The hotel was perfect! Really enjoyed our stay there! The rooms are clean, big and very quiet. The hotel has a sauna and a swimming pool that were perfect for some relaxing after touring the city. The gym was beyond my expectations, very clean and lots of options. The arrival was late at night and although there is no reception at this time everything run very smoothly. The breakfast has a great variety of options for every palate and the summer terrace is also really nice, with nice music to enjoy a glass of beer or something to eat. Everyone in the hotel is very friendly, especially the receptionist who speaks some Greek, she was a ray of sunshine!

Nothing negative to commend. Maybe the summer terrace could stay open a bit longer and please don't put the nutella in the fridge during breakfast, it is so much tastier when it is soft and fluid

The room is very nice and clean. There is a table and plenty of storage. Bathroom is well equipped. And the bed is really comfortable and soft. Swimming pool is a little small, but it is not crowded. I really loved how calm and peaceful the location is. Bus stop and train station are close to the hotel. My special thanks to friendly and helpful staff!

Last time I stayed here there was a kettle in my room, but now there was a coffee machine. I'd prefer to have a kettle, because I mostly drink tea. But it is not a big deal.

The place was wonderful – the room was clean and cozy, and all the necessary facilities were provided. There is a pool and sauna available, which was a nice option to have. Breakfast was included and offered a good variety of dishes. Our plane arrived quite late, so we were a bit late for check-in, but the staff were still there and welcomed us without any problems.

The only drawback is the location, as it’s quite far from the downtown area. However, there is a bus stop just 3 minutes away with a direct line to the city center.

Stayed for 9 days with my father. the hotel includes a lot of extras like sauna, gym, swimming pool and breakfast. The main ones i used where breakfast and sauna and both were good. the location of the hotel is decent with a bus (400) that goes into helsinki very close by. With 15 mins of walking you can also be at a trainstation where you can be at pasilla & Helsinki central station withing 5 mins.

he only real weakpoints i can name are that the bathroom of our room was quite small and the cleaning ladies clean the room a bit late sometimes(once i got back at 15:15pm and they still needed to clean my room)

Reception: Friendly staff and efficient service. Breakfast: Plentiful and freshly put out! Being in Finland, we did notice that there was no fish on offer. (Almost all hotels offer smoked salmon, of herring of some sort). Apart from the fish, we did not miss anything, all was delicious! Room: Spacious and clean! A/C easy to adjust to your liking. Comfy beds, but we got put to sleep by the quiet snoring from the next room. Pool: We did not know about the pool! Next time, we'll bring our costumes!

The hotel reception was warm and welcoming, and everyone was so helpful. I absolutely loved my stay here with my dog. The room was cozy, with air conditioning that cooled it down nicely. There were plenty of opportunities to walk the dog. And of course, the snacks from the hotel reception — my dog gives them a 10 out of 10! :)))

This is just my personal preference, but I would have loved the opportunity to buy proper coffee at the hotel in the evening. It’s really only a small detail, though, and didn’t affect my stay.

Haaga hotel is clean, cosy, comfortabel, relaxed, and has a lot of extra's to offer. Swimming pool, sauna, pool table, fitness. Nearby busstation will bring you directly to the centre of Helsinki. Good airconditioning in the room, modern facilities and a filled minibar will make your stay more than pleasent. The breakfast is good but not outstanding. We can recommend it for your stay in Helsinki.

The beds are good and have a good size, but the matras is a bit stiff and hard. Some will like it, but we prefer softer.

Situated opposite a beautiful natural parkland, which was great for a walk, this hotel was very quiet. My guessing is that it is probably used more for conventions than tourists. I arrived on a Friday evening for a one night stay. The receptionists were lovely; very helpful. They gave me milk when I asked on arrival to make a cuppa in my room. The pool and sauna facilities were great; initially I was in there on my own then one other lady arrived towards the end of my swim. Unfortunately, the massage facility, which I was looking forward to using, was closed during my stay. I was told that it doesn't open on Saturdays. There was a good choice for breakfast (but not as much as some of the other hotels in Helsinki).

The hotel is situated too far from the city centre if you don't have your own transport. The taxi cost us 70 euros from the city centre and 40 euros to the airport (Dec 2024). As far as I could tell, there aren't any bars/cafes/restaurants in walking distance.

The location is wonderful, right next to the Central Park of Helsinki that has numerous and very long hiking and MTB trails.

Late in the evening after about 11pm and early in the morning at about 5am there was a periodic sound of an engine (an industrial washing machine or something?) coming through the walls which lasted about an hour, which interfered with my sleep. The reception desk was temporarily closed both when I arrived and when I left but luckily I didn't have to wait for more than about 5 minutes.

A very friendly and amiable personnel in the reception, magnificent breakfast, additional services for the interests of the client as a pool, gym, yoga, etc. .. In the evening, at the hotel you can find entertainment on your interests.

Small inconveniences are associated with car parking. For parking at the hotel you have to pay extra. If you leave the car on the road nearby to the hotel, only first 4 hours are free of charge, or from 20.00 to 8.00 in the morning.
