We appreciated a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival. We were very jet lagged by the time we arrived. All of the reception staff we met were most helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was very extensive and we enjoyed it.

Unfortunately the safe in our room was faulty and we only discovered this after having fully unpacked. It was quite an effort, after so many hours of flying to have to pack up and move rooms. However we appreciated the efforts of reception staff to make things right. They upgraded us to a slightly larger room. On the last day, when we’d run out of handwash, we returned after 1.30 pm to find our room hadn’t been cleaned. We asked at reception. Disappointing that we had to ask. Housekeeping returned to clean the room late in the afternoon, by which time we needed to pack and rest for a very early start the next morning.

Great location, particularly for concerts at the stadium! Breakfast was brilliant, so many options. Beds were super comfortable. Staff were great. Coffee and snack bar at reception were also handy.

The lifts were a bit sporadic and didn't follow the direction people were calling them, they could go in any direction, even if you were already going down.One also got stuck on the 9th floor and the others wouldn't come, as there was already one there (stuck). All our rooms smelled a bit of drains, on inspection, it looks like the drains are 'open' to drain the wet room shower, so maybe that's why they smell.Thought it might just be on arrival, if rooms have been empty, but it kept coming back.

1. The location is great, just next to the tram station. 2. Breakfast is good with many choices. 3. The room is spacious.

1. It's quite dark inside the room (we've turned on all of the lights) 2. It'd be so helpful if there was a sign at the front desk showing passengers that the hotel sells the HSL single ticket. We're struggling with how to buy a single ticket for the way to the airport. And the staff could have told me the hotel sells it when I went to him for the first time. (there is no ticket machine at the tram stop which next to the hotel) 3. It'd be appreciated to show the reception number directly on the hotel phone or at least next to it, there is no number and instructions on the phone telling passengers how to dial it. ( it turned out that the instruction is next to the other hotel phone which is next to the toilet...)

We often stay in Scandic hotels when travelling in Nordic countries and always find them to be a consistently good value and nice experience. The Scandic Park is no exception and is one of the nicer Scandic hotels we’ve stayed in. It’s very kid-friendly with a play area in the lobby and it’s great to have an indoor pool! Great location in a quiet neighbourhood by a park but still close to central train station, only a few stops away on the tram or bus, both of which are located right out front of the hotel. The rooms are very nice and spacious by European standards. We had a family room with 3 beds and there was still plenty of space. The room had a beautiful view of the park and the city. We could even see the Cathedral and Linnanmäki amusement park. The breakfast was delicious with a very nice variety. Overall a good value and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a good value for our money in the family room with two kids. Breakfast ist plenty and good. Good location in front of a park with playgrounds and close to public transport. There was also the possibility to leave our luggage after checking out for free I will definately consider Scandic also for future vacations.

Guests were asked to book breakfast time in order to avoid too busy times at the buffet. I prefer just going relaxed downstairs when everyone wakes up and is ready instead of setting a timer in my vacation. However - good was that there was explained which times are busy and relaxed breakfast times.

no car parking place for visitors!!! Need pay for 12hrs parking ~25eur!

Very pet freindly, there is a big park across the road. Rooms and bed where big and nice. Very quiet. Bed and pillowes where bit hard but still confordable. Elevatiors are fast and there are 3 of them so low risk of running into other dogs :) Brekfast is avarage, you can get something but it's not special (bacone was very salty). For cars is garage, although the spots are rather narrow they are still big enoght - love that you can came and go as you please and don't need to worry if your car has a spot.

From garage to the reseptions you need to use stairs (only few steps but still need to carry the luggage, or if disabled it would be hard).

It is very close to the central station, with only one stop, you can go by bus or walk. The hotel is quite large and has hundreds of rooms, the price was quite good including breakfast.

On the last night, the fire alarm went off in the hotel and all rooms were evacuated. Firefighters came, but we couldn't get any information about what exactly happened. We stayed out with the children for two hours between 12 and 2 a.m., and no apology or compensation was offered.

The comfort of the rooms is very good. There is everything you need for a pleasant stay. The breakfast is very good with a great variety and an effort to satisfy all tastes. When there are a lot of customers they also open a dining place on the 9th floor which is very convenient. The location is perfect.

Some of the reception staff are not friendly. For 6 nights they didn't give us new tea in the room (I had to get some from breakfast). They didn't refill toilet paper on time. No slippers in the room - cost 5 euros if you want them.

The hotel was across the street from the National Opera - this was the reason for our booking. Our room was very comfortable and nice - we stayed with a group of three in a junior suit type of a room.

We did not like the lobby as much as our room - it was often crowded so that there was difficult to walk to the elevators and it was not a cosy place to stay and spend time. The worst thing about the hotel is that they do not have a bar or restaurant open between 10 AM and 5 PM.
