Really nice hotel and experience. £280 for a Saturday night stay. We managed an early check in just before 1300. Plenty of room for two friends in a twin deluxe. Beds with mattress toppers, feather duvets and pillows ensured a really comfortable nights sleep. The hotel corridors were quiet. The shower room was large. Water pressure was excellent. Radio from tv played from a speaker in the bathroom. Towels were nice and big. Amenities in the room were great: tea and coffee, water and biccies, a deep fridge (with space for your own goods and no exorbitantly priced miniatures!) slippers, robe and hairdryer were all gratefully received. Twelve noon check out is a godsend, especially on a Sunday. The hotel is nice and fresh and new, despite being nearly open a decade. All staff encounters I had were really pleasant. Location is just behind the Tate Modern. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay, really. I’ll book again when I return to London.

The Hilton Bankside was a dream hotel. They present the best hotel staff I have ever encountered (including all the bigger, "fancier" hotels) I have stayed with. Check-in here was easy. They had plenty of staff and my woman (I think Mylikah) gave me a very thorough briefing of what to expect and a rundown on all the services. The very best kind of welcome with info one could want. The bed and the bedding itself was of the highest quality. The room was quiet, well lighted, insulated for sound, with great closets and a very nice, modern shower. The housekeeping and turndown service was super. Breakfast was excellent, dinners were excellent and the terrace and happy hours were generous, with stylish, comfortable seating and a great covered terrace. I had the best servers out on the terrace (one exceptional young Nepalese woman who really made happy hour happy). There is a top notch weight and treadmill room (24 hours), as well as a beautifully maintained pool area (0600 to 2200). The hotel is two steps from the Tate Modern and a wide range of convenience shopping and other shops. I had some treatments at O'Sullivan's hair/beauty salon only a three minute walk away and was very pleased. O'Sullivan's is very popular so one has to book in advance. Otherwise, the whole Bankside area presents a great neighborhood, with super easy links to the metro. A fifteen minute walk to Waterloo station, the Thames, the London Eye, the eye popping London Bridge at night, etc. This is my go to hotel from now on. I visit London several times a year and I am so happy to have found this bright, professional hotel with its exceptional staff. Management must be very pleased.

I would have liked more comfy seating on the terrace. Most tables were with stools and there was only one low-level seating area with cushions.

As a wheelchair user the hotel is very accessible. Staff in foyer extremely helpful.

I would suggest that the room info online needs to be clearer. I booked an accessible room with a photo of the accessible bathroom with a roll in shower. I was given a room with a bath and was told this was an accessible room with a bath. Staff willingly changed the room to one I booked and needed whilst I went out. Concierge had moved my case into the new room by the time I got back. Clarification is needed as to different accessible rooms. If a room with an accessible shower had not been available this would have left me with some issues.

Check in very smooth and efficient. Staff very welcoming, attentive and professional. Nothing too much trouble. Room nice, quiet and clean, lovely bedding and pillows for great nights sleep. A v good sized pool and jacuzzi and decent sized gym for such a central location. Tate Modern and river just minutes walk away and lots of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets on the doorstep. Waterloo 20 mins walk away. Fantastic location.

The Hilton app I was asked to download to check in but didn’t work for me, my partner or other guests checking in physically. I enquired in advance about the bar with table tennis and Happy Hour and despite good communication from the team, it wasn’t until check in, when I asked, that I was told there was no table tennis. This had been one of the deciding factors in choosing this hotel, as it was my partner’s birthday and he loves ping pong. The front desk apologised and handled it very well but I think maybe this should be removed from the facilities list and photos?

Very nicely decorated, clean, great size rooms, comfy beds, plenty of storage and surfaces, solid bathroom walls and doors instead of the crazy fashion for glass! Gorgeous bathroom and a shower I could have stayed in all day! The staff were efficient and more than polite, couldn’t do enough for us! Complimentary drinks on arrival and turn down service! Had a great night’s sleep, the blackout curtains are fantastic, and it was lovely and quiet! We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked gorgeous! Great location just 2 mins walk from Tate Modern and the river!

The breakfast was the only slightly disappointing thing, could have done with some nicer fruit options and the quality of the bacon, veggie and meat sausages wasn’t great. Having said that I’m being very picky because it was fine and there was lots of choice!

I recently stayed at the Hilton London Bankside and was quite impressed by the warm reception and the spacious, clean room. The little touches, such as complimentary prosecco at check-in, free wine, delightful fudge, and a thoughtful handbag holder for my wife, truly enhanced our experience.

However, although tasty, the breakfast lacked variety and was the same each day. It would be great to see more diverse options to start the morning. Overall, it was a lovely stay with just a slight tweak needed for breakfast.

Exceptional customer experience. It was very busy when we were checking in and being Valentine’s Day, they offered us a glass of Prosecco, which we duly accepted. A lovely touch. Check in took minutes, the room was comfortable. Lovely bathroom, robes and slippers, complimentary water, tea and coffee. Housekeeping turned our bed down which was unexpected. Breakfast had a good choice. I wanted a pot of tea and they sorted that for me. Location is great, it’s away from the hustle and bustle of hotels closer to the west end but within 10 minutes of Southwark tube. It’s close to the Tate and the river and plenty to see on the south bank. It only a walk to get over the bridge toward the city of London and the older buildings. We ate in the bar before we went out, the burger was very good, even if a tad pricey.

Absolutely nothing service wise but the bar prices are a bit of a sting on the wallet.

Concierges where amazing. Very helpful with tips, summoning taxi cabs, etc. The rooms were spacious, facilities are nicely decorated and location is perfect to move around London. The whole staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Beds are not the best, you get that "there are springs under me feeling" immediately. The close design is obtuse at best, no human expects clothes hangers to be facing forward. This might have looked good on a designers' eye but it's totally impractical and just awkward. The TV/AV system inability to connect to user's accounts like Netflix, Amazon Prime, or simply allow for airplay/over the air streaming feels very early 2000s hotel. This might be a country's law limitations but it is a must to have if traveling with children.

breakfast had a very good choice and staff were very polite and attentive. First room had no windows, but staff were able to move us to a better room at a slight cost increase. We had room service on the first evening due to late arrival - Miro was extremely polite - food was delivered quickly and was very good - A little expensive but it is london and room service!!!

The hot food at breakfast wasn't that hot - the scrambled eggs were tepid and the sausages only just warm. this was both mornings - this is a minor point though.
