Perfect location. Few minutes walking distance from main attractions. Very clean. The room was in perfect condition, it looked like everything was new. Although it’s on a main street, we couldn’t feel any noise.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. No issues. Excellent location. It’s on a busy road but you don’t hear any noise inside. Breakfast is provided off site at a local cafe/bakery - this is very good although it consists of a drink and one pastry item.

Getting to it from the train station was fairly hard work with cases. (No fault of the property) but the main road it’s located on is busy with traffic and pedestrians and with narrow uneven footpaths. Also don’t even look and try to follow at property numbers they make no sense …. Put the address in phone maps and follow that! Or look for OVS clothing shop it’s about 3 doors after that on the left hand side. *Note turn left in the main concourse of the train station (not right like we did!) otherwise you’ll need to walk right around the station exterior and navigate a busy road junction.

Our room was nice and clean with everything we could need for our stay. The location was ideal close to the station and market. Breakfast is at a cafe 5 mins walk away and with wonderful pastries. We had lovely meals at the restaurants across the road. Bonus in the room was a fridge with complimentary drinks provided and fresh water added each day. The lady on reception was very welcoming and gave us some great advice on our first trip to Florence

Nothing - we were a bit concerned that the room might be noisy due to being on busy street but we heard nothing once we were in the room

The cleanliness and location were amazing, and the staff were very pleasant. The receptionist kindly waited for us to check in, which we really appreciated. We’re not demanding guests, so we only asked for our room to be cleaned once during our five-night stay—and that was perfectly sufficient. The heating rack in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch and very helpful for drying clothes. The complimentary minibar snacks and drinks were a nice bonus. The only thing we felt could be improved was having a bit more bottled water in the room, but it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay! Thank you so much for having us!!!

Just the breakfast organization: you go to a cafeteria outside of hotel and get a cup of tea/coffee + croissant. Cappuccino was superb however I expected more selection of breakfast:) but we stayed for 2 nights so it was okay Those who want to indulge in proper breakfast (eggs, cereal, savory breakfast) need to find another place to eat or purchase your own savory breakfast in the same cafeteria

Mary is so polite and kind! And the location is great! The room was perfect, clean, and they give you for FREE whatever is in the mini bar!! They also offer you to take water bottles daily for free and yogurt and coffee from the reception area.

Below are just a couple of minor challenges we faced, but they would not be a reason not to book again. The experience was so wonderful that we would GLADLY BOOK AGAIN!! :) 1. If you have a big luggage, it will be a bit of a struggle to keep it open someplace in the room, as the space next to the beds is a bit small. 2. The fact that there is no elevator was also a bit challenging (my fault for not realizing upon booking), but nevertheless, Mary was so kind and helped us carry our luggage up the stairs all the way to the 3rd floor!

The listing was very accurate although according to many reviews the minibar had wine and beer provided and there was only soft drinks in the fridge. The bed was very comfortable, we were only the first floor with outside access so this was perfect when you needed some fresh air. The room was cleaned daily and towels changed at your request. The host was also very helpful. My husband had a lovely stay and the location was perfect.

Being bitten by mosquitos despite air con and a plug in device. The outside space is a little tired and needs some tlc.

Great staff, welcoming at check in, provided complimentary water every day as well as coffee/tea. Allowed us to store our luggages at check out prior to our departure. Location was good within 10 minutes walking distance to Duomo. Good value considering other options in Florence.

Noisy (which is communicated in advance) Rooms were on the small side which is normal for Florence. Air conditioning unit was a bit loud. One of the rooms we had booked was tiny.

We were not expecting much from this place - but it totally exceeded expectations! From the greeting when we arrived, to being able to not only leave our bags, but they magically appeared in our room later, to the comfort of the bed to the free bits in the fridge - it was all wonderful! Yes its an old property in the centre of Florence - so you are going to have noise other rooms, but thats Italian living! We were at the back of the property - I would not liked to have been at the front :)
