Good location within walking distance of shopping district and design galleries. Breakfast is well presented and convenient.

Poorly managed: 2 of 3 elevators sometimes shut down; ice machines broken; empty shampoo dispenser; requested upper floor room which was denied; front desk staff seemed stressed and unwelcoming.

We loved how walkable everything was from this location, security guy was very helpful and greeted us warmly every day? Wish the city view from our room was facing the wall with the kitchenette, i think they missed a chance since our room was on the corner

Breakfast was kinda sad, cream cheese for the bagels would have been nice. The wall behind the pull out table in our room was very dirty, would have been nice to have been able to sign into netflix, no movies to snuggle and watch for our anniversary. Also there is NO ON SITE PARKING, That is something that should be stated in the booking description because we had no idea the parking garage is almost 2 blocks away

We stayed for 4 nights and we enjoyed the city from this spot. It's really close by the Chicago red line station 5 minutes by walk and 10/15 minutes by the riverwalk. The room was nice and the breakfast was excellent!

We didn't like the air conditioning system that was too cold in the common spaces and we had some problems with the cleaning room services, they should clean every other day but in our room they missed 1 day and in 4 days they came only 1 time after our requests and prompts.

Location, guest room size and amenities, maintenance team excellent, lots of fluffy towels, perfect for business travel. Everything during my stay (excluding breakfast) including concierge who were fantastic, is Hilton personified.

Breakfast disappointing, no hash browns, egg full of cheese and bacon so could not eat, no scrambled egg, hamburgers for breakfast??? No pancakes either, only sticky waffles. Yoghurt only came on day 3..... No tropical fruit salad at all. it was ok and better than nothing I suppose, but this is not a standard Hilton breakfast even on a basic level. Printer not working properly in business center, with staff claiming it was fine for print outs to appear with black marks and lines everywhere.......

Was very pleasantly surprised. Excellent facilities, very good service. The room was excellent and looked like recently refurbished. The location was a little way from the lake front but you could still walk it. The breakfast was a surprise as well. We were expecting the typical American style of watery coffee and donuts but there was cereals, toast, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage patties and a endless supply of milk which you could take to your room for cups of tea!

A little bit pricey but to be honest accommodation has gone up so much I'm not sure what is expensive these days!

I recently stayed at Home2 Suites By Hilton Chicago River North for three nights, and it was a great experience overall. The rooms were incredibly spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of space to relax after a long day of exploring the city. The location is fantastic—situated in a nice neighborhood, it felt very safe and secure. Plus, it's close to all the major attractions and conveniently near a BigBus stop, making it easy to get around. There were plenty of great dining and drink options within walking distance, so I never had to go far for a good meal or evening out. The only minor downside was the breakfast service on Sunday morning, where there was quite a long line, and as a vegetarian, I found limited options available. However, this didn’t take away from the overall positive experience. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and will certainly return if I visit Chicago again!

I got checked in earlier than expected because my room had been prepared, and the staff were very friendly upon check-in. The room was way more spacious than I thought it was going to be and pretty clean. The breakfast I had there was simple enough, but pretty hearty to get you through the day. They had things like breakfast sandwiches, waffles, yogurt, and the usual stuff you'd see for an American breakfast. The location of the hotel is in a pretty good spot and close enough to the bus stops so you can get to where you need to. I was able to make it to all the touristy stuff I wanted to without an issue, just took the usual planning, but otherwise the location was great for moving out and about.

The cleaning isn't every day, maybe once every other day due to circumstances after COVID. Or at least that's what it looked like so don't expect you bed to be made everyday and everything to be restocked everyday. I also came there in the winter and the small stuff like the bed lining and blankets could be thicker, but I was prepared otherwise.

The room was spacious and clean, very cozy. We felt like home. All the staffs were friendly kind. The gym was just enough to do what I want to do in the morning. The location was perfect.

The breakfast was disappointing. It was still acceptable but sometimes there is no boiled eggs and just only tiny egg bacon muffins. No greek yogurt… no fresh berries. I wish they have simply greek yogurt, mix berries and some nuts. And boiled egg or scrambled eggs. Some bagels and whole wheat bread toasts… coffee (almond milk, skim milk some choices) Like that it will be enough. Every morning there was self-making waffle (not healthy and it was queuing all the time) very sugary yogurts….

It was a very good stay! The property itself was very clean. Outside the inside the room was very nice as-well the front desk man was very nice too! The room was very clean the bed was comfortable. Snacks on the room when you go downstairs. Overall it was decent not expensive and comfortable.

I thought we had parking paid for but I guess not but it was okay. And it was quite a bit stressful if you aren’t from there the parking was a 5 min walk from the property which is not bad we just Ubered everywhere but very stressful other than that it was amazing,and parking was only 50$. I enjoyed the stay a lot very clean nice view all of it.
