Great location - 5 mins walk to tram station for the airport (and 20 mins on tram to airport), 10 mins walk to Duomo and 20 mins walk to Ponte Vecchio. Clean and modern rooms. The rooftop pool and sun loungers were great as it was a heatwave. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

The soundproofing between the bedroom door and corridor - a guest was hammering on the door next door and shouting at another guest through the door early in the morning and it sounded like it was my door - woke me up. But soundproofing between the rooms and floors seemed good as I didn’t hear anything. The room was compact - fine for me for one night (and would have been fine for a long weekend), but would be tight for 2 people for a week stay.

Quite literally a 10 minute walk from the main train station, straight down one road, the hotel is easy to get to. Upon arrival for check-in, we were greeted with a warm smiling welcome. Great information about the hotel and our stay were provided along with a map of Florence and recommendations. A fantastic way to start out in a new city! The rooftop pool is stunning! The views incredible with a nice bar service. Staff were always so friendly and helpful. Please note the one downside is the prices of drinks and food but upon exploring the city, Florence in general is not a cheap city at all so it falls in line. We loved the pool and lounging in the Tuscan Sun. A great way to take in the city high above the street noise and crowds. All the way through our stay, we felt welcomed and they accommodated us in every way even going so far as to make a reservation for a restaurant for us. Very helpful. Also, the breakfast buffet was actually quite fantastic. Varied and plentiful!

It can be considered expensive, both per night and for food and drink. But it's Florence and we discovered it's not an inexpensive destination all across the city.

Hotel Glance in Florence exceeded all our expectations. It’s centrally located, spotlessly clean, and offers a truly high standard in every detail. The breakfast was excellent, and the rooftop with its pool was a wonderful bonus – perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was modern, well air-conditioned, and had no carpet flooring – something that was very important to us. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, far better than the average hotel bed, and the pillows were just perfect for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was equipped with high-quality toiletries, and everything was sparkling clean. You can tell that cleanliness and guest comfort are top priorities here. We wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Glance and would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Florence. A truly outstanding experience – thank you for having us!

Best location in Florence. We arrived by train (5 minute walk from Santa Maria Novella Station) and as you step outside the hotel, you are immediately in the centre of Florence. Many restaurants and shops to choose from and Ponte Vechhio bridge and the Florence cathedral are less than 10 minutes walk away. The hotel is contemporary and clean and breakfast has many choices. The rooftop pool and bar area were fantastic and a beautiful place to sit and look at the sunset while sipping our aperitif. Staff at the hotel were great and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Florence. Thank you to the staff of Hotel Glance for a great and memorable stay! ☺️

The staff was friendly and helpful. Corrina, Stephanie and front desk staff personnel were very friendly and helpful. Also, the chef would always come out and check her food and make sure everyone is happy. She takes much pride in her food and deserts that she makes.

Everything was fine, maybe add more hooks in bathroom to hang towels. But otherwise, everything was great.

The staff were lovely, helpful and kind. The hotel was spotless clean, central, and quiet. While there was no view from the room, we didn't request this. The room facilities were excellent, as was housekeeping. The view from the pool was beautiful, and the pool space was excellent. The other guests were friendly which added to the atmosphere. Breakfast was fantastic in terms of the setting, the staffing, and the variety and quality of the food.

Loved the location next to the train station/trams for getting to and from the airport but also next to the main attractions. The staff were all so friendly and help and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and a variety of food and drinks available. The pool and rooftop bar was a great addition. The rooms were clean, decent size and had good storage and nice touch of free water each day.

Not much, perhaps the roof top bar being closed at 10pm and the door locked, we had wanted to sit outside later on our last day but it was locked. Also the pool had limited loungers (only 5) but this was not a problem for us but could be in peak season.

The location was great and staff were very friendly. The breakfast was nice with plenty of food options. I love the pancake making machine!!! Room was comfortable and clean be it a little small. Bathroom was large with a great shower.

The pool area lacked sun loungers and chairs in general. One member of public stole my chair and was quite aggressive when I took it back during her time at the bar (I was at the bar when she took my chair). Pool bar opening at 2pm is also quite late.

Excellent location, room checked a number of times each day. My teenagers loved the pool. Extremely accessible to all sights, breakfast plentiful in a lovely setting. Rooms had air conditioning which was very helpful in 38 degree heat. Thanks to Corinna on reception for helping us with restaurants and taxi at 5.00am to Pisa.

Fair breakfast, with good options of protein, dairy, breads, fruits, juice and pastry. Regarding location, the hotel sits in between the Santa Maria Novela train station and the Duomo, which makes it really good to walkers. The pool has sun light the entire day and provides an awesome sunset view. The staff's excellent mood is definitely a plus! Would stay here again.

There was some presence of mold in the tiles joint in the shower box, which I didn't expect in a place with these rate of reviews score and price. Just that, definitely.
