Absolutely wonderful place, where people invest a bit of their heart in everything they are doing - cleaning (it really feels like home, it’s that clean), serving breakfast, answering questions, helping with additional requests. Stuff is super helpful and kind. Pet accommodation deserves a separate praise: our little dog has never been treated with such kindness. For a very modest fee he was greeted with a super clean and comfy bed and a new shiny bowl (just to clarify: in most hotels pet accommodation fee is higher and is charged for nothing - merely for the fact that the hotel lets the pet in. It’s a rear luxury to get a bowl of water:)))-

WiFi was non-existent in our room.

The deluxe room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was great, and the staff was very helpful. It's a great location because it is not far from many tourist attractions, but it is at the top of a hill where it is very quiet.

We asked the hotel receptionist to help us call a taxi to go somewhere, and they said they only called taxis to the airport. The hotel employee was very nice and helped us creatively solve the situation, but it was surprising that a hotel like this would not call a regular taxi for their guests. Not everyone has mobile phone service, especially people traveling from outside Europe.

The hotel offers a very high quality of service especially considering its comparatively low price. The building and its interior is beautiful and we had access to many complementary amenities not available in many 4-star hotels: a Prosecco glass, fresh water/coffee/tea/sweets every day. The restaurant has an amazing view on the city and the staff is friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and, after covering the windows, provided satisfactory comfort in the night. Nothing to complain :)

As I’ve already written, there is nothing to complain. The comments below are meant to inform the fellow travelers of the possible hiccups. We had a breakfast twice at the hotel. It was very good but the menu/choice was limited. I think it could become monotonous during a longer stay. The location is beautiful, we love the Mala Strana. It’s worth remembering though that it’s a bit steep walk from/to the center. Returning from the night sightseeing may be taxing. On the bright side, there is a tram stop very close to the hotel and one can probably go via tram and avoid the climb. We haven’t tried it though.

What a place! We truly enjoyed everything about our stay at Hotel Questenberg. The room and bathroom were clean, and everything smelled fresh. Thanks to our cleaning girls! We especially liked the authentic design, the cozy lounge, and the summer terrace. Breakfasts were excellent—special thanks to Katya, Lilia, and Svetlana for their delicious food. The receptionists, Igor and Pavel, were very helpful and shared many useful tips about Prague and interesting places to visit. A big thanks to Alexander, Angelina, and Anvar, who served us during breakfast and on the terrace—they were all incredibly positive and helpful! We will definitely come again!

Only one little thing that wasn't excellent is our armchair, that wasn't clean enough. But that is not a big deal.

I slept like royalty here. The bed? Soft, cozy, with feather pillows and thick blankets — like falling into a cloud. 💤 Peaceful, silent, and full of that old royal charm. The breakfast? Pure class. Prosecco in the morning, fresh juice, espresso on the side. You don’t need to be rich to feel rich here. The place itself is something special — right next to the monastery, with a view over Prague, and just a short walk to Charles Bridge. You feel history, calm, and style all in one. But the best part? I came here alone… and left with memories I’ll carry forever. 🌟 What makes this hotel special: Incredible city views Top-quality sleep and comfort Quiet location near the monastery Relaxing atmosphere Friendly staff (and yes, you can ask for a bathrobe as a souvenir 😉) Perfect for people looking for: Peace and luxury combined A true Prague experience A place to find yourself again

I loved the location which is not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city, but it is only a 10 min easy rolling down the hill stroll to get to Lesser town and Charles bridge. Every morning we chose a different beautiful path. On the way back we took tram 22 which is 2 min walk from the hotel. The hotel is in an historical 1620 building and has lots of character. Rooms had beautiful beams and were very comfortable and very clean and we slept very well. Breakfast was great- you have an amazing view from the dining room, and you choose your breakfast from a menu and also have a buffet that you use. Very delicious. Staff were lovely and helpful at the reception and dining room.

Toiletries weren't filled automatically every day in the room and with a long problematic hair like mine, one bottle wasn't enough for 2 days so I had to ask for it twice in our 4 days of satys, but got it with no problem.

The location is magnificent at the top of Petrin hill. Very close to the castle and monastery. Beautiful view of the city from the terrace. A really nice property overall with spacious rooms.

The cleanliness can be improved. I kept finding random hair around my bathroom and bedroom. The carpet looks like he hasn’t been cleaned in half a century. Also, the windows on the ground floor open on to a brick wall so there is no view at all. That was a big disappointment. And then there were small things like no face tissues in the room, the shower stall not having a shelf to keep your toiletries.

Everything was great, starting with the complementary glass of champagne at check-in. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful; the dining room where I ate breakfast every morning had stunning views and had plenty of space, with a great staff; my room on the third floor was comfortable and very quiet. (Due to jet lag I needed to take a couple of mid-morning naps, so I really appreciated how quiet it was then.) The windows in my room had great views of the Strahov monastery just up the hill. The Questenberg has a great location, with easy access to the 22 tram that comes every 10 minutes; the tram got me everywhere I needed to go across the river. (The 22 also stops at a Metro station just down the hill, and the subway there comes every few minutes.) The castle is a short stroll down the hill. This was my fourth visit to Prague, and the Questenberg is the best place I've stayed at -- I would gladly stay there again.

The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't stay longer!

Amazing view, charming hotel in a former monastery, the beds couldn’t be more comfortable, very clean, nice people, coffee available all day (for free). Elevator to help bringing up the luggage. Very close to the tram and thus convenient to visit Prague. Definitely would come back and recommend it!

Everything was perfect. We would have tried the breakfast if it was not 20€ (it could be nice to have a cheaper option for those who appreciate just a small breakfast!)

Location, history, responsive staff.

Breakfast, we been coming back for many time but the breakfast buffet got really small over time, limited selections are getting smaller and smaller, especially the pastry. Coffee was also weak and not as good flavor as before. For the extra price you pay you expect better. Room service for our room came in just before 4pm, when we just got back to refresh before dinner, we called it off. Rooms could use more upkeep in general, wall behind the luggage stand was beat up, and make up mirror in the bathroom had the lights dimmed and not working properly. This hotel needs some general improvements or I will have to start looking elsewhere for my Prague stays.
