A beautiful hotel set in great location. I believe only opened 12 months earlier and it shows. Spotless throughout. The Coldplay guys were staying here whilst playing Vienna so says alot about the quality of this place

The spar pool is too cold and not pleasant to use. For some reason they do not restock the mini bar or the tea/sugar. Very odd. With almost all 5 star hotels, complementary water is the norm yet I was charged €18 when I asked for 2 bottles for the room!!! Very annoying!

Superb location. New and very clean hotel. The room was huge and very clean. Very comfortable beds. Friendly staff. The minibar items were complimentary and were replenished daily.

I adored everything about this hotel. I ave never encountered a more professional staff in my years if travelling. Anything we needed was tended to even before we checked in. I had a package delivered to the hotel which they passed to me on arrival, we had a day where we left for an excursion earlier than the start of breakfast so they made sure to pack a breakfast box for us and deliver it before 6:30am, we needed some packing materials for the wine we bought so they were able to provide options and all communication was done through what's app. Yes you could call them but like most people my age I prefer to text and they responded within minutes!! The pool is great it has litter buttons throughout to activate the various bubble nets and jets found around the pool. The overall ambiance in the pool/spa/gym area is so relaxing we made sure to spend a few hours reading by the pool. The breakfast was delicious and I don't know why some in the comments said that it took them forever to bring their food that was not our experience and we were with them for eight days. The other meals like lunch and dinner were superb as well. We were lucky to experience a market day with them so we were able to sample local cheeses , wines and see local artisans wares. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a 5 star in vienna. I could go on about how great it was but here's a summary Sleep: great beds firm with a little squish. Noise: none and i asked them beforehand to put me far away from the elevators and they made it happen. Comfort: rooms were cool with AC. They don't do that "locking" thing where the thermostat won't go below 23C like you find in some hotels. Mind you we visited in June. Room: we booked an alamanc suite. They upgraded us to almanac suite with park view upon check-in.

Not so much a dislike just know this the bathrooms aren't super private in the toilet area. You cant see the person but uhh yeah you can make out the shape of the person.

First of all, we booked a Junior suite and when we arrived were told that we were being upgraded to a 2 story suite. Now that sounds larger than it was but it was plenty roomy and lovely. The room was totally clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the location was fantastic for such a walking city....and easy access to train for longer treks. It rained quite a bit and they were there with the umbrellas for us to use all day. Whether it was doing laundry or arranging a car, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I wish I remembered the name of the girl at the front desk for a shout out. Danny worked the door and was very helpful

Loved everything in this magnificent hotel. From the moment we arrived we felt very pampered with delicious chilled Sekt handed to us and our cases being whisked up to our room which doesn’t always happen these days. All the staff were wonderful and the location is ideal - across from the Stadt Park and a few minutes walk to the centre of town. We had a very quiet room 630 which was a duplex suite and really stunning. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the fabulous staff made it extra special. Thank you to everyone at Almanac Palais.

Staff went above and beyond to assist with any questions or requests that we may have had. Extremely friendly and accommodating. Exceptional location allowed us the privilege to walk to sightsee and visit much of what this beautiful city has to offer… we even walked to the opera in our Sunday best (with a stop for dinner at a lovely Italian restaurant recommended by outstanding concierge team at the Almanac). The hotel is beautiful and magestic with a bit of a modern flair. The restaurant has lovely breakfasts and lunches (we didn’t experience dinner). The room is extremely comfortable and the bed heavenly. We can’t wait to return, it is definitely our recommendation when visiting Vienna.

Can’t think of any negatives.

The location is mesmerizing right in front of a green beautiful park , the service you get from them is beyond reality ! If I go back to Vienna , Almanac will be my choice for ever ! When you enter you room you’ll fall in love with a huge room with your private walk in closet and of course a fancy washrooms ! You don’t expect but when you go out they’ll come and do the room service again and again not once a day ! If even you go out 10 times a day while you’re back your bed is made no matter what !

There is no negative point at all to mention !

Got in late on Friday night and was delighted to hear that breakfast is served from 7am to 2pm. It meant a great sleep was had in huge comfortable bed without the worry of sleeping in and missing breakfast.... finally awakened at 12.30pm (the blackout blinds were super), well rested and ready to enjoy breakfast without feeling rushed. We were given an room upgrade on check-in and found a lovely amenity in the room with personalised note - nice touch and greatly appreciated. Shops, bars and restaurants all just a short walk from the hotel (if you don't want to use the hotels facilities), catering to a variety of menus and budgets. The metro / trams and transport options are all accessible from the front of the hotel.

I didn't like having to check out at the end of my stay.... would have loved to stay longer.

His knowledge of the city is impressive, and he was incredibly helpful in planning my itinerary. Whether it was securing a last-minute dinner reservation or providing insider tips on the best places to visit, Jones was always there with a smile and great advice.
