Location was fantastic. Easy walk to shops, restaurants and attractions

Bed was very uncomfortable and springs sticking out from the side and a very thick cob web was in the corner on the ceiling which looks like it was there for weeks.

The property was in a great location, short walking distance to a tube station. Bedroom was small but the bed was nice and comfy.

I stayed over a month ago and still have not had my deposit back

The smiling, solution-oriented and caring staff was the most striking aspect. My room was cleaned frequently and the common areas of the hotel were clean. I really liked the decoration. In addition to the wonderful atmosphere in the common areas, the fact that I could always reach the coffee service made me very happy as a coffee lover. The location of the building was magnificent. Hydepark was right next to us and it was really good that it was both a fresh air and a refreshing opportunity. The breakfast options were quite sufficient for me. The internet connection and room facilities were also at a level that would meet my needs. I would like to thank all the staff once again. I will also prefer the Commodore Hotel on my next visit to London.

There wasn't a single topic that I didn't like.

Attractive building, very smart, clean and tastefully decorated throughout. Hotel room was cleaned daily, left immaculately. Staff were friendly and professional. Location perfect for Hyde Park and very close to tube station to travel around London.

Unfortunately we had a room directly opposite the staff storage cupboard so we were woken every morning by the staff gathering cups, etc. appreciate this is difficult to do quietly but would be good if they could be a little more aware of their surroundings and stock up quickly, speak quietly and minimise time taken. Not complaining about the staff as they were all courteous and approachable face to face. Apart from that, the hotel is very good and welcoming.

For my purpose it was ideal location as a tourist close to everything including underground and bus stops

The price on the morning buffet was a little rich as I can not eat all this food - like to have a smaller option - like a quick french breakfast ( smaller )

Me, my 74 y.o. mother, and my 10 y.o son have stayed there for 4 nights in one of the apartments. It was situated 40 metres outside the hotel. - The hotel has a nice looking lobby, and the staff is very nice and helpful; - The location is quite near to Lancaster gate subway station (central line) and Paddington station (circular subway line, trains), which provide very easy acces to Soho and China Town (you can be there in around 15 minutes from the hotel), Westminister, The London Tower, Notting Hill gate (Portobello road market, Holland Parc), and Heathrow airport. The entry of beautiful Hyde parc is about 1 minute walking from the Hotel. There are also handy bus lines near there; - There are some good pubs around the corner of the hotel, and shopping streets within 10 minutes walking; - The apartment was very spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and showers. It was very clean when we arrived and the kitchen was well equipped, including a stove, oven, nespresso, watercooker, laundromat and dishwasher. Laundromat and dishwasher tablet were complementary. The matrasses were somewhat hard, but I like that. There was a tv in the spacious living room and in the master bedroom.

- The apartment was on the basement level, but had plenty of light (so no problem whatsoever). There was another similar appartement on the 5th floor, but we asked for the one we stayred in because these appartments only have stairs to reach them (and the 5th floor is too much for my mum). The staff arranged that for us before checking in. - There were some minor problems with the equipement (a disfunctional safe, a bedroom door not closing good), but those were of little importance. It would be good if the safe would be functional and more user friendly, and if the lliving room would have some mood lighting, but we solved the latter by use of one of the bedroom lights there.

Exceptionally beautiful location. Really pleasant to walk. Furnished to a high quality and very well and thoughtfully decorated. Warm, attentive staff.

A bit of a warren to navigate but soon got used to it. Really nothing to dislike. A really nice surprise.

Exceptionally clean, very comfortable beds

Our room was on 5th floor, no lift in that part of the building had to take 77 stairs up to the room and we are in our 70’s. No offer of a lower floor!! Plus breakfast was in the basement which meant more stairs. Bit chaotic at breakfast food not replenished quick enough had to keep asking for things.

My recent stay at the Hotel Commodore in London was very pleasant. The room was clean and, for London standards, quite spacious. The bathroom and toilet were well-maintained. An old armchair in the room added to the hotel's historical charm. The public transport accessibility is also great, with everything just a few minutes away. Daily cleaning and towel changes were provided.

The breakfast was basic and the same every day, which seems to be standard for London :(. A note of caution for anyone over 6'3" (190 cm): the shower head is quite low, so you might bump your head.

The location is walking distance to Kensington park and to Paddington train station and we were able to walk going to see Buckingham Palace via Kensington Park. The staff members are so helpful and kind. And the breakfast selection is great and yummy. Sanjay, Binayak & Sachin are so great in what they do. They are attentive to the needs of the customers and see to it that the foods are in abundance. Yoko from the front office answered our questions patiently and all the staff on duty at the reception desk are also very helpful. Will surely recommend Commodore Hotel to friends and family. Our experience in London is memorable because of the kindness of the British people. Much gratitude from the USA. One helpful tip: From the Heathrow airport you can take the Elizabeth train line going to Paddington train station and pay only 7 pounds per person instead of 150 pounds for the 3 trips my husband and I took. We took the Elizabeth line ( 35 minutes journey with stops, the express train is 15 minutes nonstop but 25 pounds per person fare). We are so grateful for the excellent service provided by the staff.
