Convenient location for all the attractions. Very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very difficult to find. No 45 in this street does not follow 43! It was closer to no 32. It is next to the American diner and a doorway with a small plaque on the wall. It’s also up 7 flights of steps with no lift.

Perfect location just 10 minutes walk from the Duomo and the main train station. The room was large and spacious with high ceilings and efficient air conditioning. We had a triple room with plenty of space. Staff were so friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast Very quiet and peaceful with a beautiful little roof terrace with panoramic views over the city and Duomo

Hotel is on 3rd floor so not so good for physically challenged but great for burning off the pizza and gelato! Staff were very helpful with getting luggage up and down so not a problem for us

Great location, clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was good, some different breads would have been nice. Staff were friendly and polite.

No facility to make a hot drink in the room, 70 steps to get to the accommodation and the access to the roof terrace was challenging.

The property was within easy walking distance to the main train station and also close to main attractions.The bathroom was lovely, there were some toiletries and really good quality towels. The bed itself was comfortable. There was a roof terrace that you could access as well which gave you a really great view over the city. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and also helped carry one of our cases up the flights of stairs.

There was no lift available so all luggage had to be carried up the 3 flights off stairs although as I mentioned earlier help was available.

I was skeptical at first, after reading the last reviews and almost did not book, but now I’m glad I did! First of all, this is not really a hotel, it’s more like apartments in a big building in city center. From the outside, it doesn’t look like a hotel, there is only a plaque at the main door with the name of the Locanda. The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean, AC was working, having in mind that there was a super hot August day, it was a must to have it. B-fast was continental, simple, but ok. Parking is near the hotel, you have to leave your car there and walk to the hotel, as there is nowhere to park in front of the hotel. That’s about 3 min walk. It cost 32€/day.

This property was fantastic! A really good location in Florence, approximately 10 minutes from Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station and also from Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection, enough choice to start the day off well before setting off into the centre for exploring. The rooftop terrace was our personal favourite part about the property, as it offered a good perspective of the city. An area for improvement would be to have stronger hairdryers - not a dislike about the property but something to bear in mind as they’re not too powerful. A wonderful stay! Location was near all the famous attractions. Also near the train station. I could walk to the ponte vecchio, the palazzo vecchio, the bus and train station. The market too. The hosts changed the sheets and the towels every day and cleaned the room. Also gave me shampoo and shower gels every day. Room was absolutely amazing-big, with high sealing, with big bed and a wardrobe and a chest drawer and mirrors. Bathroom - very good-big, clean, with hairdryer.

Sometimes there was a smell of food cooking in the room , I don't know where it came from.

The location is excellent and the property was everything we expected it to be, breakfast was relaxed and suitable. We really enjoyed going to enjoy a drink in the roof and taking in the views from there. The staff were really great It was 37-38c while we were there and the air conditioning kept the room cool - which for a building like this is impressive.

Not enough shampoo and shower gel was provided. There was a bit of a dip between the two beds pushed together

The position of the B&B is perfect. It’s really easy to get to see all the sights. It’s really close to the market hall, which is a great place to eat for atmosphere and low cost. The bed was large and very comfortable. The views from the roof terrace of the Duomo and Campanile are amazing. It’s a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine enjoying the view. However, to access the roof terrace you have to negotiate a steep spiral staircase, which could be difficult for some. Breakfast is typical continental, with good coffee.

The B&B is on the fourth floor and there’s no lift, so if you have a heavy suitcase, it’s a bit of a struggle to access.

Comfortable bed and decent size room. Staff are friendly and assertive. This is more of a bed and breakfast type of accomodation, don't expect hotel like service. It is a walking distance from city center and there are many stores and restaurants nearby, so that was great.

I failed to notice that this property does not have an elevator and it is on the third floor of the building. Being 7 months pregnant this was a challenge for me, but we stayed for 4 days only so it was manageable. Breakfast was okay, the same choices every day, could be better (more veggies and fruit options for example, toaster was not working properly).
