The room takes you back years and fits to the atmosphere of being next to Prague Castle. The location is awesome and walking down the side street and going down the Prague Castle stairs to get your morning Starbucks coffee is pure luxury. In addition if you look straight in front of the hotel there is a tram stop that will take you down town (22 or 23). And if there is a point you are fed up with tourist crowds walk UP to the mini Eiffel Tower and keep touring the hills. If you are staying in this hotel longer than 3 days walk instead of right towards Prague castle left to a different area of Prague. Especially in the afternoon and evening to get a feel real Czech food and prices.

Quite small room (still Ok for like 2 nights) Very warm room - be careful in summer. The room was south oriented. Even there was a mobile AC available in the room, it was almost impossible to use it (quite noisy and low performance). Equipment of the room quite worn out. It was OK for 2 nights. Matresses not really comfort

The staff was friendly and helpful. All of them speak good English. The location of the hotel is excellent, easy to be reached by car. The trams going to the downtown stopped just in from of the hotel. The room was clean, furniture was OK, the bed was also good. The breakfast was excellent. Breakfast was a buffet style with large choice.

The pillows in the bed were too big, impossible to use them as designed. No way to put your head on them while sleeping.

Hotel is old but is nice and on the good place. Breakfast is good. Staff is polite and ready to help. Room is clean.

Curtain is needed for bathroom around the bathtub because the floor is flooded by water after bathing and there is no drain. Curtain on the window is old, slightly dirty and don't cover enough...Young lady on the reception need to better know English language. One polite recommendation: replace the carpet on the first floor, because it is not very representative when you see worn carpet...

Breakfast not excellent, there was limited options, but tasty. Location is good, just in front of a tramway stop. Building is old but historical, really beautiful. It is also near the rout to the airport, so it is perfect for one stopover (as we did).

They gave us the keys of a room that was occupied, so we had an akward situation. But apart from that, everything was fine.

A very good breakfast, tasty meals and a good cappucino, a big bath and a silent room. I loved the position and the view over the street. The Tramway Museum is very close.

The main entrance was hard to find. The building was clearly recognizable but not the main door. Maybe some signs would improve it.

Hotel stuff is perfect, that's was a big pleasure to stay. Rooms are clean and cozy

Bathroom shower wasn't clean and I'm not sure if it ever was washed. I assume my room stayed to long, therefore a part of the room was covered in web and I were hunting on baby spiders

We moved to this hotel last minute due to a hostel being unsafe. This hotel was amazing, it was clean, it was comfortable and it was safe. The staff were lovely and helpful and the room was spotless. Beds were comfy and the bathroom had everything needed. The location was brilliant and we were able to walk to the castle within 10 minutes. Would highly recommend.

Quiet and tidy, breakfast sufficient. Location not in the centre but a nice walking distance for a fit person. A park close by was nice for a morning run.

The bathroom floor drain was a bit smelly and the toilet brush was broken.

Our room had a view over the entire Prague Castle area, from St Vitus to Loreta and wider than that. We could also see the "Eiffel Tower" on Petrin Hill, and see the hotel and our car from the top of that tower. The decor and furnishings are attractive, probably traditional. Apparently the building was part of the castle grounds and is protected by UNESCO.

Breakfast was OK, but we didn't think some things were being refreshed daily. For example pastries and pancakes, which gradually reduced in number. Eggs were good and bread was good. For those who like salad and fruit for breakfast, those seemed fine.
