Bowls headquarters were at Burnside so Casino Court was central to that plus all the other venues we played at. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They even did our load of laundry for us, as we stayed 9 nights and needed clean clothes for bowls. I also loved that Netflix was available and used it a lot. I'd stay there again if I came to Christchurch again

The washing line was overgrown so you can't hang long clothes on it or they are in the plants

We had a one bedroom unit with a double bed in the lounge and 2 singles in the bedroom. It was a downstairs unit and there was no problem with noise from the rooms above us. It had cooking facilities and crockery and cutlery. It was very well equipped with heaters and everything we needed for our stay. The unit was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful.

Casino Court is very well placed for tourists to get to see everything. the City has many interesting tourist attractions. Shops and many restaurants were only minutes away. Our room was surprisingly large with a separated kitchen. It provided all the facilities we required. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of warm coverings and extra pillows.

There are no negatives.

He manager showed us to the room and explained different things how it works. He was very friendly and helpful. As we wanted to go to town, we found out, that we could not lock the door. We spoke to the manager and he tried to fix it, but could not. He gave us another room (an upgrade) and we were very happy. The room was clean and had everything what we needed. The bed was very comfy. Only a short drive to the city of Christchurch and to many restaurants and cafes.

There is nothing, what we didn't like.

The rooms and kitchen were very clean. The owners were friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable staying at the Casino Court Motor Lodge. It was very easy getting into the centre of Christchurch with bus stops outside the motel. And if you are up to it, it is a nice walk to Hagley Park and into Christchurch.

We thought the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was modern and had a great heat lamp so it was lovely and warm when getting out of the shower. The room was plenty big enough for our family of four to have our own space and we especially liked that the kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner so we cooked most nights. The best thing about the hotel room for me was my dust mite allergy didn't flare up which happens in many hotels so I was very pleased with the standard of cleaning.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

Very large one-bedroom suite. Next to busy road but triple glazing kept out all external noise. Very friendly and attentive owners. Great location. Stayed for 6 nights and will definitely stay again.

TV lost cable access on first night and although it was replaced with free-to-air TV, spent the rest of the visit without cable channels as no alternative TV was available. Steep steps to upstairs suite was fine for us, but could be difficult for less agile people.

Location was great, and the owners were lovely! I was there for the Great Kiwi Beer Fest and the wonderful lady at reception offered to supply me with Panadol in the morning if I needed it from a hangover. So great! Super friendly staff, and wonderful location. A couple of blocks from the city centre and Hagley Park. Beds were so comfy and the shower was wonderful.

Only downside was the noise, more so on the Saturday night than the Friday. But they did have double glazing on the windows so could have been worse! Only other tiny (like minuscule) thing is Delilah the cat that lives there didn’t come say hello! Hehe.

Everything really. Good beds and linens. Heaters to warm up the room. The kitchenware provided was a good selection for use in cooking our own meals. Room was spotlessly clean and parking was right outside our door. Lovely property overall and friendly staff.

Hosts Rita & Matt went way above the call of duty to make our stay a great one. Truly very kind, attentive people who did everything to help us. The rooms are very large, spacious & impeccable. Fabulous location. We will return gladly!
