We loved the location. It was a perfect base to explore Edinburgh. Walk out the front door and you can see the castle, plus shops, cafes and restaurants are on your door step. There’s also a good little supermarket a block away. We also loved our apartment number 3. It was down one flight of stairs with access to a semi private courtyard. A beautifully decorated room with kitchenette for self catering. It was very quiet and comfortable for our 3 night stay. Staff were nice and helpful

There is no mirror in the bathroom but just outside of it. There is room on the wall for one so this would be a helpful addition

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this apartment in Edinburgh. The location was unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, and countless charming cafes and shops. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the modern amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were incredibly cozy, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the living area was very spacious. Our host was exceptionally welcoming and responsive, providing clear instructions for check-in and great local recommendations that made our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a stylish, convenient, and cozy place to stay while exploring Edinburgh. I’d definitely stay here again!

Very accommodating staff. Excellent housekeeping. Location- just off Princess Street, next to Rose alley which was convenient to a number of restaurants and pubs. Away from the tourist traffic of High Street. We walked to all the major sites from here. Within a somewhat challenging walking distance from Waverly Station (when you have luggage).

We were on the third level. The narrow, winding staircase was a workout with luggage. There is no lift. The weather was very warm during our stay which required the windows to be open. The noise from Rose alley was noticeable.

All of the Edinburgh highlights that we wanted to see were within walking distance of this location, yet it was just far enough off the main roads to be quiet and bring relief from the crowds. Room was clean and pretty. Staff was very helpful. We were able to drop off our luggage before check in and walk around the city.

This is not a complaint, but other people booking this location should know that there is not a front desk staffed 24/7. There is an emergency or after hours number if you need it. Also, there are steep steps to the rooms. Again, not an issue, but people should be aware of this when booking.

The location was stunning, conveniently directly across from a Pret for early morning coffee before a big day of exploring. The castle is directly in view from the front door. Wonderful food options within walking distance, the castle itself is a short walk away. The patio was an added bonus that we wished we had many more days to use. The bathroom was exceptional- best bathroom out of any in the UK we experienced on our vacation. The room was private and quiet, with blackout curtains that helped us sleep even when the sun set at 11 and rose again at 4am. The kitchenette was so handy. We did not expect housekeeping as this is an apartment stay, but were pleasantly surprised and a little embarrassed at our own untidiness when they came to make the bed under the clothes we had left out to fold that morning.

Very easy to access, and we can park right in front, or anywhere in that street, for a limited time. So it was very easy to unload our stuff and the receptionist helped us too. Option to park in the next street just 2 minutes walk away, depending on time of the week, it was free for us from Saturday 6pm to Sunday 12pm. Then option to use the carpark with discount, just 10 minutes walk away. Super friendly and helpful staff, beautiful and well appointed apartment, and right in the centre of Edinburgh, on a relatively quiet and very pretty street. We had dinner just across the street in a fabulous and very chic Thai restaurant, loved it!

A wonderful view of the city and a gorgeous place. Edinburg Castle was within walking distance–a challenging walk but within walking distance.

The second room could've used more ventilation. It was not near a window and there is nothing in the room to create air movement. My daughters felt the room to be hot and stuffy while sleeping there overnight. A ceiling fan would help, or at least provide a box or mobile fan to use during the stay. Also, one should be warned to put precautions in place to help one remember that there is a step down from the main bedroom into the rest of the apartment. Shortly after arrival, because she forgot the drop off while coming out of the room, my wife fell and sprained her ankle with a fall that also pulled a bone chip away from her heel. Perhaps a painted step or eye level warning would be wise.

The location of the appartments were fantastic. You could see then castle on the hill once you walked out the main door and there were plenty of ammenities along the street to eat, drink and wonder around in. The appartment itself was warm, modern, very high ceilings with lovely windows that let so much light in. The bed was comfy and everything was just spotless. The staff were so welcoming and we could leave our bags with them checking out, as the flight wasn't until the evening. There was plenty of brochures for the city available in the stand by the front door. The location and appartments felt very safe.

We were booked into a studio apartment but when we got there it was a one bedroom so it was a nice surprise to get an upgrade. The apartment was very spacious and do clean not speak of dust anywhere. There is no cooking facilities but if you ask for a hob they will give you one. You also get iron and iron board, kettle, microwave, fairy liquid, scourer, tea towel and there is a fridge and microwave. There is also a smart tv , we were greeted warmly on arrival and the man who met us was lovely and very friendly and informative. The bed was so comfy and loved the big fluffy towels in the bathroom and the shower was good. All the staff are lovely and friendly too and he whole hotel is spotless and very good location and would recommend anyone to stay there

The stairs as there isn’t a lift but it’s great exercise so don’t really mind

Great location, the room was a really good size and comfortable. Well laid out and the kitchen was very handy and well stocked with tea and coffee etc. The bed was a brilliant size, fairly comfortable but that is a very selective subject! Overall a very comfortable stay. We arrived after dark, so the surprise of the amazing view of the castle outside was amazing the next day

It was ground floor level which gave an excellent view and volume of the 4am fight outside, however that isn’t really the fault of the premises, to be fair it was a Saturday night and the Rugby had been on that day!!But, if you are a light sleeper maybe request a higher room, it would be worth it to enjoy all the positives about the premises.
