There could hardly be a better location in Brisbane. Milton is lovely and is approx 8 minutes by train into the city centre . The hotel is built over the railway station which made it super convenient to get around.There are a number of lovely coffee shops within 1 minutes walk and some good restaurants. Apartments were lovely and we had a spectacular view for miles around.
The staff were a little uneven. Sometimes friendly and helpful and sometimes not. It was difficult for two seniors to get their baggage into the hotel at check in. That day the staff were not very helpful. However,over the course of 5 days, some staff were very helpful and friendly especially on our last day. The man on duty told us about the loading zone and assisted in taking our.bags to the car. Perhaps because there are many people actually living in the hotel on the very upper floors, the staff mostly never looked upwhen you entered the foyer, so no cherry Hellos from them!

Stayed one week in apartment at the back of the building. Fascinating views over the railway and beyond but too noisy to use the balcony. Spacious and clean and despite booking without housekeeping, tea bags, washing powders, towels etc replaced regularly. I had already bought all my own in a supermarket. Return visit later we upgraded to a river view with fantastic views over the city and river. Quiet enough to sit and enjoy from the balcony.
The first week's apartment was a little shabby with tired furnishings and iron and ironing board not in good condition but all else fine. Second week the furnishings were cleaner and the room brighter but this time no tea bags or replacement washing products which I had anticipated following the earlier visit and I had disposed of those items I had earlier purchased so a degree of annoyance.

This was our second stay at the Milton.The price is on par with other similar serviced apartments and represents good value. We came back because of it's location next to Milton train station, proximity to cafes and restaurants and the river. Parking is available but it's expensive so next time we probably won't bother with a hire car. Our apartment faced another building under construction or refurbishment, not sure which but we had a lovely view of the scaffolding! The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and clean and was met with our teenaged daughter's approval. So important! We will definitely stay again.

Staff were pleasant and respected and responded to our need for a quiet room. We had a river view room. (Not sure of noise level on other side of accommodation which faced the railway station)City was approx 3 kms away, West End ( great restaurants) 2.5 km away and ferry less than 1 km away. We walked everywhere. Also provided delivery of groceries from Cole’s.
A coffee plunger in room would have been good. This was no big deal as I brought my own after contacting the accommodation regarding a plunger.

Great location close to train, ferry and bus services. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. Room had ample storage and a small safe in which to deposit any valuables.
Unfortunately, while the location is great, the hotel site is next to the rail line and the very busy Milton Road. Rooms overlooking the rail and road are subject to high level of noise.

Great space to stay, lovely pool area with hot tub, sauna, steam room, and BBQ area. The kitchen had everything you needed and the staff were very friendly. A number of great places to eat nearby.
The apartment (mostly the bedroom) wasn't particularly clean, lots of dust. It was quite far away from the city, and it took around 40 minutes to walk. Possibly a disadvantage of the apartment we had, but as it was on the side of the train station, it was quite noisy until late and early in the morning. The WiFi wasn't very good, possibly again, because we were on the 19th floor.

Location as always is excellent. Close to the station, bus to the city and the rivercat.
Have stayed at the Milton about 4 times and have to say the dryers they have installed are just a lot of trouble. Drying of clothes is not their strong point and this has been in every unit I have stayed in. Time to replace with something that works.

I was happy with everything in the hotel.
I was very disappointed that parking wasn’t included, the carpark was half-three quarters empty so there was no reason to make it difficult nor so expensive. This added another nearly $80 to my booking. The reception staffer also tried to insist parking was free on the street all weekend, it absolutely was not (across from the hotel it stated ‘2 Hours all other times’ which means 2 hours maximum. I could have been charged heavily if a parking inspector went by, and so I think staff should be better informed of what Brisbane parking signs mean.

I had dinners and meetings all in Milton. This position was perfect. I could walk to all my locations and there are plenty of Cafes and restaurants around. I always take my own wifi so I can't comment on that but the room was fantastic, view and location were great. Staff were helpful and I could leave my car in their secure parking even though I had checked out.
I was a bit confused where to go when I first arrived. I had to find a park and walk in.

The room was really well laid out, very clean and refreshing! The location was WONDERFUL with the train station right outside and the taxi/uber pick up zone 5 metres from the door. Very easy to relax in the beautiful pool, spa, sauna section.
We couldn't fault it. All amenities were thought of and catered for, with extra thought given. Our TV was slightly flickery but the reception team took the feedback in their stride and went to work to fix it right away.
