We were there for a wedding in Brisbane, it had been 5 years since that friendship group had the chance to meet and Carolyn seemed genuinely more excited about the event than we were! if I ever have an event within 200 miles of Surfer's Chalet I will be sure to stay there again! Thank you so much for making the weekend even more special than it would have been.

Rooms were big they were clean and tidy, location was great, walking distance to surfers Paradise and Cavil mall, Surf club directly opposite with good food and amazing views . Customer service was excellent, communication was excellent, I will definitely recommend and I will be coming back Thank you to Management , we travel for work and weekends regularly and your service from the first confirmation email to the time we departed was hard to beat
