As always Moxy did not disappoint. This is my fourth stay at this location and 2 years in a row for my birthday. I was extremely excited and happy prior to my stay and once entering my hotel room it was the cutest thing ever!! Moxy had decorated my hotel room for my birthday and upgraded my room. The hotel has perfect areas to take photos or make content for social media which is one of my top reasons for staying at Moxy. The free drinks on arrival are a plus not to mention the little goodies I received for my birthday in my card. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for any occasional or just a weekend get away!

Very cute European style boutique hotel. Rooms are small and cozy, but have all the essentials that you need, i.e., a pull-down desk for a workspace, great shower, comfortable bed. 24-hour fitness center is also available. Location is great as well. Very close to the metro / public transport options and a fairly short walk to the Navy Pier if you're looking for a morning run. The staff are very friendly, too! They have DJs playing in the lobby area in the night and plenty of cute games etc. to socializing with friends!

My only issue was the value for money, but the hotel is also located in the Downtown Chicago area and the prices need to be high to compete with other hotels in the area. It's likely prices were also high because it was the weekend before the Chicago marathon and there were also a lot of conferences and other activities in the city that week.

I’m a Brazilian tourist, and I stayed at the Moxy Chicago for a week during the last week of July. My experience was amazing—simple and laid-back vibe, great location for exploring, felt super safe, and had plenty of good food options. And my stay couldn’t have been better, thanks to Jared, Camila, and Cristal. Top-notch customer service—super helpful, attentive, and full of cool ideas for things to do around the city. They made all the difference... Huge thanks to them!

This hotel is so fun, bar and takeout tacos right in the lobby, lots of games to play which was nice when we were exhausted from walking downtown to have something to do right downstairs. Location was perfect for what we wanted. Right in downtown within walking distance of everything

I didn’t realize that they have a DJ playing until 1AM on Saturday nights. So we were concerned about the noise. It’s not too bad but you definitely hear it in the rooms.

The coolest atmosphere ever!!! So clean they accommodated everything I needed. Very patient the hotel was just a complete vibe. miss it lol it was near everything can’t wait to go back!!

The rooms are a bit smaller than usual it would be comfortable to stay alone if you’re not a couple. No microwave in the room it wasn’t one out front in the lobby either however!! The guy got my muffin and took it to the back to warm it😩 truly treated me like family

I loved the moxy so much! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was fun, and the lobby was just as fun! My friend and I can for a concert and we had a blast. Everything was walking distance. The shower was in the middle of the room so that was a little weird but it didn’t bother us. If I ever go back to Chicago (which hopefully I do) I definitely would choose the moxy again!

Fantastic location; it was along the Chicago marathon course and walking/jogging distance/close to the main attractions including the Chicago river, Millennium Park and the Bean, the Art Institute of Chicago, Lake Michigan and to the Magnificent mile. Loved the views out of the room.

The room was small and lacked wardrobe or other space. It also lacked wider breakfast options.

The lobby is such a great part of the stay. We'd happily bring food back to the hotel to enjoy in the nice atmosphere. We loved the large windows and great view of the city.

There are just a couple things that would make the stay even better. Like a garbage in the main room, a more comfortable toilet (it's huge!), more soundproofing from the city, etc.

The lobby area was entertaining, clean, inviting, and comfortable. There were bar games that were in good condition and fun to play. The fireplace was cozy. The rooms were very comfortable and well kept. Great view of downtown. Thoughtful features such as ironing stations on every other floor, which makes ironing much easier than setting up a board in your room, and trying to find the space, etc.

The room was very efficient and clean, had everything I needed. The view of the city was beautiful. The staff was attentive and excellent. My last night I had an issue with an electrical short in the room (not the fault of the hotel) and the staff immediately resolved the issue and switched my room (and the manager followed up the next morning). The bar and lobby area is amazing and I thought the taco restaurant and quick serve area was perfect for grabbing something on the go or a late night snack

I really hate the trend towards not cleaning rooms regularly. At the Moxy they clean the room every 3 days. They say you can ask for daily service, which I did not. I just don't like coming back to a hotel room to an unmade bed and wet towels. They should at least offer to change the towels and make up the beds, even if it is not a full cleaning
