My first impression? What a lovely little complex. Everything looked spotless and brand new. The receptionist was very welcoming and informative and brought me to my studio, even carried my suitcase. The studio looked basic but was well laid out with a nice little kitchenette hiding behind double doors and a great sized bathroom with large shower. The bed was really comfortable, just as good as my bed at home; good pillows too. The flat-screen TV was large and had an excellent range of channels including the four UK terrestrial channels. There was a safe in the room which I believe you pay extra for (not sure as I didn't use it). Kitchen comprised of two ring cooker, microwave and fridge and equipment included a kettle and coffee maker, saucepans, plates and cutlery. Towels were plentiful. Room cleaners were on site daily and external areas looked impeccable including the pool area. Although the apartments are a little walk into town, there are good facilities within 2 mins walk of the apartments: a very nice Spar and three or four restaurants, not to mention a lovely gift shop.

There were no chairs in my studio but there were two on the patio so was able to bring these inside. Crockery was minimal though quite enough for me and I imagine I could have requested more if needed. My studio did not face onto the pool area and if I were coming again, I would request this. It meant that I was looking out onto a wall and my studio was in shade during the afternoon and evening. For sun worshippers this would be more annoying. Location was a little further outside town than I'd have liked but easily walkable (15 - 20 mins) and not far from bus stops to local areas.

Hotel was lovely and modern. Situated in the Old Town, there was a steep hill if mobility is an issue but a taxi was less than five euro. Staff were lovely, especially Ron and his wife who manage the snack bar. Complex was small and no sun bed issues they were always available. Spar close by and some restaurants also.

No mirror except in the bathroom. Also advertised as adult only on booking.com however some apartments in the complex are privately owned so children from these apartments can use the kikere facilities. So if adult only is important to you just be aware of this.

The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful from the time I arrived to the time I left. The room was clean and well positioned with the balcony overlooking the road and the pool- which doesn't sound great but actually proved fine because it got the sun for most of the. The pool was clean and well maintained with a good number of sunbeds and parasols available. The cafe/bar was open until 6pm and the person managing it was really accommodating. The complex offers real value for money and ticks almost every box you would want to be ticked for a relaxed vacation. It's also a good base for some lovely, relaxed walks along the coast- turn right, not left when you get to the old town :-) Final point for consideration- there's a Spar nearby which is well stocked and cheap. Perfect for stocking up for the occasional evening of self-catering.

Minor points such as: - some anti-social behaviour by 'residents' could have been dealt with: mainly, for a couple of days some selfish people were allowed to impose their own music on everyone at the pool side -a chopping board in the kitchen space please (I said these were minor points) -the walk to the old town is lovely and easy (downhill). However, the walk back might prove challenging for some- what goes down, must come back up! -the nearby bars/restaurant were 'OK' but nothing to write home about- that's a very subjective observation that I'm sure many would not agree with -I did wonder if there were enough sunbeds to cater for all customers when the complex is at capacity

Really modern, nice spacious room. Kitchen facilities were useful. Good shower. The water went off one day but they got it back on by the time we returned. Nice pool area and a good sized balcony. We had thought it may be a little out of the way but compromised on that as it had air con. Only 5 mins walk from the old town if you are ok with some steep steps

Genuinely thought this was a good place. Kettle & toaster don’t plug in by the kitchen area but there was a side bar where they could go for use.

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and efficient. The accommodation was well located in a quieter part of the old town area though there are building developments very close by that on occasion were noisy. We would stay again but would now want to pick a specific apartment as some are far better located than others. Overall I think it is a very nice place to stay with a lovely pool area. The whole complex was very quiet and comfortable on our 10 day stay.

No wifi on site which is pretty poor in this day and age. My main gripe is that a free transfer was promised on our initial reservation. This did NOT materialise and was very misleading as we then had to arrange travel at the airport on arrival. Paying for a small safe in the room on arrival is also very trivial and should clearly be allowed in the cost of the room. Building works next door and some apartments in poor locations due to that. Our apartment (116) was nicely located so we got lucky!

Loved the layout of this property. Each Studio had great use of space which had everything needed for a short break away. Modern bathroom and sleeping area with all facilities there. Rooms cleaned everyday which was fantastic. Our Studio was right by the pool which was a very relaxing area and the pool cafe had great offerings. While the Studios was a 10 minute fast walk to the Harbour, we found quicker ways to get there but a lot of uphill steps on way back. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great taxi service also.

No Iron available in the Room. We could have been unlucky but it was quite noisy from other guests sitting outside their studios chatting late at night. Overall distance to Harbour & New town.

The location is perfect with local amenities on the doorstep and old town short stroll away. Apartments are great and the onsite cafe is a lovely bonus. All staff lovely and very helpful nothing too much trouble. Would recommend.

Very minor things; I think the areas around the complex could be kept cleaner. Overall the rooms were very clean and the cleaner did come in but floors weren't brushed or mopped during our week stay. Towels in the room could be bigger and better quality. Wifi should be provided on the complex. More than one iron should be available.

Kikere studios was a fantastic place to stay . Location: excellent. Cross the street walk down some steps, minutes along the street and ur in the old town . At the bottom of the steps is also the start of the costal walk to puerto calero . Which is a beautiful walk. Took us about 40 mins each way. One day we got the water taxi back. . Studios- kikere has been refurbished and only opened a few months ago. The studios are very spacious, beds are super comfortable. Cleaning daily is exceptional. Balcony was huge . We were in room 111 which got the sun all day and until the sun went down. Pool area- lots of sun loungers and always chairs free at any time of the day . All loungers are in a Great location for the sun all day with umbrellas too. Pool looked lovely even I didn’t go in . Staff : were very friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Nothing we didn’t like however to improve it would be good to have a full length mirror on the wall with a socket close by, towel rails in the bathroom and a section of the wardrobe that enables full length dresses.

We stayed for 5 nights at Kikere. We just wanted a relaxing break and we couldn't have asked for more. The studios are immaculately clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff couldn't be more helpful. Check-in was easy and the bar service great. They also arranged our taxi back to the airport. The studios are a 10-15 min walk into town. Yes it's uphill on the way back but given the town is pretty much built into a cliff you're doing well to find any accommodation which is not on an elevation to the town! We will definitely be back!

This is well situated with both on street and dedicated parking. It's very close to a lovely coastal walk and you can walk into the centre of town in about 15 mins. So there is loads of choice of what to eat and drink without worrying about driving. The rooms and the poolside are all good and very clean with a little poolside bar. The pool gets lots of sun. The hotel is well situated to explore the rest of the island with just a short drive to one of the main roads up and down the coast.
