The location is the best. You are a few yards away from Seaport Village, which is a must for some quick food or an evening walk. Walking distance to the Navy Ship, Gaslamp district, convention center and Petco Park.

Parking...The first time we stayed, we valeted our vehicle, which was convenient, but we had our vehicle damaged, possibly from being parked in the tight garage. This time, we decided to self park. The parking garage is space out for tiny vehicles. Most vehicles that are parked are oversized (norma sized vehicles), that are double parked. Even if you are parked within the lines, you will hit the vehicle close to you, when you open the door. We had selfed parked for the first 2 nights, then decided to valet, because it was difficult to find parking spots. Also, the valet staff, at times, are not available-especially late nite returns. The Elevator on the Harbor Side, gets pretty busy in the evenings.

We absolutely loved it! Our family had an AMAZING time! The location couldn’t have been better. The Santa Fe Depot was just two blocks from the hotel, making it incredibly convenient to take the bus or train around the city and to the airport. While the restaurants were a bit pricey, we found a grocery store nearby, which was helpful. We all enjoyed swimming in the heated pool. Everything shown in the pictures and on the hotel’s website is exactly as described. I highly recommend this hotel for its fantastic location, proximity to the seaport, and the stunning views from the room!

Nice location just a 100m from the bay. The hotel has excellent facilities, basketball courts, swimming pool, a great hotel gym, pickleball courts etc., which are all free to use. The room is comfortable and is probably more 4 star than 5 star standard let down by things like a shower curtain over a bath and no separate shower, but in general it is comfortable and good for a family stay. The breakfast for an American hotel is very good indeed, probably the best we have had in America and while the choice doesn't match an Asian 5 star hotel it was all good quality I would recommend including this in your room booking. Very quiet, no noise at all.

The price of drinks and food in the bar and restaurant is ridiculous, a beer was $17 for instance! It is also irritating that the breakfast serving is set up to encourage tips, it was a hassle getting drinks and they were often incorrect and it would be much easier if they had a juice section and place to simply get your tea and coffee, rather than a service for drinks which seems unnecessary as its not like you don't have to get up for your food in any case. The wait for reception was also very long at times.

Ria at check in was very efficient and helpful. She is geared towards doing the needful to encourage clients for recurring stays at this hotel. She is a possible candidate for a managerial position. There was a lady at breakfast, not sure but I think her name was Lesley who was always ensuring that both at the entrance and the restaurant the guests were being taken care of. Saw her also cleaning up the mess created by some kids immediately after occurring, which was indeed impressive. She comes across as a valuable employee. The breakfast was superb with great choices. Could not have been better in any other hotel.

The food at Sallys fish place was not up to standard. The dishes lacked flavor. Also had to wait quite a bit to catch the attention of the waitress to get my bill.

This property is located in what I feel is the most beautiful part of the San Diego Downtown area, it is adjacent to Seaport Village which made it very convenient to walk over in the morning for a coffee and to enjoy the views of the Bay. The entrance to this hotel was very spacious and grand, with the check in being a breeze. After I dropped off my luggage in the room we went back down stairs to the Lobby bar to have some drinks and grab a bite to eat. The bar was very nice and lively and had plenty of televisions to watch the game. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Downtown area.

It was a very posh hotel and very welcoming, well decorated for Christmas. The staff was very friendly. The rooms don't have microwaves but we needed to warm our pet food and they brought one to our room. The parking was convenient and the location with the back side of the hotel letting out to Seaport Village was great. Really fun shopping, restaurants and park for our pup.

The self parking fee was pretty steep...it wasn't a surprise but still it was nearly $50 a night which seems a bit ridiculous. The bathroom sink had a big crack in it. It didn't leak or anything but it felt like a contrast to the nice accommodations.

We upgraded for $10 per night to a seaview and it was amazing - we had a room on 24 floor and the view really made the stay. The quality of the food in the lounge restaurant was great but the drinks ere VERY expensive from $20 per glass of wine or $15 per beer.

We were disappointed with the closed roof pool and spa. The hotel hosted a lot of conferences and at times was over busy in the bar and restaurant plus the lifts were playing up and we had to use the service lift.

The rooftop movie theater was SO cute and fun. The sport courts were great! The fitness center was SO clean and HUGE and fantastic. The location was perfect. We were able to enjoy the market just outside, and walk to the hop on and off tour bus stop, and tons of places to eat and the aircraft carrier.

The pool area was PACKED and not super clean - and very loud. I understand it is a dog friendly hotel, and I love dogs, but it was weird to be sitting at the outdoor pool / fire place with two anxious German Shepards. The parking was expensive, but I get it. Microwave on each floor might be nice - don't need one in my room, but had to go to 4th floor to reheat coffee.

Great location, well kept and great dinning variety.

Elevators are a joke. Waited for elevators every time. Most would arrive completely packed after a 5-10 wait and we would have to wait again until the next one which sometimes was packed as well.😡😡 Check in was a joke. The Valet told us we were in luck because there was not a line. There were literally 3 people in front of me and it still took me close to 25 wait to be seen by check in staff. Ridiculous! It does not take that long to check in. These two things need major improvement at this hotel.
