I LOVED that we didn't have to see anyone to check in or out - digital lock with a code sent on the day meant that we could arrive and get settled on our schedule. The facilities were impressively clean with a very well stocked kitchen and a very comfortable bed. Lovely location, ample on-site parking, quiet and well soundproofed rooms - our friend was staying immediately downstairs, and she couldn't hear us moving around at all. We will definitely consider staying there next time we need to be in Christchurch.

The only thing I'd suggest is some additional pillows available as the ones we had were on the thin side.

All staff super-friendly and helpful. Large, clean, well-presented room. Good selection of complimentary teas. V convenient location close to CBD, eateries etc - v reasonable rates, especially when taking the latter into consideration. Always a Lime electric scooter available within close proximity.

The room I had was next to the main road (Bealey Ave) so could get somewhat noisy with traffic during the morning rush-hour, but not a major issue as I was generally up and about at that time anyway.

Great location and enjoyed walking to Hagley Park, restaurants and downtown. Outstandingly clean. Small thoughtful additions to make stays comfortable- electric blankets, hand towel and paper towels and variety of utensils in kitchenette, 2 stools for breakfast bar height bench. Liked that the rubbish bin allowed both rubbish and recycling.

We found the bed very soft, so if you have a bad back, don’t stay here.

The owners are very helpful and friendly. The unit was quiet (despite the motel being on a main road) and well appointed. The kitchenette has everything we needed for a short stay and meant we could have breakfast in the room (could have done other meals too if we’d wanted). The location is excellent- about 10 minute walk to the Avon River and the centre of the city. Strawberry Fare and a number of other restaurants are within a few minutes walk. We had an excellent stay!

The location was fabulous, so central to the city (10 minutes drive). We were initially booked for 3 nights but 2 days before realised we should have booked for 4 nights. This request was able to be accommodated by Amross for which we were very grateful. We were upgraded from a Studio apartment to a 1 bedroom apartment.

There wasn't anything about Amross to dislike

The only ship of the property was very attentive to my needs. I use their barbecue once laundry service several times.👍 they actually lent me a chair which I used for the sparks in the park concert which I attended they went above and beyond I appreciate your efforts

Overall good value for Property and Services The location was a little closer to the airport, but not a major problem

The room was spacious and well lit, there were ample coffee, tea supplies - the heater worked a treat, the bathroom was great, lots of areas to set up for work etc...

maybe an armchair that was a little more soft and plus would have been nice but otherwise it was great

The hosts, Vincent and Ann, went out of their way to accommodate my needs at a particularly stressful time. I cannot speak highly enough of their care and compassion. The units were spotlessly clean, very well presented and provided everything needed to make it feel like a home away from home. Thank you so very much!

Great location walking distance to a number of restaurants and eateries. Reasonable sized room and bathroom. Kitchen included microwave, sink, toaster, kettle and a range of glassware and crockery

Room configuration wasted a lot of space with an entry doorway. No cooktop

The room was comfortable and spacious, with very good facilities, heating and much-appreciated aesthetic touches like Jo Ogier's framed prints featuring native birds, displayed in the sitting room and the bedroom.

I had to look for the extra duvet for the main bedroom under the stored pillows to be warm enough at night and occasionally the kitchen kettle didn't work for some reason. There was also an outdoor party next door on Easter Saturday, which delayed my sleep but the participants were enjoying themselves, without incidents.
