We stayed with children and a pet - a mini toy poodle in a family room, very nice and spacious. Very kind and responsive staff both at the reception and in the restaurant. Received a warm surprise gift for the pet and a specially designed towel in the room. Three evenings we had family meals, very tasty, both large steak, chicken breast, grilled salmon and chicken nuggets prepared on site for the children. Breakfast was good. Good location. All possible transport - tram, bus, train. Nearby is a large shopping center with all possible shops, dining options, grocery stores.

Clean, spacious room, with a comfortable bed and hot, powerful shower; friendly, helpful staff (the service desk is open 24/7), and a hearty, well-stocked breakfast buffet, included in the price. Decent sauna facility, located on the ground floor but only open in the evening (16:00-21:00). Right next to Pasila station - with frequent trains to the centre of Helsinki, taking around 10 minutes. The station is located in the Mall of Tripla, which has several supermarkets (K-Supermarket, Lidl, Prisma) if you need any supermarket supplies. A perfect, practical, place to stay if passing through Helsinki for a night or two, especially if you'll be hungry in the mornings.

The breakfasts were amazing! There was a lot of choice and I appreciated discovering traditional Finnish food I enjoyed being in a quiet location away from the centre of Helsinki I enjoyed walking around the area I had my first sauna here

It would have been helpful to have information in English about how to travel to the centre of Helsinki by train, bus or tram.

Very friendly and helpful people. Excellent breakfast. The room was spacious enough. The hotel is in 10 min. walk from the Pasila train station with a lot of trains to Helsinki city center (approximately 5 min in train, it looks like all or almost all trains to the Helsinki main station go through Pasila). So, it is a really convenient place to reach activities in the center of Helsinki. Additionally, near the entrance to the hotel, there is a stop of a tram, which seems to go also to the center. The restaurant in the hotel is very good, but quite expensive, as almost all restaurants in Helsinki (the kitchen closes somewhat early). A lot of shops nearby in the Tripla Mall (5 min. walk).

The Scandic Pasila hotel is situated in the neighborhood that is quite far from the city center. There are some advantages, e. g. one of the biggest shopping malls in Helsinki surrounded by the dynamically developing districts including the former industrial areas full of lofts, restaurants, cultural sites, etc. As for the hotel, it answers all standard expectations. Breakfast was various and delicious. Transport logistics is comfortable, a tram rides down behind the hotel windows, and a metro/railway station is located within the closer shopping mall.

I may explain it by the fact I was silly to have Russian as a basic language of a booking app in my phone. Our family usually speak Russian with each other. When we arrived and tried to check in at the reception desk, a receptionist suddenly asked us to show all our passports and then especially asked about my wife who has Russian passport with a residence permit in Estonia. She interested in her documents and also asked where is her Schengen visa. I answered that hotel clerk has no the same rights as police officer of border guard. Me and our daughters are Estonian citizens, but nevertheless we were asked about our reason to stay in Helsinki and the length of our stay as well after our check out. I consider such attitude as abuse of authority.

Amazing hotel level, especially considering the 3-star rating—it truly felt more like a 4-star, even 4-star plus, experience. Modern rooms, great service, the best gym of any hotel I have seen, an amazing breakfast, and above all, warm, kind-hearted, and considerate staff. Truly excellent.

Room was a bit cold, like all rooms in Finland, in order to save energy. Staff brought a radiator to make my room warmer. Shower door was no longer there when I entered the room. One socket did not work. It was a bit complicated to turn on and off all lights.

I have stayed at other Scandic Hotels before and always enjoyed them, and this one was no exception. They have some of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in and I would almost like to know where I can buy them. I was in Helsinki for a festival outside of the city centre, and the location was good for this purpose. The center itself wasn't too far away, either.

Breakfast was good, but comparing it to the other Scandic hotels I know a bit disappointing. If I stayed there for more than three nights, I would want a bit more variety or daily changes.

Hotel was close to city center, everything was nice and clean, breakfast selection was diverse. Staff was very friendly and helpful and check-in/check-out process was easy.

Parking was for extra charge, the fold-out bed was very uncomfortable, tv didn't work (only message "maintenance in progress.. sorry") and the room door didn't close, unless pushed with force.

Love the beds, the tub, the heated metal hanger, the water boiler and free hot drinks that can be made in our own room! Rooms are clean and staff are pleasant. The breakfast is yummy and that they are promoting recycling.

- Parking should have been free. - Tv-casting did not work in our room. - No slippers, cold to walk to toilet at night. - There could be something new from the breakfast menu for different days. - Small play area for kids.
