Huge open unit that comfortablely fit 4 adults!! Loved there was a washer & dryer as we had been riding motorbikes in dust & dirt for a week - so we took advantage of that!! Lovely balcony setting that caught all the sunshine & warmth! Plenty of lounge seating in a very bright & light filled unit!! Great bathroom, very clean! Centrally located on Papanui Road, with great morning coffee options within 200m & of course, everything else ChCh has to offer (Merivale Mall, Hagley Park, City Centre) is all within 5-10 mins drive or a 20min walk!!

The bed in the 'Master' was hard. We have a firm bed at home & appreciate a mattress that can hold it's own. That said...this bed was rock hard with no give in the mattress at all. So didn't have a great night's sleep!

Lovely motel ideally located 5 minutes from the central city. Five minutes walk from either the boutique village of Merivale with its selection of cafes and bars, or the Victoria street restaurant area. Also very close to Hagley park for a morning stroll. The motel itself has recently been totally refurbished and has been tastefully outfitted. An added bonus is the addition of a washer and dryer in each unit, very handy when travelling! This is a family run motel and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I recommend highly.

Clean modern excellent location and the owner was super helpful and extremely accommodating , I had asked for an early check in as had all day in limbo and she not only didn’t charge me for the early check in which was mid morning , they got the room ready almost immediately to accommodate us - such welcoming lovely place to say would thoroughly recommend and great value for money !

Staff were really friendly and the laundry facilities were excellent. The property in general was in very good order and everything was very clean. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends. The property was a little out of the center but close enough to reach in a matter of minutes (driving). Everything worked as it should do and it was extremely comfortable.

There was nothing that would put us off staying here again! Perfect for our young family.

We stayed here for four nights and it was fabulous. The owners were very friendly and helpful and had turned on the heat ahead of our arrival which was thoughtful. The location was within level walking distance to the city, with restaurants nearby. The room was great with a cheerful, modern update and in-room washer & dryer if needed, with kitchette. The bed was quite firm but clean and comfortable. There is free off street parking. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was very large, it had everything we needed including a washing machine and dryer. We parked right outside our room which was very convenient when bringing in our luggage. We were an hour late after check-in closed but still Erin welcomed us and showed us to our room. We’ve stayed in 6 properties during our trip and this is the only one where we were shown to our room! Great customer services. We would highly recommend to friends and family and would definitely stay again.

It was close to the road and I could hear the traffic in the morning. I didn’t notice it at night though.

Great location next to the Botanic garden, surrounded with a lot of good restaurants. Friendly staff, I was quite late on the check-in day, the staff was still waiting for me to get me checked in. The cleanliness of the hotel. The quietness of the hotel. The full kitchen appliances, you can cook if you like. The dual mode Aircon which can provide cooling and heating by choosing different modes.

The toilet and the shower cubicle are quite small.

I had asked for a room with calmer colors and Erin provided a nice calming room (as per photo). Easy check-in, easy key return at the key drop-off box. It has air-conditioning so the room temperature could be kept optimal. It was also a very large and spacious room! The sofa chair was so comfortable that I fell asleep in it. There is a private lot in front of Room 3 so it was easy to access our car too! There was a washing machine and dryer which we had used for our laundry.

Very nice family run motel / apartment. Kitchen and bathroom were recently remodeled with nice amenities. Beds were very comfortable. It is located a short distance from the central park and botanical gardens. The best part of the stay was meeting the husband and wife who run the place. They were extremely kind and helpful in giving us directions to get around Christchurch and the airport.

Comfortable and in a good location. We were able to check-in early which was greatly appreciated after a long flight. Friendly receptionist gave us some milk for the coffee which was a nice gesture. Although right off the busy road, it was very quiet at night. A short walk into the center of town, and only a 10-min walk to the nearby mall with a good supermarket.
