I thought the hotel was of an international standard. The vibe in the lobby was lovely. The room was big with a comfortable bed and generous bathroom. The pool was great.

I found the man working at the bar to be rude and dismissive. I was waiting for my family and thought I would have a wine while I waited. He was cold and didn’t give a damn. I would have had another drink but couldn’t be bothered. I also asked about happy hour, as we wanted to do that, but the reception looked at me like I was nuts and had never heard about that. Even got a man from out the back to come and tell me I was confused…. So, then I saw an ad in our room, about happy hour at a bar on the first floor. Lost opportunity… too late by then. I feel the hotel is generally good, but the staff are a bit lacking and didn’t give me a good feeling.

The bed was massive and comfortable. My wife and I had a great nights sleep. The hotel itself was a few hundred meters from the Sky Tower, casino, and Queen St for shopping. The bathroom was big, with a shower and bath and also another toilet in the living area. The restaurant (ember)had great food and friendly staff as well. We also received complementary parking, which saved us quite a lot of money as parking can be expensive in the CBD.

Loved our stay! Beautiful rooms, great location - easy walk to restaurants, fast and yummy room service, love the pool and sauna, really friendly service. And such a great price!!

Buffet breakfast could’ve had more options. Was basic but still yummy! Eggs bene from the menu had salmon that tasted off (my whole family thought so) chef smelled and didn’t agree, so we assume maybe they just use cheap salmon that is just funky in general. Few things in the room were falling apart, could do with a bit more up keep.

Staff were excellent and the service was very good too, except for a slight delay in getting our car with the valet service. The rooms were a good size clean and tidy, the bathroom was dated. The shower is too small and the toilet needs to be a self close one as the existing one is too heavy and loud if dropped. It would be better to not have a bath and instead a larger shower with rainfall shower head options. Television channels were good with satellite channels too. The breakfast is very good with a mass of options for almost every taste but the gluten free bread needs replacing, the one used is not good. Overall a very good stay.

Location was handy

Surprisingly, no hand washing liquid nor soap in the room! Need to call the room service for soaps!! That tells me something routine work wasn’t done completely. Over the phone with the room service, when I stated that there was no hand washing liquid in the bathroom, the reply was we don have that. However, they didn’t ask if soap is needed or offer to provide soap. At a 4 star hotel, such service is not that impressive! An attitude should always be trying to make the guests’ stay feel as welcomed and as comfortable as if they are home. To see their needs and offer every possibility to help.

Lovely spacious Hotel, probably one of the best of our tour around Perth, Melbourne, Sydney & Auckland. Room was very spacious (We chose a Superior Twin Room). Restaurant for evening Dinner & Breakfast was excellent. We were on the 5th Floor, all very quiet up there. There is a superb 2-Tier relaxation area in the Reception area, which is massive, a good holding/waiting area. Only a 10-minute walk to the Sky Tower, and a further 10-minute walk to the Harbour where there are some great Restaurants & very cool Bars. We went to Wight & Wong`s, as well as Soul Bar, both in the Harbour area. Very close by, visit the Ferry Building, a big Orange-coloured brick building, a great place to eat & drink with fab Harbour views. Enter via the road side of the building, opens from Noon. Only a 25-30 minute Taxi ride from the main Airport. This cost about 70 AUD, £35. We had an issue with a Taxi driver wanting to charge too much for a short journey, so I went inside and spoke to Rupert, who diplomatically, firmly and skilfully solved the problem. Many thanks, Rupert! Overall, a very comfortable stay for 3 nights. I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Check-in & Check-out was painfully slow. There were enough staff, just TOO SLOW!

Room view was good and room itself was spacious, clean and had everything needed. We received a 1x step upgrade so the room was at the front of the hotel which was really nice. Breakfast offering was OK, have been to other hotels where there was slightly more choice. Staff all very friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful. Pool and sauna was lovely.

The rooms air conditioning was quite loud but got very hot without it. The room was not carpeted (laminated flooring throughout) which may have stopped the sound being absorbed quite as much, A few little things needed fixing (door handle casing in the bathroom) and we did check in with 1x dirty mug left in the kitchen area, however staff replaced immediately and were very apologetic.

Lovely room. All essentials provided.( Iron/ board, hairdryer, fridge, safe ) AC worked, so often this is not the case. Bathroom had a great bath as well as shower. Fab water pressure. Comfortable bed, easy access to night light switch, again so often it's just out of reach. Car parking easy, hotel is attached to large public carpark. Park there and fees are reduced for hotel guests. Direct access from carpark into hotel Valet parking available for a fee, but really not needed. Staff helpful, extended my checkout time by an hour, which was just what I needed. Nice bar. Restaurant looked interesting but didn't dine in. Good location

All good

Super easy parking. Easy check in with friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room that was quiet. Excellent pool facility that the kids loved. Lovely location to other places like Queen St but also great food facilities on site. Ronald from down at breakfast - he clearly loves kids and was so so lovely with our two.

Buffet breakfast is a little steep in pricing considering the coffee is from an automatic machine and doesn't work particularly well - both times it wasnt working well but the first morning we were then offered a proper barista one. Beds were very very soft - not our preference but could be others.

How clean it was. How clear the signs were to go somewhere - directions from staff as well as signs on the walls. Easy parking that connects to the hotel. Easily accessible. How friendly and accomodating the staff were - we were on our way back to the room and a staff member asked if we were the ones that asked to have the league put on the tv upstairs, so he had gone to get the remote to turn it on without realising it was on the other tv. The pool was warm & changing rooms kept warm too. The cute little surprise that was delivered from staff of the hotel for my birthday.

Not being able to have a glass of wine on the patio near the pool.
